Police investigate a suspicious death of a man. They enter his apartment and find it empty and him dead, hanging by a rope in the middle of the room. The room is sweltering hot so much that the corpse smells D:, and the floor is very damp. The police officer rules it an obvious suicide, but the detective corrects him and says murder. How?
