Stalking threads through the trees
Masking our scent from the breeze
Silent as a mouse
Deadly as an arrow
Fast as a leopard
Strong as a bull
We strike at the heart
Then at the neck
To bring down mighty threads
On the plains of Menewsha.

I'm fine sushi_mew.
That's just annoying when you really don't feel like something someone else does. Did you end up getting sushi anyway?

Ah, no. We didn't. We don't get sushi unless everyone wants it. It's sort of a waste if we go anyways and there's someone who doesn't. We offered to get her take out but she didn't want that.
Do anything cool recently?

Good question. I have been busy lately.
I recently went to an art exhibition launch where a painting of mine is being exhibited along with other artists' artworks.
Today I went to my brother's place and I attempted to play with my nieces who are only 5 months old, they're twins. And even though they're not identical twins I'm only just starting to distinguish the differences between them. lol.
Also had sushi for lunch at a sushi train place, where the sushi comes in plates and is placed on a 'train' which goes around. I hadn't been there before so that was interesting too.

Ou, congrats on the art exhibit! Do you have a picture of it by any chance? I'd love to sneak a peek.
Oh, so cute! I personally want twins for children (I think ti would be lovely~)
Ah well, babies tend to look alike anyways  My baby sister looks very much alike my younger brother when he was a baby to the point in which the only way I can distinguish pictures of them is their surroundings and their hair (we cut my brothers and let my sister's grow longer + barrettes XD)
Oh, so like a belt of sushi? I've always wanted to go to one of those places. It seems intriguing.

I'm actually on a different computer from the one I usually use, so I don't have a picture of my painting that I can show you now. I'll see what I can do when I get back on my own computer, but I think the only picture I have of it is a blurry one, I don't have a fancy phone with a good camera.
You're right about babies looking alike, especially siblings. When you compare photos of them especially just after they're born the siblings even at different times look the same at the same age.
And yes, like a belt of sushi, it was fun, just taking what you wanted, and each plate had a colour which represents how much it costs, and the waiter would count the number of plates and what colours afterwards.

Ah, understandable. I'd love to see it even if it's slightly blurry. Can i ask what kiind of painting it is? (Abstract, portrait, etc....)
I always find it amazing. I never really worried about those hospital stories about mixing up babies until I saw pictures of my younger siblings
Oh, so dangerous for my wallet! I feel like I would lose count after a while x:
Still, cool idea

Here is my painting. I based this off of a photo of a rare breed of rooster named after a phoenix.

Oh cool~ I really like what you did with the background, esp. since it brings out the rooster even more. I like the orange/red going on with the rooster's feathers around its neck
Did you use oil paints for it?

No, but even looking at the actual painting someone once commented that it appeared to be oil based paint. Actually it's acrylic paints.

oh cool.
I just assumed from the picture since it looks thickly applicated and I find people tend to work thicker with oils than acryllics.
I personally am terrible with paints. I like to play with it but am not really good at it, let alone animals

It's not even that thickly applied but I think the white paint I was using was starting to go off, like, the texture felt different as I applied it.
Apparently oil paints are good for a textured effect, but I've never used them before so wouldn't know from experience.

The fumes that come along with oil fumes aren't my cup of tea. I think you have to use varnish to get the paint off your brushes (I believe I used varnish in class...) I got dizzy so much during that week ><
They're lovely to work with though because it stays wet for long periods of time (which can also be bad) I love blending the colours though so... . c.
