I joined Menewsha a long time ago but lost the url and completely forgot about it.

Lucky for me when I finally remembered the Jubilee was in place so I managed to snag a kimono. I'm a little too shy to introduce myself in my underwear *shrugs*

The crappy part is that my phone line went out before I could turn my orchid collection in the NPC to get my even items *sniffles* Dialup is soo crappy.

Anywho, my name is Melissa, I'm 24 years old and live in virginia in a little hick town filled with rednecks and cows.. I'm the only hippy in town so I tend to get a few stares. Then again it doesn't help that my mom completely screwed up my dye job and my hair is 'in your face' fushia right now!

I enjoy online games like Menewsha and am also a member of gaia online (search for comotized, it's my standard). I love listening to music, reading, taking care of animals, hanging out with friends, painting, drawing in adobe illustrator and maintaining my website/blog <- whichever you prefer to call it, i call it a site some people think a blog can only be a blog.. who knows why.

In general I'm just your standard goofy hippy.. but a clean hippy. I do bathe on a regular basis no matter WHAT my mother says! (just kidding, I'm clean I promise!)

As you can tell by my rambling the above 'goofy' statement totally fits me. But I've rambled enough for now. I hope to meet quite a few of you and can't wait to jump in!

Honestly.. I have no idea. I don't even know what the event items were. I basically got two days of orchid/bud collecting in before my phone lines went haywire on me.

As for how I'm doing, pretty good. Things are hectic but all of my bones and organs seem to be working so I'd say I'm good. How are things in your neck of the woods?

I hate driving, i don't hate vehicles but i absolutely HATE being in control of the car. It's just a huge responsibility and i don't want to be responsible for the death or anyone other than myself should I make a mistake ya know?

It is very stressful!
As you say, I mean... your mind slips for a split second and... you could be charged with murder.
I commend those brave enough to get behind the wheel.

I only dislike cars because of my dad. He's obsessed and like spends all our money on cars... well... motorcycles now but still. We're middle-class people living basically from paycheck to paycheck as poor. Only difference is we can have a bit of freedom with food and stuff.
