Drew laughed, "No rude remarks? I'm surprised. Your usually only semi-decent when Sai's around. What's the change?" In reguards to his question, Drew smiled and said simply, "Yeah, her father'll kill me if he finds out though. The man still hates me, even after all these years."

Liam smiled, "Hmm, I like that plan. What'll we do all morning though? You'll stick out like a sore thumb in free period."

Saiyuri sighed, "I know you don't mean that."

"Sai, don't read my thoughts and heart, not today . . . please," Leane pleaded, "Just let me cry. Let me feel pathetic for still liking Fynn as I do."

"The mans' a moron to think you'd be anything like your brother," the black-haired boy sips his cup, stating this quite dryly and completely ignoring the other thing.

"You don't have to go to the free period class," she offers, knowing perfectly well they they don't keep tabs on everyone. "And why would I stick out?"

Drew laughed, "No kidding. He still believes it though, you know how he is. Can't really blame him though, Kain is my identical twin and all. You would think he'd learn to tell us apart though, I mean, Kain's a bit taller and his hair's lighter. Plus his accent is a lot heaver than mine is. But does he pick up on these things? Nope. Just treats me like the lowlife guardian of his daughter that I am."

Liam chuckled softly, "'Cause I'd be distracted the whole time 'n' they'd notice if I weren't doin' me work. But where do you expect us to hang all mornin' 'n' not get caught fer skippin'?"

"You've always been more than a guardian," Fynn shrugs, "And anyone could tell you two apart once you open your mouth." Still slightly hungry, he resumes filling his plate, not intending to go to the free period class anyway.

She smiles and shrugs lightly, "I'd sneak you into the Gryffindor common room, but I doubt if that's a good idea. But maybe go out into the grounds? Hagrids' usually busy someplace else and it's not like they can see us from Herbology. And the weathers' nice."

Laughing, Drew smiled at Fynn, "Finally, someone other than my parents who can tell us apart."

Smiling, Liam kissed Anna tenderly. "I like that idea," he said as he look her hand and began walking towards the arch leading to the grounds.

Shrugging, he returns the smile shyly, taking a piece of bacon and biting it. "Not that hard, really."

Grinning, Anna walks next to him, her hand nice and snug in his. "Sometimes I'm just filled with 'em."

A man dressed in a dark green cloack, black pants, black dress shoes, white button up shirt, and a black vest walked over to Drew and Fynn, "Where's Saiyuri?"

Drew quickly stood up and gave a slight bow, "I . . . I'm not sure, sir. I believe she went after Leane."

The man struck the side of Drew's head and grabbed the front of his shirt, "You lost her?! What do you think you're doing boy?! You're supposed to look after the girl, not suppose where she is! Do you even know if she's taken the potion this morning?!"

As the man shoved Drew back, Drew stammered as he looked towards the floor, looking like a young boy who was just found with his hand in the cookie jar before dinner, "Y-yes sir."

Liam chuckled, "Really? What other ideas do ye have?"

His voice stern and not at all impressed by Saiyuri's father, Fynn replies, "Saiyuri is in the girls' bathroom on the first floor, -sir-. You might want to check there before hitting people alongside the head."

"Hmm, I'll let you know," she teases, a bright smile on her face as they go outside, the bright, after-summer sun warming them right away.

Turning to Fynn, the man smirked, "You've got guts, though I doubt you even know who you're talking to boy. It's better to hold your tongue then to speak out to a Rumeti."

Drew, still standing there, bit his lower lip, hoping Phillip Rumeti wouldn't strike out at Fynn's family for his insolence.

Phillip turned back to Drew and gave him a shove in the direction of the door, "You heard him. Get going."

Without hesitation, Drew ran off in search of Saiyuri.

Phillip then smiled as he walked over to Professor Dumbledore and shook his hand. They soon fell into convorsation while a small house elf looked up at Fynn, "You shouldn't have spoken out to the master. He is very kind when you get to know him." The small female house elf quickly ran off to the Ravenclaw Common Room to transport Saiyuri's things.

Liam smiled as he stared at Anna, noting how lovely she looked in the sunlight. As they strolled down the path, he simply smiled, loving every moment.

Knowing well enough not to glare at the house elf, Fynn shrugged a bit, upset at the old man. His own family was of a long line of pure-bloods, and quite wealthy, and he had no stomach to deal with the kind of idiocy Phillip Rumeti dealt with.

Quietly, Fynn continued eating.

