I really should sleep, my eyes and stomach hurt a lot.
But there are reasons I can't sleep like I'm on here and the pain in my stomach is keeping me up. Also theres people and the fact that I just.cant.seem.to.stop.moving!!!
Gah I think my brains being weird again.

I have insomnia so sleeping in general is always a battle with me. I take lunesta every night and sometimes even then i don't sleep.

My major issue seems to be that I just don't get sleepy.. i can stay up for days and run around like it's nothing.

Other things that keep me up are the fact that my mind doesn't seem to know when to shut itself off, restless leg syndrome and two kittens who think it's hilarious to lick your face, bite your toes or fight each other on your back

I can't sleep because I hate that point where it takes what feels like three years to actually doze off. It took me three hours to do that last time!

I also feel like I'm wasting time by sleeping...

i cant sleep until i feel like im going to pass out from exhaustion or i force myself to sleep.

im not sure why. i get sleepy but i don't want to sleep, its as if i have unfinished business to handle before i go to sleep but i don't. its been like this for a few weeks now.

i also don't like waiting to doze off to sleep.

Yeah I posted this thread and hoped to get to sleep couldn't. Now I'm chewing paper and I don't even remember taking a bite out of it in the first place. Worst of all it's my homework.

@Boomboom: Yes sleeping is a waste of time.
@Nemui: I know the feeling
@Apple pie: unfinished buisness like homework or cleaning?

I think I do have insomnia in a sense. I can't sleep at all no matter how tired I am.
It also comes about only in the late spring and all of summer. I'm also thinking its a climate thing.

My problem is that it seems that I have to be really, really sleepy to actaully fall asleep. That way I can let my mind slow down to a crawl cause otherwise it's going a mile a minute. I hate that; trying to sleep but you can't cause you're thinking too much.

I do eventually fall asleep though. I can't stay up for days like comotized. My friend has the same problem and it just seems kinda freaky.

I can get to sleep sometimes, but it has to be before 12:00am otherwise I'm not getting to sleep. It's weird... I have to lay in bed from at least 10 pm in order to get to sleep. If I stay awake past midnight, I don't sleep.
Also, if I sleep in, like till noon, I can't get to sleep.

I actually have the opposite problem.
I find it hard to stay awake! I'm sure all the insomniacs out there can't see a problem with that but I'd love it I could sleep 8 hours a night and not want to take a nap at 3pm in the afternoon!

Seems like no one has it easy, either can't sleep or sleep to much :)

I really don't know why I can never fall asleep before 1am.
Even though I wake up at 7 and I'm usually tired, I just can not sleep until 1am o_0 I can be feeling really tired and get into bed at 10pm, but I'll lie there awake just staring at the ceiling until after 1 and it just seems pointless. So now I just wait until 1 to get into bed and fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow o_0

I have insane sleeping habits. Lately I've been staying up until 10:00 AM or so and sleeping until 6:30 PM, which is off even for me. Usually I'm up by 4:00 or so. O___O;;

But every time I correct my sleeping habits, they just go back to the way they were...

So even if I try to go to bed at a more reasonable time, I can't fall asleep because I've only been up for eight hours. TT__TT;;
And that is why Fabby can't sleep. :D

I have a tendency to not sleep because my brain just won't. stop. working.

Seriously, I can be dead tired, and I won't sleep.

It's awful because I get up at 6 for school.

I rarely ever stay up. I get really tired easily and am out around 10pm. I can stay up if I have something exciting to do, though. Like hanging out with friends or something. Otherwise, I'm out.

Usually I spend about 10-30 minutes lying on the bed trying to sleep. But, like a lot of other people, I constantly think about things, I jump from one subject to the next.

Sometimes... I get scared right before I go to sleep, I get scared of dying. :\
It's rather depressing, but I live with it.

Things that keep me up:
If I refresh enough on Facebook, maybe something will happen. (Which is doubtful because normally this happens at 1AM and everyone is asleep then)

If I refresh enough on Menewsha, a post that interests me may come up.

Maybe there's a site that I forgot to check. Maybe there's a site I haven't been to in weeks that I suddenly must visit.

I want to listen to a song first.

I notice a blackhead and then spend the next fifteen minute squeezing every pore on my nose, cheeks, and forehead.

I notice a blackhead on my thigh and spend the next ten minutes searching and picking at my legs.

I notice a few stray hairs on my eyebrows, and of course, they MUST be dealt with right away.

I suddenly NEED to see what wallpapers I can get for on my phone. (That was last night. Spent half an hour browsing the wallpaper shop)

I suddenly must have a half-hour long conversation with my mom.

I'm suddenly really thirsty

I'm suddenly really hungry.

I just HAVE to watch this episode of Friends on TV, even though I've seen it five or four times.

I finally get to bed, but then I find myself laying there, eyes wide open, thinking about various things.

If that didn't get the point across; I don't like going to bed.
I don't like waking up, either. Sleep is a bitch for me.

The main reason I don't sleep sometimes (who am I kidding, alot of times x__x) is my overactive imagination. I can literally lie in bed and think...and think... and think... And never get to sleep!! I get so frustrated with myself sometimes!! But if I get hold on a thought, that's it. Sleep flies out the window. :cry:

Other reasons why I might not get any sleep/find it difficult to sleep:
-I'm uncomfortable
-I'm hot
-I don't feel safe
-I'm not tired enough
-There's bad weather outside
-There could possibly be a bug in my room o__O!!!

*sigh* I'm a mess... xDD;;
