I noticed it because of the illness. Even a friend - a worried, caring friend - wouldn't be that "on top of it" as Drew. At least, not when it's a guy. Girls like taking care of people and fussing and worrying, guys usually aren't perceptive enough to do so, unless they love the person in question.

I didn't tell you? Anna never went to a magic school - hence why she only just has her wand, and isn't very good at it yet. She learned everything during the vacation before... well, now. Her mother went to Hogwarts, her dad to Beauxbatons - but her mum wanted her to grow up without magic. Dumbledore brought her to Hogwarts, because he thought her talents could be very much used in the magic school.

I know you don't mean to, but that does happen when you have a character who is cursed, has a secret grouping, has a teacher who has her back for her and who is followed around by an insane guy. XD lol <3 But like I said, I don't mind too much. Like I said, also, Anna is a "regular" person, she doesn't matter being on the background, although her personality usually puts her to the front, anyway.
