"Thank you," Leane said with a grin as Fynn handed her her wand.

Sighing as he flipped through the pages, less than eager to begin their practicing for she was quite sure to make a fool of herself, Leane nodded, "Yes, Saiyuri helped with those over the summer."

Liam's face tightened as he took the bitter stick out of his mouth and placed it on his plate. Taking a long drink from his goblet, a blush crept into his cheeks as Anna spoke of love.

Drew grinned, "Careful Anna, you may have just admitted to having more feelings for Liam than you let on."

Liam cast Drew a look that said 'Shut it 'r yer dead, Weston'.

Drew rolled his eyes and went back to his food, "Alright alright, I'll shut it I'll shut it."

"See that ye do. Remember who ye 'ave t' go back t' the Common Room with," said Liam with a grin.

"Yeah yeah, and remember who has Saiyuri's cell number, right?"

Liam laughed, "Right. Now leave 'er alone, got it?"

"Got it," Drew said as he reluctantly agreed.

Looking up at the sound of her reluctance, Fynn gave her a warm smile. "Want to give those a shot, just once?"

"Now what did I just tell you two?" Shaking her head in amazement, the young Belgian girl looked from one boy to the other. "I don't mind Drew teasing like this; he's not saying anything new. I simply don't say things that I don't mean to say." With her eyes now looking into Liams', she checked if he'd gotten the meaning - the meaning being that he was indeed loved by her - "Alright?"

Leane groaned, "Oh alright.. What shall I test it on?"

Drew shot Liam a look of 'What did I tell you? See? I was right!'.

Liam simply blushed as he gazed into Anna's eyes, giving a simple nod to show that he understood her full meaning.

Vanora trotted into Great Hall, running over towards Liam and jumping on his lap, nuzzling her head against his hand.

Liam, glad for the distraction to hide his embarrassment, smiled at Vanora as she crawled up his chest, sat on his shoulder, and looked over at Anna.

"I though' ye went with Sai, Aniela?" Liam said softly to the fox-squirrel on his shoulder.

As if in response, Aniela jumped from Liam's shoulder onto Anna's head and climbed down to sit on her shoulder, purring in Anna's ear as she licked Anna's cheek.

Reaching over to the shelves again, the young Gryffindor picked out another book, placing it on another table about three feet away. "Here... I'm sure you'll do fine," he laughed a bit, noticing the reluctant expression on Leane's face. "And if you do feel like you're messing up - it's just me, Lee."

"That tickles," Anna giggled, pushing up her glasses before reaching to scratch Vanora behind the ear in a single movement. "Saiyuri probably left her here to keep an eye out for her." Her nose wiggling lightly as she smiled at the animals' purring, affectionatly caressing it's little head.

Leane shot Fynn a 'Don't even start..' look as she pointed her wand towards the book, "Accio book!"

The book in front of her sat still, while a book from behind her flew at her and just barely grazed her ear as it flew by and landed with a loud thud on the floor a foot in front of her.

With an 'I told you so!' glare at Fynn, Leane slammed her wand on the table, as was usual when she horribly messed up, and her hand immediately went to her ear, which hurt quite terribly.

Liam laughed, "Most likely. Man I miss 'er," he added with a sigh, "When's th' girl callin' anyway?"

Drew laughed, "For the last time, tomorrow!"

Liam sighed as he took a sip from his goblet, "Yeah, well.. I'm tempted t' call 'er meself tonight."

Drew smiled as he looked over at Liam, "My thoughts exactly. What say you Anna? Want to give Sai a call? I've got speaker on my cell," he added with a smile as he turend his gaze towards Anna and Vanora.

As he was biting his lower lip to keep from laughing, Fynn hurried over to Leane to check if she was alright. "That wasn't too bad," her boyfriend managed to say without laughing as he carefully removed Leane's hand from her own ear to check the damage. Though it was but a minor cut, a drop of blood had begun welling up, and the redness of the skin indicated that it must be hurting plenty.