Anna sighs contently, really not used to having a boyfriend, but enjoying it a great deal. "You're a bad influence, Liam!" She smiles, taking off her glasses for a moment to let her eyes get used to the sunlight. "Tisk tisk tisk!"

Looking up, Saiyuri noticed Drew walk in rubbing his head. "What's wrong?" she demanded quietly, for Leane had cried herself to sleep through tears and the soft, soothing strokes of Emma's hand through her hair.

Drew whispered back, "Your father. Still bloody hates me."

Sighing, Saiyuri motioned for Drew to sit beside her, "What did he do this time?"

"Hit me 'cause I didn't know where you were, of course."

Saiyuri scowled and gently touched where her father had hit Drew, "He shouldn't have done that."

"Nah, he's right, I should have known where you were. He's looking for you, you know. So you'd better wake Leane up soon before he grows even more impatient."

Saiyuri sighed as she stroked his cheek, "That means I have to go though."

Drew nodded, "I know . . . I still wish you'd stay."

Leane, woke sleepily as Saiyuri shifted a bit on the floor. "Who's leaving?"

Drew sighed, "Sai's father's here."

"No . . . Sai, you can't go!"

"I have to Lee-chan, you know that."

Leane scowled and sat up, "But Saiyuri, what am I going to do without you? What are Kalli and Josh going to do without you? And what about Anna and Drew?"

Saiyuri sighed as she tucked Leane's hair behind her ear, "It's okay Lee-chan, you'll take care of them, I know you will. And you'll be fine, you have Drew and the others if you need to talk. Plus, you'll have Aniela."

"How am I to have her?"

"I'm leaving her with you so she can watch over everyone while I'm gone."

Leane sighed and looked at Drew, "I'd better go then, you two probably want some alone time." Standing up and looking at herself in the mirror, she fixed her hair and make up with a flick of her wand and shuffled out the door back to the Great Hall.

"A bad influence! Yer the bad influence. Yer the one who tricked me into lettin' ya skip!" Liam retorted with a laugh.

Fynn sees her shuffling in, and tentively rises, carefully walking up to her. "Hey... did... did Drew find Sai?"

Leane folded her arms and scoweld at him, "What do you care?"

"Cause I don't want Saiyuri's asshole of a father hitting him again," the black-haired boy shrugs a bit, feeling completely uneasy with talking to Leane, though bracing himself and going ahead with it anyway.

"Since when do you care about Drew's well being? Though I will agree, Mr. Rumeti is quite the jerk when he doesn't know you. If he knows your dear friends with Saiyuri, he's not like that. His daughters mean everything to him. Unfortunately, Drew is treated differently because Mr. Rumeti doesn't consider him Saiyuri's friend, he just considers him as her guardian," said Leane icily, her scowl still present and a hint of resentment still in her icy voice.

Turning to Saiyuri, Drew rested his forehead against hers as they closed their eyes and he caressed her cheek, "I don't want you to leave."

"I have to, please don't ask me to stay."

"I won't if you don't want me to. But know that I'll be lost without you."

Saiyuri leaned back against the base of the sink as Drew began passionately kissing her. Kissing him back just as passionately, her fingers clasped his shirt, pulling him closer.

"Makes him the fool," Fynn states coldly, an automatic reaction to Leane's own icy voice. He almost wants to snide her for saying such a thing, but catches himself in time. Instead, his eyes turn kind and warm again, and he eyes her lightly before saying, "And I always cared about your well-being - all of you. I just didn't show it all the time."

"You should learn to show it instead of despising us so," Leane stated flatly, the icyness subsiding a tad as she looked into Fynn's eyes.

"It's kinda hard to do when you're convinced the people in question despise you," he offers with a shy smile.

The iciness in Leane's voice quickly returned as she glared at him, "We weren't the ones who betrayed our friendship just because we were Slythies, Huffies, and Ravvies Fynn! You betrayed us because you became a Gryffie and Gryffies have a long standing rivalry with us Slythies. Maybe you shouldn't have turned your back on us and maybe we wouldn't despise you so!"

Not returning the glare, he just says, "It was a misunderstanding...I felt like you were betraying me..."

Leane laughed as she continued her glare, "Betrayed you. Betrayed you? How do you figure Fynn? We were still trying to be your friends when you continued to shun and mock us. How is that betraying you?!"

