Accutane is a wonder drug when it comes to acne.

I used to get HUGE almost boils... subcutaneous acne they called it.
Accutane cleared it up, and it NEVER CAME BACK!

But it sure made my lips dry and flaky, so buy lots of lip moisturizers.

My problem is I would have 2-3 girl times each month and no amount of pads would keep my clothes clean for at least the first 4-5 the days each time...

Birth control weight gain is often caused by water... More than eating healthy you need to read the labels on your food...

Look for sodium and or salt... Anything with either of those will make you gain water weight...

As funny as it sounds the one thing you need to do to get rid of that problem is to drink water and tons of it... It flushes the salt/sodium out of your system...

Without the salt/sodium you will lose the weight again and if you do it always it will keep the extra weight away...

Jean - I have a couple tubes of SoftLips chapstick, lol. But I'm just really worried about how the medication might affect my liver. It's a bit scary. I'm actually curious as to why they don't take tests to make sure your liver, blood pressure, et cetera is fine first.

katty - that doesn't sound fun. Having your girl thing that often and that much! Did you get the menstrual pains associated with the bleeding? Heh.

Thanks for the tips! I guess I never realized that salty food can do that! Right now my diet has been changed so I eat foods that are low in carbs and sodium. Plus I have to watch my cholesterol. Eating healthy isn't difficult. It's just the exercising...

jenjen; they didn't take your blood test first? o__o; they took my blood test first. and then i was on it for two weeks and they took it again. after that initial test it's supposed to happen monthly, the blood tests while you're on it. if they're not taking the blood tests you should ask them to take it.

No, they did. I have to get it done once every month. But they didn't do a great job on explaining what my blood would be tested for. They just told me that they needed to check a few things. They called me the next day and said, "You're not pregnant, and oh yeah - your cholesterol is a bit high..." But that's it. And I'm mostly worried because I've been having pain in the pancreas/kidney area; sometimes in the liver area. I have a doctors appointment before I start taking Accutane. So I'm going to ask to get some tests done then. Just to be safe. I think what I need to start doing is asking more questions! I just really couldn't think all that well when I was last there, because my sister Michelle tagged along with me. And she kept yacking to the nurse in the same room. :/
