Vanora trotted over to Saiyuri and jumped onto her lap, rubbing against her arms and chest as she licked Saiyuri's chin. Smiling, Saiyuri began to pet the small fox-squirrel just as Anna sat down beside her.

"Anna.. what are you doing here? And why did you tell Fitzwilliam you were being tested?"

Drew leaned past Saiyuri and added, "Honestly Anna, she's going to find out sooner or later, and then you'll be in trouble and have even more detention days with Finch."

The brunette shrugs lightly as she relaxedly leans back in her chair - not in the slightest worried. "It'll give me something to do in the evenings, no?" She glances at the pair next to her, and smiles brightly. "Besides, I had the banning charm down already; so there was nothing for me to do for the rest of my lesson. She's bound to forget that I was the one in here today. I don't have class from her until the end of the week."

Anna winked cheerfully at Josh, Leane and Kalli, then turned her face back to the front.

"Now shush, she's trying to teach."

Leane and Kalli highfived and Josh smirked as Drew ignored Anna's wink and simply stared at the Professor, waiting for the lesson to begin.

Saiyuri, still a bit confuzed, continued to pet Vanora as she took out her wand and awaited the lesson to begin.

Professor Georgiana Fitzwilliam smiled as she turned and addressed the class, "Since you all are so keen on dueling, I believe we should begin the lesson for today by learning the Conjunctivitis Curse." Professor Fitzwilliam began to explain the curse as she walked around the room in front of the students, "This curse damages your opponents eyesight during the duel. However, the effects do not last more than a few days. This curse is quite handy when your opponent is beating you and you need a breather to get your wits about you." She went on to explain the wand movements as well as the symptoms the opponent would feel and how they would look once the spell had been cast.

Though Drews' ignoring her egged her on a little bit, Anna pointedly kept facing the front as she followed the class, making notes on a piece of parchment now and again. Eventhough she had gotten into the class by way of lying, she was not passing up a chance to learn more about the magical world.

It didn't take her long to decide on a course of action, though, and she silently ripped a small piece of parchment from the scroll, scribbling something on it before passing it on to Saiyuri.

"What is the deal with you and Drew, now?
Do you know how you feel about him?

Saiyuri, upon reading the parchment, quickly flipped it over and scribbled a quick reply as the Professor had began calling upon students who had raised their hands and volunteered to practice the spells on a dummy Fitzwilliam had conjured for practice.

"Anna, please.. he doesn't care for me as more than a sister. I already told you what happened between us before.
I'd rather not be injured farther by continueing to have affection for him when it is not being returned. And he simply causes more reason to believe he is indifferent towards me by the way he acts. He's always so crabby and disinterested in everything I say and do lately...
It's obvious he wants nothing to do with me and he's simply doing the duty his father bestowed upon him years ago. I'm sure he's interested in someone else -- most likely Katyana Deverenski.
She's a 4th year you know, from Ravenclaw. They're always together when he's not with the Leane and the rest of us. They seem so close... it must be because they care deeply for one another.. I was just too blind to see it..

Angrily, Anna doesn't even pretend to be paying attention to the class, and scribbles hastily on the same side:

"You're being stupid and blind, alright. HE LOVES YOU! I KNOW! HE TOLD ME! And I didn't misunderstand. Now talk to him, you DOLT!

She smiled happily as she gave the note back to Saiyuri, slightly pushing at her arm to urge her to talk to Drew.

Vanora watched the piece of parchment go back and forth and decided to start batting at it as Saiyuri picked it up and read what Anna had wrote. Drew, noticing Vanora's playful attacks at the parchment, became a bit curious, and, giving a curious look to Saiyuri, inquired as to what was written on the piece of parchment.

Crumpling it up, she immediately shoved the note in her pocket and mumbled, "N-nothing Drew.. Just Anna's sillyness."

"About?" he urged.

"N-nothing.. just... nonesense about us.."

"What kind of nonsense?" inquired Leane.

