He tilted his head in the direction of the most active conversation, his eyes setting alight as he looked at the scene, he was somewhat over protective not that he showed it too much. "Oi!" He said, making sure he was loud enough to be heard, standing up as he spoke, usually people took a look at him - his height and build - then gave up on whatever they were doing. Fear because someone was taller. "Let her go." There only a subtle tone of aggression in his voice, hoping that the drunk would let go just by this.

The man was foolish and drunk though and ignored the man that was trying to get her to come with him. She struggled slightly but meanwhile tried not to drop the glass because she knew the customer would get savagely angry. Her co-worker had begun to ntoice the issue at hand also and was about to approach them.

He made a small move forward but from the corner of his eye he could see someone else who seemed more than willing and ready to help. Why not let him handle it? After all there was no need for him to get involved when it was their work business. Emory waited to see if the other bar tender would move to help, if he wouldn't then he himself would go, if not, then all the less movement he had to do.

A few of the other customers were watching as Lexa managed to place the mixed beverage on the counter. The other bar tender wasn't asking a move at this point because he could very well get fired if someone saw him do anything violent. He didn't want to upset Emory anyways, the defensive prick. He took the mixed drink though and slid it out of harms way and glanced at Emory.

He let a light sigh slip from his lips, his head dropping slightly. Seemed like he would have to do something in the end. The distance from where he stood to the scene was merely a few steps away though it seemed less than half in his mind. Placing one hand on Lexa's back to reassure her and the other gripping the man's nearest shoulder tightly he growled "Let her go." This man had only one chance left if he chose to ignore Emory this time around.

The man looked confused and then looked between the two of them and scowled slightly before letting go of Lexa. She seemed a bit shaken but other than that she was fine. The other occupants of the place had looked back to their plates since they weren't satisfied with a wanted fight. The co-worker stepped in at this point and began to escort the angry customer out of the place.
“Thank you,” Lexa said. “We got a new policy where we can’t hit customers unless they’re really violating us or if they’ve hit us previously and the guy was stronger than me so I couldn’t really do much.”
She looked ashamed for the most part and she was wondering why the other waitress hadn’t come in yet. It was almost time for her to come in, in fact she was about a minute late at this point but she didn’t mind. The girl had a boyfriend at the time and it was possible that they had broken up. It wouldn't be unlikely because Lexa had actually suggested that.

"It sounds like a stupid rule if normally you give them a slap for bothering you like that." He shrugged, he guessed it couldn't be help seen as that was work. He slipped his other arm around her and gave her a brief yet tight hug "Well at least I was here, eh?"

"At least you were here," she agreed lightly as she smiled at him. Lexa enjoyed his presence for the most part but regretted being with him sometimes because they could never truly be together. She wondered why she was a bartender too and didn't just get a normal job where people wouldn't hit on her every day. It was up in sales though but it bothered her. "Do you think I should get a different job?" she inquired after a while.

He tilted his head to the side, "If it bothers you then sure find one you like." In all honestly he didn't have a problem with the job she was currently doing, in fact it kept her in a position which he felt he had more control which worked for him. Jealously and hate were never things that bugged him.

"Well I get to see you every night so I guess it's not hat bad," Lexa said with a smirk. "But I need to get back to work before I mess up any orders. She'd returned to the counter to get the mixed drink to find a note that said it was already delivered. She shrugged before walking back behind the bar and getting a drink ready for a customer that had just sat down.

[[ Sorry for the delay. ]]
He watched her for a little while before something else took his attention. The thing that had taken it had been another person, one he knew slightly, not that they ever acknowledged each other in public crowded places such as these. He watched the slender frame of the woman waltz through the door with a few of her giggling followers close around her. Although he wasn't watching her with anything more than a blank gaze it could of easily been interrupted as a look of wonder.

Lexa was a bit frustrated at the moment since the customers seemed to want things faster than she could make them. She did notice how he was staring at that girl and she could feel her face flush slightly as she dropped something on the floor, forcing herself to become invisible to those around her as she bent down to pick it up. Being behind the bar was essentially the safest place at the moment.

Emory took a glance back at the bar, not seeing Lexa as he did. If she wasn't there then it wouldn't matter if he went to go and socialise. Slipping off his seat leaving his drink on the bar counter and moving towards the female who had just walked in, worming his way into the small crowd around her.

Lexa resurfaced and when she saw he was gone a moment later she looked confused for the most part. She shrugged though and was shocked when her co-worker had given her an item to deliver. She hated delivering the items to the tables.

Emory laughed along with the rest of the group, there must of been at least ten people sat around the one table and he was sat right next to the girl he had been eyeing. Due to sheer unluckiness on his part the order that his girlfriend was carrying was destined for the very same table he was sat at. He had spoken and hung out with this group a few times before but never in front of her, after all they weren't quite the crowd he was known to social with.
