Something she had since she was young, right? She has a minimal form of metamorphmagus, but that shouldn't affect her too much... she could be anemic?

She's had it since she was 4 years old~
Around that time, they lived in Ireland and this "creature" attacked the wizarding community. Saiyuri was the only one that came into contact with it before it disappeared.
However, when she came into contact with it, it bit her. Since then, she's been like this and if she goes too long without taking the liquid in the vile, she begins to change. To this day, no one knows what the creature was but Snape has been working for the past 10 years or so to figure it out due to him being so close to her father (they went to school together and were friends throughout their Hogwarts days as well as into adult hood)~
In that time, he's only been able to come up with a potion that reverses it's effects for a while :3

Wow, such a shame. I really hope they can find a way to fix it.

I haven't decided if he'll figure out a way or not -- but the treatments have begin to decrease in time~
Like -- over the past year or so, the potions have been working less and less so she's been needing more and more -- which is why Drew carries a vile with him where ever he goes just in case of things like this :3

Hmm, so the older she gets, possibly even related to her increase in magical power, the worse it gets. Pretty horrid.

The reason why i'm not sure if I'll have Snape find a cure yet, is because I have yet to come up with a decent enough creature -- I mean, technically it's not a creature -- it's a "wizard"~
And I use the term loosely and the term creature more so because it was once a wizard that drank a potion for his arthritus, but it went wrong during hte brewing and changed him into this creature.
And another reason is that if he finds the cure, it'll have to be from the creature making its way to Hogs Meade (i think that's the place outside of Hogwarts xD) and Snape would have to have gotten blood samples and such -- and i'm not sure how that'll fit into the story line and such later on~

Hmm... well, to counter it, he really should just know the source of the potion that created the creature, right? I think I remember that from HP...
A counter potion is pretty much made up of the cures for seperate parts of the potion... so he would just have to know what the original potion was made up off before he could figure it out...

Well, yeah -- that's what Snape's been working on -- but all he can make is a potion that will slow the process and keep her "normal" while she's on it :3

But in order to find out the potion the guy used, Snape needs to get a blood sample because it was a freak thing that caused the potion to go wrong and no one was with he guy when it happened because he was a Potions Master himself and worked at the Ministry~
Therefore no one knows what happened to the potion nor to what extent it was changed~
So in order to make the Counter Potion, he needs to figure out what ingredients are in the blood of the guy --- because what ever was in that potion is still in the guy's blood stream :3

And just as a heads up -- Saiyuri and them (with the exception of Drew) are always going to ask the questions they have on their mind whether it's their business or not xD