"Yeah, what kind? You never know, it may be true!" added Kalli with excitement.

Blushing deeply and her eyes becoming quite pink, Saiyuri looked down and focused on Vanora as she spoke, "About how you're in love with me... But I know that isn't true because you're in love with Katyana. It's quite obvious because you're always with her when not with us, and are always ditching us for her. Therefore I know what Anna says cannot possibly be true, even though I truly wish that what she says is true."

"Sai-"

"Don't, I don't need to hear it from you to confirm, your look of 'I'm sorry Sai, I didn't mean to hurt you' is all I need as proof."

"Now wait just a minute Sai. That is not what I was thinking at all!"

"Drew... Don't..."

"Don't what? Tell you I love you from the bottom of my heart and have loved you since we were small children?"

"You may think it's love Drew, but you know very well you've just been following orders these long years and have simply come to consider me as a sister."

"Is that what you want Saiyuri? For me to only love you as a sister?" retorted Drew, a bit taken aback.

"What does it matter anymore..."

"It does matter Sai! It matters a great deal!"

Leane looked at Kalli and whispered, "Is it me, or is Sai VERY unaware of the situation."

"I'd have to agree, however, it does seem that she's very much in love with him and she just won't admit it," whispered Kalli as she gave a slight chuckle.

Josh, finally having enough of the round about questions, turned to Saiyuri and looked her in the eyes, "Do you love Drew?"

"No." replied Saiyuri, her eyes turning black as she did so.

"Liar."

"I am not!"

"Your eyes always contradict you when you lie Saiyuri. They turn black."

Blushing deeper, her eyes turned back to a dark pink, "Shut up Josh.."

"You see? She loves you dumbass, now tell her."

"Tell her what?"

"That you love her you dolt!" whispered Leane furiously.

"She doesn't want to hear that."

"YES SHE DOES!" whispered Leane so furiously that the Gryffies behind them suddenly became aware that they weren't paying attention to the lesson what so ever and began to try and ease drop onto their convorsation.

"If he doesn't love me, why should he say it just to comfort me.."

"But Saiyuri... I do love you.. and not in a sisterly way. It may have started that way but it's turned into another kind of love over the past few years."

"Is this really the best time to discuss this? Fitzwilliam is sure to find us not paying attention and we'll be in detention up to our knees for it."

"You've got that happening already, anyway, sweeties!" The young professor smiles at the group, only a mild twitch of annoyance in her brow. "I suggest you two..." She points at Saiyuri and Drew, "Go outside of the classroom and resolve this right now. Then when you get back, I'll give you extra homework to make up for disturbing my class." The brunette smiles brightly as she walks to the door, opening it invitingly.

Smiling lightly - happy her big mouth might actually have helped them - Anna keeps a straight enough face. Though she's unable to resist throwing a wink at Leane and Kalli in victory.

Kalli and Leane high-fived each other and Josh continued to smirk. Drew gave a scowl and he immediately left the classroom, feeling the eyes of everyone on him. Saiyuri, after giving a quick glare at Josh, Kalli, and Leane, which silenced all three and caused each to look away from Saiyuri due to seeing her eyes turn a dark red, gave Anna an even harsher glare as she stood up and walked out of the classroom and mumbled as she walked passed Professor Fitzwilliam, "Sorry Professor, this won't take long.."

Sighing as the door shut behind her, she leaned against the wall and sunk to the floor, her hair a bit of a mess as it came loose from her bun and curled around her face. Drew smiled at the sight of her. Glaring with her dark red eyes, she inquired furiously, "What are you so happy about? We just got a new Professor furious with us.."

"Yes, but you looked adorable just then, you looked like a small child being repromanded for something silly. I coudn't help but smile," replied Drew softly as he glanced away.

Blushing Saiyuri sighed and buried her head in her knees, tears trickling from her eyes, "Why does this always happen to me... every time we start a new year, I always get us into trouble with one of the professors and get us detention.. I'm really sorry Drew.."