"I think I saw what caused it, though - the movement of your wand was too forceful." It was too hard not to laugh at her misfortune, and as such, Fynn just continued talking as he brandished his own wand and held it carefully against Leane's ear. His forehead wrinkled as he concentrated, swishing and flicking his wand in a particular manner as he muttered an incantation underneath his breath - resulting in the small wound on Leane's ear to be healed instantly. "Remember what Flitwick always says," Fynn smiled contently after checking his handiwork on her ear, "Nice wrist movements are a must. Feeling better?"

"I say you do whatever it is you want to do," Anna was wholly concentrated on Vanora as she attempted to make the creature purr louder, her brightly-coloured fingernails scratching underneath the squirrle-like animals' chin. "Which would be calling Saiyuri. I have no information to share with her just yet."

Leane stuck her tongue out at Fynn as she crossed her arms, then leaned back in the chair, and finally turned her gaze away from Fynn, obviously giving him the silent treatment for the moment. For although the cut was gone, the pain and humiliation were still there, and it didn't help that Leane could hear the hint of held-back laughter in his tone, which in turn caused her hardened glare and the blush in her cheeks.

Vanora nuzzled her head against Anna's fingers, nearly falling off Anna's shoulder as she reached towards the fingers.

"Easy does it, Aniela," Liam laughed as he reached out and helped Vanora catch her balance upon Anna's shoulder. Giving Liam's hand a quick lick in thanks, Vanora began nuzzling her head against Anna's cheek and ear.

Liam smiled as he watched the small fox-squirrel, "Looks like she's taken a likin' t' ye Anna. What'd'ya do t' win her affection so quickly?"

The coldness of her glare caused the last of his amusement to dissapear, and Fynn's eyebrows rose as he looked at the face three inches in front of his own. "I think I know what the other problem is."
Letting out a light sigh of dissapointment - dissapointment at Leane's childish behaviour over failing, rather then the failing itself - Fynn stood up again, holding his wand firmly in his hand as he flicked and swished it, saying with a clear voice, "Orchideous."

A loud BANG followed seconds later as a large amount of flowers erupted from the tip of Fynns' wand, covering both Leane and himself in their gentle pinkness. "Normally," Fynn spoke dryly, "That spell should give me a neat bouquet of flowers. Not an explosion of flowers. There's nothing bad about failing. The bad thing is giving up on it."

"It's an adorable, furry, purring animal," Anna smiled broadly as a blush of contentment coloured her cheeks, her own head tilted a bit to push back against Vanora's as she continued the scratching. "Do I NEED a reason?"

Leane couldn't help but laugh as she picked a flower from Fynn's hair, "Must you always rain on my tantrums? You're acting more and more like Saiyuri!" Placing a kiss on his lips, she smiled, "But I must say, I do like the gesture. Alright, I'll try again, for you. But if I get hit one more time by one of those blasted books, I'm burning them. That spell I have down pat," she added with a laugh as she picked her wand back up and tried her best at the movements, "Accio book."

Liam laughed, "No, it's jus' she's usually so timid 'n' unfriendly towards new people."

Drew laughed, "She's probably seen how Sai is around her and thinks of her as one of us now."

This time, the book made a beeline for Fynn's head - who managed to duck just in time for the book to fly over him and land neatly on a table behind him. "Better," he laughed, "At least now you can use it to attack people. The thing is," the black-haired boy moved behind Leane, pulling her chair back to help her stand up, "The Summoning charm just moves an object blindly. If you don't give it a place to land in, it'll just fly at you. So, what we do is this..."

Still standing behind her, he opened his hand, nodding at Leane to try the spell again.

With genuine surprise in her voice, Anna looked at the two men. "Really? She was so friendly before, too. Must be something in my scent that appeals to her, I guess."

Leane laughed as she teased, "Maybe that was my intent all along, dearest!" Sighing, she stood up and pointed her wand at the book again, "So all I have to do is cast the spell, and it'll go right to your hand?"

Drew and Liam looked at each other before looking at Anna and speaking in unison, "Aniela? Really?"

Drew couldn't help but laugh, "It took her weeks to get comfortable enough with Liam and the others to leave Saiyuri's shoulder first year; even longer before she allowed them to touch her!"

Liam rolled his eyes, "Aye, but then she wouldn't leave us alone if ye remember. Looks like Anna's 'er new prey. Hope yer prepared t' give up a pillow every nigh' t' her," he said teasingly as he smiled at Anna.

