I believe in Dream Catchers too. ^^;;
I forgot where I hid my trusty one but I remember always bringing it with me whenever I knew I was off to a ghost/ghoulies infested area and didn't want visitations in my dreams. ;-;
I don't... like having dreams that are related to those things or plain them projecting and interruption normal sequence of events. D:

I personally think dream catchers are psychological... but then... personally I've slept over at that friend's house and they've never changed my dreams any
I never remember my dreams anyways

I own a dream catcher. It's hanging up in my sisters bedroom right now though. I got it from an old family friend, he made it himself. He's Native American, so yeah...he made quite a lot of them. Oddly, this was the same man once thought to be my father. And could still perhaps very well be so. Considering I just learned this year that my father might not be my real father. He said he took me to a clinic when I was about one year old and had a test done and that it came back that I was his. But I am not so sure I believe he ever did it. Because the way he was talking, he sounded very hesitant. Plus, I look very much so like this family friend and resemble him more than I do my father. :/

Perhaps they are. o A o
But man... Can't forget that incident where my nephew got visited by a scary spirit, waking him up saying it wanted to play. T_T;
The next day I lent him my dream catcher. It didn't come back anymore.

As much as I hate my father sometimes, I can see why he'd want to think I'm his kid. Because I'm the only sweet one in the family. Everyone else is crazy and has bad tempers. The only reason I continue to think on this matter is because throughout my lifetime, people have often asked me if my family is really my biological family or if I was adopted. I've been told I'm not much like any of them.
And I share so many characteristics with this family friend. He's always been so nice to me, but not so much my other siblings. Last I saw him to was about five years ago. He would buy me things, give me hugs, sometimes give me money...heh. I thought he was just being nice. When I was younger, he was around so often, then we all just called him our uncle.
There is a way I can find out, I looked it up. There is a DNA facility. I can order the correct things needed to take samples of my fathers saliva and mine. And they say on the site that while it's not required, a sample of my mothers saliva will help give much more accurate results. I asked my father if he would do it and he finally agreed after trying to dodge it. But I've yet to order the kit. I sort of don't wan't to know...

They are expensive. About $150-$400 for a home kit. Kits for legal reasons I think perhaps cost MORE.
Poet - sometimes it's just a mystery why there is one good person in the family, but the rest are nuts. :lol:

Speaking of zombies reminds me of this documentary I watched on the History Channel yesterday. Way back when, they used to place bells leading down into the graves of people that had died. Ya know, just incase they really hadn't died and had "come back to life", they could ring the bell and someone would come get them. That documentary also showed many other ways they would do that just incase someone was buried alive.

Sometimes I can see a bit of my family in me. I've managed to throw some temper tantrums and get a little hot headed sometimes. Like the time my twenty-five year old stepmother called me a whore. :/ I haven't had a boyfriend since ninth grade. And I'm a virgin, so uh...not sure how I'm a whore. But always being the person who just puts up with those comments and whimpers in self-pity - I blew up! I had finally cracked! I grabbed her by the shirt (which tore) and got in her face and yelled at her. I even tried to hit her. And then I went into my bedroom, grabbed my large wall mirror and threw it on the floor. :XD I cut the palms of my hands and had a few small cuts on my face from flying glass.
And yet...she kept yelling at me (with my father restraining her) about how "street" she is and how she can kick my ass in a heartbeat. And I kept telling her to do it (and even tried going at her myself), but she backed up and was all talk.
There are a few other instances where I've blown up and completely lost my cool. But it's because I bottle things up and am the nice one all the time. It's really not good to be completely passive.

Poet - well, draining of the blood and embalming had only been just discovered shortly before the American Civil War. Without those, even if someone was suffering from a terrible disease and had thought to be dead (perhaps brain dead, et cetera); or any instance where the heart can stop beating and you appear dead, but can start beating moments, minutes or hours later... Not just for people in comas. Because I mean, your heart can still beat during coma. Although pretty darn similiar to what I just described. And well, those flagging and bell methods wasn't really used until the 19th century. And the stethescope was invented in 1816, shortly after the start of that century, heh.
I'm twenty-one, so uh...college grade? LOLOL
HAHA, kitkat! :rofl: My momma is cool, just not my step-mother. She's FOUR years older than me. She can't talk to me like I'm her child. She's younger than my two oldest sisters (aged 26 and 27). How am I supposed to take her seriously?
Don't worry too much about never having a boyfriend. That time I did have one in the ninth grade, it lasted a WEEK! ...and he was a sick kid. Last day I spent with him, he asked me "Want to f***?" Yeah....real winner, not. I dumped him.

@ kitkat - I've learned the best way to find someone is to start a relationship with a really close friend. My fiance was and always will be my best friend... never done those "date this person" thing either... doesn't seem appealing... I'd honestly rather know someone first