"Don't be, I don't mind having detention with Snape. Besides, all Anna and I are going to do is clean, fetch ingredients, and sort his potions. What can possibly go wrong? But Saiyuri, you're avoiding what we're out here for."

"I know.."

"Why is it so hard to believe that what I feel for you is not out of obligation to your family?"

"Because Drew.. that would mean that the love I have for you would be returned, and you know it's forbidden by my father to have any such feelings..."

"Maybe he would change his mind if we-"

"No, you know my father as well as I do. He already made it clear he wants me having no relationships until this is 'fixed'."

"Sai, come on, why don't we all just accept the fact that you're going to be like this for the rest of your life?! And why does it bother you so? As long as Snape keeps making the potions, there's nothing to fear! Besides Saiyuri, i've already seen you in the state you fear, and it hasn't made me love you any less."

"But it should!"

"Why?"

"Because it's a monstrous sight and you already take care of me, I couldn't possibly ask you to return any feelings."

"How can you ask for something that is given to you freely?"

"Drew... if you feel as you say you do, why did you push me away before?"

"Sai.. come on... I was nervous! It didn't seem as if you could possibly feel this way due to my being your guardian. I didn't think I had a right to have any claims on your feelings Saiyuri.. But you must know that from the bottom of my heart, I've loved you for quite some time."

"Yes.. but.."

"But what? What is there to argue about? I love you Saiyuri, the only question is, do you love me."

Looking up, her face tearstained and puffy, she laughed softly as she replied, "You're such a dummy.."

Drew smiled as he knelt in front of her, "That may be, but you still haven't answered my question."

Saiyuri looked up and Drew, her eyes fading from a dark red to an auburn color, simply smiled and stroked his cheek, "You know Drew, I never really noticed before, but your ears are considerably pointier than mine."

Laughing Drew kissed Saiyuri's forehead, "You are the most random girl I've ever met. But yes, your ears are smaller and a bit rounder than mine, but does this really have any relevance?"

"Not really, but it's simply what invaded my mind at the moment," laughing she kissed Drew softly on the lips before standing up, "Now you know my answer. Now will you quit pressing it?"

Taking her hand he shook his head, "Not unless you tell me that I have no fear of losing you to someone else."

"Always the worry wort. Of course you have no fear of losing me! I love you Drew, so don't worry so much," she added with a wink before slipping back into the classroom and taking her seat, followed by Drew, who after a few moments of thought, smiled and followed Saiyuri back into Fitzwilliam's classroom and took his seat beside Saiyuri.

Taking her wand as she sat down, Saiyuri immediately cast a spell that caused her face to fade back to normal, showing no trace of tears ever falling from her eyes.

Professor Fitzwilliam had taken no notice of the two re-entering the room, and instead, cheerfully continued her class; having taken one of the Hufflepuffs and one of the Gryffindors to the front of the room to demonstrate the effects of the spell - and it's use in dueling.

Anna was eagerly leaning forward, her eyes locked unto the wand movement. She only glanced to the side lightly as Saiyuri sat back down, but immediatly turned her attention back to the three people at the front of the room; eager to learn.

As Saiyuri turned to Anna and whispered, "What did I miss?", Drew did the same to Leane.

"Just some of the side effects," Anna whispers in return, not in the slightest planning on being distracted. "I'll hand you my notes after class?"

Though when the class ended, it seemed like that wouldn't be such an easy thing to accomplish. Not only had Professor Fitzwilliam taken to the subject with an overwhelming passion, she had issued them all to write an exstensive paper on the uses of the spell in a wizarding dual, both on the giving as the receiving end. Added to that came a research paper for Saiyuri and Drew on the topic they would handle next week.

As everyone poured out of the room, Anna surpressed a light laugh at most peoples' depressed faces. "Well, that sure was an interesting class!"