Her humourless laugh annoyed him, and while he'd always admired this harder side of Leane, Fynn now founded it quite exhausting. "Because you DITCHED me! You were happily skipping along in Slytherin with Josh and I was just a 'Gryffie'." He spit out the word in annoyance, though in fact he'd always been glad as a Gryffindor - it had pained to know that Leane had gone into his rivaling house, and that Josh was with her in it pained even more. Still, he hadn't meant to say it, and the harsh expression on his face turned into a slightly emberrassed one.

"What did you want me to do - ask the Sorting Hat to change it's mind? Do you expect me to hate being a Slythie? I love this house, I wouldn't change it for the world! Is it my fault my character traits fit best with Slytherin and not in Gryffindor?! Not all Slytherin's are bad Fynn! And not all Gryffies are good," Leane added with a smirk.

"If you remember properly, Kain was a Gryffie for the few weeks he was here last year in disguise, and you remember what he tried with Saiyuri. So don't you dare harp on me just because I'm a Slythie. I'm proud to be one, and I'm proud Josh is with me. We are so much alike, it seemed only natural to be in the same house as him. And why would you give a damn about Josh and what house he went in? You hardly ever spoke two words to him in your entire life! You refused to associate with him because he was an orphan. Tell me, how is that living up to the standards of a precious Gryffie," she spat out as she continued to glare and her voice became more and more ice-like.

As she folded her arms, the blue streaks in her hair began to crackle, "In case you didn't notice during the ceremony, I was hoping you would be in Slytherin with us, but you obviously don't belong in our house. You've got Gryffie blood written all over you," a tear rolled down her cheek as she added, "So why don't you do us all a favor and run back to your little house and quit trying to blame me for everything!"

His fist angrily slammed down on the table next to him, and a number of people looked at what the ruckus was around. "You're defiantly not even bothering to understand me!" His voice was loud and angry, but as he saw the tear trickling down her cheek, he calmed down. Reaching out, he gently wiped it off her skin with his thumb. Fynn sighed as he withdrew his hand almost right away, knowing she wouldn't appreciate the gesture.

"Get used to seeing me more, Leane. I'm not going anywhere."

Outside, Anna had cheerfully settled down by a tree, her hand reaching for Liam to join her on the floor. Something as silly as stains didn't occur to her, and even if it had, she wouldn't care about it. "Come lie down," she grinned, patting her lap.

Mr. Rumeti, seeing the ruckous with Leane, strided began to make his way towards Leane.

Leane glared at the wall as another tear rolled down her cheek, refusing to look Fynn in the face, "Why not. No one wants you here."

Mr. Rumeti stood behind Fynn, a hand pressed firmly on his shoulder, "Leane, this boy causing trouble?"

Leane, still looking at the wall, shook her head gently, "No, it's alright Mr. Rumeti, he was just leaving. Saiyuri asked me to tell you that she would be down momentarily. I'm afraid I'll be late for free period if I don't get a move on. It as a pleasure seeing you again Mr. Rumeti."

Quickly turning around so Phillip couldn't see the tears, she quickly made her way out of the Great Hall towards the Courtyard, where Free Period was being held.

Mr. Rumeti, seeing a tear fall from Leane's chin as she turned around, squeezed Fynn's shoulder a bit harder, "Now listen to me boy, you stay away from her. You're nothing but trouble for her, so keep away from her, and her friends, you hear me?"

Saiyuri bit her lower lip as she saw Leane using magic once more to stop the tears and fix her make-up before anyone saw as she made her way towards the Courtyard. Sighing as she took Drew's hand and wrapped her other arm through his, she rested her head on his shoulder, "I'm afraid Fynn must have just spoken with her . . . I don't think things have gotten off to a very good start."

Gently squeezing Saiyuri's hand, Drew kissed the top of her head, "No, I don't think it has. I'll watch it for the next few days and send you an owl. I'm sure everything will cool off. He was pretty pleasant this morning while speaking with me before your father came. Speaking of your father," he said as he gently pushed Saiyuri away as they walked into the Great Hall, "I don't think he'll be happy to see you like this."

Moving Fynn out of the way, Mr. Rumeti folded his arms, "No, indeed he will not. Saiyuri, what are you doing hanging on to that wretch like that?"

Upon laying down and resting his head upon Anna's lap, Liam smiled and took her hand, kissing it gently before tracing circles and spirals upon her palm. Sighing contentedly, he continued to trace such patterns on her palm as he softly spoke, "Well love, we've successfully snuck away 'n' are on our first date. Looks like we can tell Kal 'n' Josh there's always skippin' free period t' have some alone time together, eh?"