"If you concentrate enough, it should," Fynn smiled, giving a light kiss in her neck as he wrapped his free arm around the girls' waist, nuzzling her shoulder affectionatly. "Unless you want it to hit me in the face again, of course. Remember to properly do the wand movements, though - and not too forceful. Be calm, at ease, and confident that you can do it. I am."

Giving a mock-glare at Liam as she stuck out her tongue, the brunette answered coyly, "There's room for a whole other person to lie next to me, but since I can't share my bed with you, I'll gladly settle for Vanora."

Leane blushed as his affectionate tone and movements, "A-alright, I'll try."

Taking a deep breath, Leane focused on her wand movement as she whispered, "Accio book." With the words spoken, she immediately tensed up and closed her eyes, afraid to see where it landed or what it hit.

Liam's face turned 6 different shades of red as a deep blush crept into Liam's cheeks. Not even able to speak, he quickly turned his face away from Anna's and focused on the table in front of him.

Drew burst out laughing and flashed a grin at Anna, "Well, you may not be able to share a common room bed, but that's nothing the Room of Requirement can't solve."

Liam, still too embarrassed from Anna's words, simply ignored Drew as he continued to focus on the table in front of him.

"You can open your eyes, now," was the only thing Fynn said, though his head at tilted slightly to look at her face. In his hand, resting there securely, was the book.

Laughing aswell, Anna shook her head. "I do believe this is the first time I teased and bluffed without you catching me on it, Liam."

Leane slowly opened one eye to peek, "I didn't hurt you or break anything?"

Noticing a spine appearing in the corner of her eye, she turned her head slightly and saw the book in his hand. Leane grinned as her eyes shot fully open. Turning around, she threw her arms around Fynn's neck, placing a tender kiss upon his lips.

Smiling as she gazed up into his eyes, Leane kissed Fynn's nose before saying softly, "I did it, thanks to you."

Liam, still blushing, said nothing.

Drew laughed, "Looks like the poor guy's still in shock of hearing you say it! I don't think he ever expected such a thing to come out of your mouth."

Stammering, Liam stood from the table, "I-I think I'll go give Saiyuri a ring."

Quickly climbing over the bench, he made his way out of the Great Hall, heading towards the Main Entrance for privacy and reception.

Hugging her with his one arm, Fynn returned the kiss gently, opening his eyes again to smile at her. "No, you did it because you managed to calm down enough. Try it again, but with your own hand held open." He gave her a final, close-mouthed kiss, before walking back to the table to put down the book. "It's all about concentration."

If the girl was a devil, she would've grown horns on the spot. Instead, Anna gave a devious grin as she glanced at Liams' red face. "I've said worse things than that, haven't I? I know I've certainly THOUGHT about 'worse' things...."

Leane nodded, "Alright, but if I get hurt, you're in for it."

Biting her lower lip, she timidly raised and opened her free hand as she concentrated on the movements of the wand, "Accio book."

Liam's blush deepened as he simply kept walking, afraid to even answer her comment, and darted out of the Great Hall.

Drew grinned as he reached across the table and ruffled Anna's hair, "Way to go Anna! I'd say you've definitely gotten back at Liam for the incident with Josh, wouldn't you?"

A bit less hesitantly this time, the book moved towards Leane's hand in a straight line - only to fall to the ground inches before reaching the hand.

"If you get hurt, we can fix it," calling out to her from behind the other table, Fynn gave an encouraging nod of his head. "So don't be scared of getting hurt. You can do this."

Grinning over the table at Drew, Anna shrugged lightly. "I wasn't trying to get back at him for anything..." A gentle pink coloured her cheeks as she admitted, "He's just cute when he blushes."

Nodding, Leane forced a smile, remembering her ear as she bent down, picked up the book, and tossed it to Fynn, "Yeah... right.. fix it.. right.. too bad the pain doesn't diminish," she added almost to herself as she gently stroked her ear before holding her hand out, palm-up, "Alright, I'll try it once more."

Drew smiled, "You sure are a strange one, Anna."