Saiyuri smiled, "Yes, but you're forgetting, you don't have to turn in the assignments due to not truely being in this class."

Kalli and Josh were both highly upset over the assignment for neither had taken very good notes. However, Leane, as always, promised to help them during their study time in the Great Hall after lunch.

As the group left the DA Classroom, Saiyuri slipped her hand into Drew's free hand as they walked. Due to walking in such a tight and large group, it was noticed by no one but themselves, or so they thought.

"So when are you two going to tell us what went on out there or what?" inquired Leane as she nudged Saiyuri's arm.

"Yeah, you two were out there for half the class, what happened?" added Kalli as she walked behind Saiyuri and Leane.

Josh, knowing he'd get the scoop from Kalli later, decided to hurry back to the common room, put his things down, and make his way to the Great Hall for lunch.

Kalli laughed as she watched Josh run off in a hurry, "That boy always cares more about his stomache than anything else on this planet."

Drew chuckled and commented that she had better either get a House Elf who was a good cook or learn to cook herself. Kalli only smiled and stuck her tongue out, "I'm still not giving up on finding out what happend out there, Anna, help persuade them to tell us!" Kalli pleaded as she ran over to Anna and took her arm.

Laughing in reply, Anna patted Kalli's arm, "Don't you think I caused enough havoc for one day? I mean, I got them both extra homework!" Winking teasingly - and having noticed the linked hands - Anna pointedly ignores the others curiosity by offering, "Why don't we study together this afternoon? I took pretty good notes on Fitzwilliams class, too. And while I don't -have- to turn in the homework, I think I will, anyway."

He knew he shouldn't... but still, Fynn eavesedropped unto their conversation, walking behind them in the stream of pupils heading towards the great hall.

Saiyuri smiled, "That would be perfect. Which table shall we sit at? We already broke the rule by sitting together this morning at breakfast, so why not during lunch and study time as well?"

Leane laughed, "Sai, we're not having a good influence on you! What happened to the Ravie who always cautions us when it comes to official rule breaking?"

"How about we sit at the Huffie table? Less likely to cause trouble with everyone else there," answered Kalli.

"I dunno, bored I guess! And that sounds perfect Kalli. It's settled, we shall meet at the Hufflepuff table once lunch is over. As for what happened in the hall, Drew and I simply talked of what had been going on since school began," with a blush, she told them all that had occured between them in a hushed manner as they walked back to their Dormitories. Upon finishing the story, they all split up and made their way to their common rooms. Saiyuri smiled at Drew as they entered the common room. Vanora, who had been following the couple, jumped up on Saiyuri's shoulder and licked Saiyuri's ear.

Drew and Saiyuri parted ways as they went to their dormitories and set their books down, Saiyuri's on her empty bed, Drew's on his bookshelf. Saiyuri, first to finish, quickly made her way down to the Great Hall and, after having put Vanora to bed in her basket, took her usual place at the Ravenclaw table. Josh, seeing Saiyuri come in, walked over from the Slytherin table and sat down opposite of her and smirked.

"What?" inquired Saiyuri with a smile.

"You and Drew, that's all. Never thought it would actually happen."

"Who said it did?"

"Come on Sai, it was obvious by how happy you both were upon coming into the DA room!"

Saiyuri simply smiled as Drew came in and sat beside her, "What are you two talking about?"

"Just about how you and your girlfriend made out in a broom closet."

"Josh! That isn't funny!"

Drew laughed, "You dolt."

Josh, laughing as well, teased Saiyuri as they awaited Leane, Kalli, and Anna -- the former two of the three appearing only a few minutes later.

At first Anna had planned on simply carrying her book bag along - figuring they would need it for the study session after lunch. But since everyone had ended up bringing it away, Anna had complied.

