I did a bit of cleaning and fixed some food.
Cleaned out my rat's cage and gave him a bath. Glad to have gotten that out of the way.

He gives kisses and he's such a big baby. Love the little bugger.
I just put a couple inches of warm water in the sink, and put him in there and use tearless baby shampoo on him and scrub him up till he's clean and then rinse him off. He screams the whole time, though. Such a big baby.

Well that is interesting. Maybe I should get a rat...

They're very pleasant pets
The only complaint I'd have is their claws. D: My rat's nails grow quite quickly, and then he runs around my shoulders and up my arm, and it gives me scratches.

Otherwise, they are really great. They have wonderful personalities.

I'm used to scratches all over, from all the cats my father and stepmother have. In fact, I just got a huge scratch down my arm right now. My dad has this demon house cat and it's seriously been around catnip or something. ;<

I love animals, cats are okay, they're not my favorite though. So when the demon cat scratch me (after attacking me by just randomly jumping on me), I picked it up and tossed it about ten feet in front of me. It landed and then tried coming toward me, but my dog started chasing it down the hallway (they just rough play). :lol:

@ nifer - Oh my. Sounds like some terrible cats.

But yes, rats make great pets. If you get them when they're young, and then hold them a lot, then they become very sweet and affectionate.

He has a white body, with a black speckled butt. And then his head is black, and he has a white stripe across his face (from his nose to his ears) that is like a lightning bolt.