----

Still blushing, Liam pulled out his cellphone as he reached the Main Entrance. Upon seeing Josh and Kalli, he laughed and walked over to him, "'ello you two, gettin' late don' ye think?"

Kalli laughed as she smiled at Liam, still clasping Josh's hand, "Mm, maybe, but I'm not ready to leave yet."

Josh simply rolled his eyes as he pulled Kalli back over to him, "What's it to you, Ravvie? What are you doing here so late?"

Liam grinned as he turned his phone towards Josh, showing Saiyuri's picture with the sign 'Call in Progress' written along the bottom of the screen, "What's it look like Slythie?"

Kalli grinned, unable to control her excitement, "Put it on speaker already!"

Liam laughed as he pressed the speaker button as he ruffled Kalli's hair.

A small, sleepy voice came out of the phone, "Hello?"

"Just imagine," Fynn grinned teasingly at hery as he set the book back down again on the table. "If we master this, we can try that one spell that makes you feel happy. Next time we have a kind of accident, we'll just use that spell on each other and laugh our way through the pain."

"I'm the weird one?" Her smile broadened as she leaned over the table to tap Drews' nose flirtily. "This coming from the guy who - the day before yesterday - had absolutely no flirting skills, and now magically tapped into them to get his best mate jealous?"

Leane simply laughed as she rolled her eyes, "Sounds like a plan, Professor Fynn." Her hand still held out in front of her, she focused on her other hand to make the proper movements. Her voice full of newly found confidence, she grinned as she spoke the words, "Accio book."

In moments, the book flew straight at her, landing gently in her hand. Laughing, she set her wand and book onto the table, which she darted around before throwing her arms around Fynn's neck. Placing a kiss on his nose, she couldn't keep from giggling as she smiled and exlaimed, "I did it! I actually did it! We did it Fynn!"

Drew laughed as he gently poked Anna's forehead, "Yeah, but it worked didn't it? Got you to admit your feelings, and got him to show his. I'd say it was pretty genius don't you?"

"Saiyuri!" exclaimed Kalli as she took the phone from Liam's hand, "I have so much to tell you!"

Saiyuri sleepily laughed as she spoke, "Hello Kal, not much news here I'm afraid, so why don't you tell me everything?"

Kalli grinned as she took the phone of speaker, darted out side, and began telling Saiyuri all of the latest developments between Fynn and Leane, she and Josh, and Anna and Liam. The two girls chatted for what seemed an hour before Liam finally opened the door and inquired, "Kal? I can hear yer laughter all the way in here, are you two hyenas done gossipin' yet?"

Blushing, Kalli nodded as she walked inside, "I'll talk to you later Sai, Liam seems like he has something important to say."

"Alright, I'll talk to you Saturday Kal, G'night!"

"Night Saiyuri!" Kalli said before handing the phone to Liam.

Josh laughed as he took the phone before Liam could take it, "'ello Sai! We all miss you."

Saiyuri smiled, "I miss you too Josh. How's Drew?"

"Eh, I think you might want to hear how Drew is from Liam. Those two have been at it ever since you left."

"Oh no! Whatever about?"

"Oh you know, Anna mainly."

Liam, who was standing beside Josh, rolled his eyes as he lightly slapped Josh in the back of the head and said loudly over Josh, "Ye don' understand Sai, I'll tell ye later."

Saiyuri giggled, "Alright, Josh, enough harassing poor Liam, I'm sure I'll hear all about it when you put him on the phone."

"Alright, g'night Sai. I look forward to you coming home."

"Me too Josh. Now you behave and don't give Fynn any trouble alright?"

Josh laughed, "Yeah, alright. For you, anything."

Saiyuri laughed, "Put Liam on the phone and head to bed, I'll talk to you soon."

"Sure thing Saiyuri," Josh said before handing the phone to Liam and taking Kalli's hand, "Now you and me are going to leave Liam here to have a heart-to-heart with our dear Sai."

Kalli giggled, "Of course, night Liam!"

Liam smiled as he took the phone and placed it up to his ear, "Night guys."

Kalli and Josh smiled as they walked hand-in-hand towards the Hufflepuff Common Room.

"Hey Liam, how are you?"