When she returned from her bedroom - where her three, still nameless roommates had actively been arguing about some cute guy in Ravenclaw - she was stopped in the common room by Fynn's angry glare. "You need to choose your friends more wisely." Anna rolled her eyes in more than just minor annoyance. "Saiyuri told me to choose my friends wisely, too. Why does everyone think I need advice when it comes to people?" Placing her hand on her hip, she shakes her head lightly at Fynn - too cheerful about her coupling scheme working out to really be mean.

"You don't have to worry yourself with me, Fynn. I like Josh, Kalli, Leane, Drew and Saiyuri - though I've only known them for a day. It's not like I'll end up becoming a delinquent or getting myself into constant trouble." He snorts in reply, not believing it. "You just snuck into a class, while you already have a detention today! How is that not getting into constant trouble?!" Giggling lightly, Anna nods, the light in her eyes dancing cheerfully, "True, I'm not making such a good start. But really, don't worry about me. Before you'll know it, I'll be hardly even visible." The twinkle leaves her eyes at this, but she remains smiling.

About five minutes after Leane and Kalli join the group, so does Anna. "Sheesh," she sighs, plopping down next to Josh, "Today has been so tiring already."

Peering around Josh, Kalli inquires, "How so? We've only been to two classes, and these are the easier ones!"

Chuckling Josh added, "You haven't been to Potions yet, Snape'll give ya hard time if you don't measure properly. He'll say 'Potions are not to be rushed or tampered with. If you do not follow the instructions to a T then you will surely end up either killing yourself or the person to whom the potion is being administered.' Poppy cock as far as I'm concerned."

"Then it's a good thing you're nothing thinking of taking up a career in Potions then huh! I'd hate for you to be the one who made the potion I was forced to take due to an illness! I might lose a limb!" teased Leane before taking a sip from her goblet.

Josh rolled his eyes and flung a small piece of ham at Leane.

Saiyuri stuck her tongue out at Josh before teasing him, "Now you know how I felt!"

Flinging a small piece of ham at Saiyuri, he retorted, "Shut up Sai. You're just mad I found out about your and Drew's little make out session!"

"You liar!" Saiyuri said as she threw a roll at Josh.

Throwing it back he smirked, "Am not!"

"Oo, Sai and Drew already having a little session? When was this?" asked Leane as she nudged Saiyuri in the side.

Throwing the roll at Leane, Saiyuri laughed, "Don't encourage him!"

"Alright alright, no need to abuse me with rolls jeeze!" laughed Leane before taking a bite out of the roll.

Looking over at Drew, Kalli smirked, "Well, it must be true Lee, Drew has yet to deny it!"

"Hey, leave me out of it!"

"But it's true, you haven't! So therefore it must be true," Kalli added with a wink.

Drew rolled his eyes as he smiled and took a bite of the Grilled Cheese sandwhich on his plate.

Laughing cheerfully, Anna relaxed a bit more - easily putting Fynn out of her mind - while not replying to Kalli's question. After all, she'd hardly gotten any sleep that night.
"It looks like you and I need to hook up, Leane," Anna jokes, moving her eyebrows suggestively, "Seeing as how the others are all paired up." She takes off her glasses and winks at the black-haired girl from across the table, before putting it back on.

"But you know, potions sounds kind of fun. It's something that requires patience and precision."

Leane laughed and teased, "We should, should we. I'll think about it," she added before sticking her tongue out and pulling at the bottom of her right eye. Laughing she smiled as she finished her roll and nudged Saiyuri, "Sai, you haven't touched a thing, aren't you hungry?"

"Not overly, would it make you happy if I ate something though?"

"Yes!"

Laughing, Saiyuri took a bite of her turkey sandwhich, "You sound like my mother."

"Well, someone's gotta look after ya while you're here! If someone doesn't make sure ya eat, who knows how long you'll go without thinking about it?"

Josh laughed, "Lee, you're being dramatic."

"But it's true though! Remember last year? Sai was so caught up in her work and all those books that she didn't eat for 3 days! All she had was Pumpkin Juice, milk, and water!" added Kalli.

"Oh come off it, it wasn't three days, more like three meals!" commented Drew.