"Well, feelin' murd'rous actually," Liam said teasingly with a laugh, "towards yer boyfriend."

Hugging her tightly around her waist, Fynn looked warmly at her happily glowing face. It was adorable that she got this excited over such a small victory, and he loved her even more for it. "No," he smiled, kissing her gently before continuing, "You were right the first time - you did it. Congratulations."

Feeling like nothing had been said that wasn't already known to both her and Liam, Anna just looked at Drew calmly for a moment, her eyebrows raised in mild amusement. It would be so easy to crush his elated feelings, the brunette knew, but indulging in a little kindness, she gave a small, warm smile as she nodded. "Yeah, you did good. Thanks, Drew."

Leane shook her head, "Wrong. If it weren't for you, Fynn, I never could have done it. It's all thanks to you that I had the confidence to make it work." Smiling, she kissed his lips tenderly before kissing his cheek. Resting her cheek upon his shoulder near his neck, she hugged him close and whispered softly, her warm breath caressing his neck as she spoke, "Thank you."

Drew grinned as he took a sip from his goblet, "Any time. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm thinking the common room sounds pretty good right now, eh? It's been quite a long day, I'm completely out of energy, and we've got a big day tomorrow, not to mention we have Saturday to prepare for."

Saiyuri couldn't help but chuckle at Liam's words, "Oh Liam, what has he done now?"

"Besides lay it on thick with Anna 'n' drive me up th' wal with jealousy? Nothing."

Saiyuri sighed, "He didn't listen to me, did he."

"Nah, did everythin' ye told 'im not to I imagine."

"Tell me everything so I know how much to yell at him the moment I hear his voice."

Liam laughed, "Nah, it's alrigh' Sai. He was just tryin' t' get Anna 'n' I together, can't be too angry with 'im."

Smiling, Saiyuri shifted the phone to her other ear before speaking, "Mm, sounds like his heart was in the right place. Speaking of Anna, where do you plan on taking her tomorrow?"

"Not sure. She's never been t' Hogsmeade, so I thought I might take her aroun' 'n' show 'er everythin'. Sound too dull?"

"No, I think it will be perfect! Now, Mr. O'Reily, you'd better head to bed. Don't you have class in the morning?"

"Aye, 'n' you should head t' bed yerself."

"I was until a certain someone called," Saiyuri teased with a laugh.

"Sorry abou' tha'. I initially called t' vent abou' Drew. But talkin' t' Josh while Kal was talkin' t' ye, 'n' talkin' t' ye after helped quite a bit."

"I'm glad, Liam. I'm glad you found someone who's beginning to love you, I really am."

Liam laughed, "Aren't ye a presumptuous one. Who ever said she was in love with me?"

"No one, but I think she's coming around," said Saiyuri slyly.

Liam rolled his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, sure, sure. Whatever ye say Sai. G'night love."

"G'night Liam. Say 'Hello' to Anna and Drew for me will you?"

"Sure thing," Liam said with a smile as he shut the phone and began making his way towards the Great Hall.

His hand reached up to lovingly caress her hair, his head resting against hers. "Any time." He wasn't about to diminish the pleasure of the moment by argueing with her about who had brought it about, so instead, Fynn said nothing, and just held her warmly against him.

Hmm-ing in agreement, Anna absentmindedly rested her chin in her hand, going over the list of things she needed to read and study tonight in her head.

Leane smiled as she kissed his neck gently before nuzzling her nose against his neck and whispering softly, "Does this mean studying is over?"

Drew smiled, "Well, I'll leave you to your thoughts. G'night Anna!" Standing up, he reached across the table and ruffled her hair gently before stepping over the bench and heading out of the nearly deserted Great Hall.

Liam smirked as he met Drew at the doorway to the Great Hall, "Hey mate, Anna still in there?"

"You guessed it lover-boy, stopping by for a goodnight kiss?"

Liam rolled his eyes as he ruffled Drew's hair before gently pushing him in the direction of the Ravenclaw Common Room, "get t' bed 'n' don' worry abou' what Anna 'n' I do 'n' don' do."

"Alright alright," Drew said with laugh as he headed towards the Common Room.

Laughing to himself, Liam headed into the Great Hall towards Anna.