"Whatever, same thing," retorted Kalli as she threw a small piece of her roll at him.

Popping it into his mouth he smiled, "So what's on your mind Sai, you're quiet."

"Nothing really, just trying to figure out how I'm possibly going to have time for all this homework, plus get to work on the new books we got in! I really don't want to neglect them after making Anna go get them for us.."

"Then don't go home." It was an impulsive comment, since she'd hardly been paying attention - being overtly busy trying to look for the cute Ravenclaw guy her roommates had been talking about - but the moment she said it, she knew it was a good idea. Anna tilted her head lightly as she regarded Saiyuri from the corner of her eyes, her brown eyes hardly visible behind the bright orange frames. "I mean, I know there are reasons for you to go home. But..." she glances at Drew, and manages only a minimal grin. "Now there are more reasons to stay then ever."

With a teasing laugh, she turns her face entirely to the older girl, grinning as she adds, "Not to mention that you're completely monopolizing my time! Wasn't I supposed to cause a ruckus in this school?"

Saiyuri looked at Anna, "B-but I.. My parents are expecting me.. I can't just change the plans now.. I've already packed and gotten all of the assignments... it would make me seem a liar to everyone if I didn't go!"

Leane and Kalli looked at each other and then at Drew as they sighed.

"I'm not getting into it. If she feels she needs to be at home for a few months, don't think i'm going to try and force her to stay. It's her decision," Drew said cooly as he finished his Grilled Cheese sandwhich.

Shrugging lightly - but obviously dissapointed - Anna looks away again, eyes searching the Ravenclaw table, "Fine for me. It was just a suggestion. Of course," she starts after a little pause, "You could just go for a week or two and then return. But that's just a thought."

Idly, she pushes her food away - not having touched her salad - before turning to Leane. "Maybe you know who the 'new cute guy in Ravenclaw' is - new, being, cuter than he was last year. My roommates were gossiping about it; and it'd be easy to do some bonding during the evening while disgussing guys."

Saiyuri smiled, realizing just how much everyone would miss her during her absence, "I'll talk to my parents and see what they think is best."

Drew groaned, "Are they coming to pick you up?"

Laughing Saiyuri shook her head, "No! Of course not!"

"Good, I'd hate to have to try and explain us to them.."

"What's to explain?"

"Hmm.. let's see... the fact that your parents don't exactly like me and think that I get you into trouble every year isn't exactly a good thing!"

"Oh come on. Carter and Tom like you! That's more than enough credit for my parents."

Drew rolled his eyes and took a sip of his pumpkin juice.

"You'll write won't you? Even though you don't think my parents will approve?" turning to the rest of the group she added, "All of you? You'll all write?"

Leane nodded, "Of course we will you nimrod! What kind of friends do you think we are?" turning to Anna she smiled, "And that depends, which year of girls are we talkin'?"

"Hmm," Anna smiles lightly at Saiyuri, a very doubtful expression on her face. "I'm not sure about that writing thing, though..." She sticks out her tongue teasingly, then turns back to Leane. "My year - so the guy is probably in fourth year or up. I'm thinking they were talking about a blonde guy, but I'm not sure... They were swooning about his Northern looks, at least."

Saiyuri smiled after repeating Leane's teasing actions and slipped her hand into Drew's, whose hand was resting on his thigh.

Kalli and Leane looked at each other and then at Anna as they exclaimed at the same time, "Klophskey?!"

Saiyuri, a bit taken a back, "No, can't be him! The blonde hair-blue eyed 4th year from Finland? Can't be him! You sure he's blonde? They may have been talking about the Irish 6th year, he's definitely worth gossiping over!"

Drew rolled his eyes as Saiyuri blushed, "Or so I hear, I mean."

Laughing, Kalli and Leane teased Saiyuri for a little bit before turning back to Anna, "Does Liam O'Reily or Keven Klophskey sound familiar?"
