Jake sat on a bench outside of the school, for him people at his school weren't allowed to come in at the time. So he knew he was there early. He paid no attention to anyone around him so he just poped in his headphones and listen to his friend's MP3.

She had scrambled to get up and stopped when she saw his school. She realized at that point that she had passed it every day. She was breathing slightly faster than usual from the run but she was in good shape due to the gym class requirement. "Hey," she said with a grin.

"hm?" Jake looked up and smiled. He took out the headphones and went up to her " Oh hi!" he fixed his hair a bit and then smiled again " didn't expect to see you passing by.."

"Didn't expect to pass by either but I really gotta get going because I'm late to school," she said with a smile. "I'll see you later though!" She ran away after that being careful not to trip.

" Oh ok bye!" he yelled and watched her until he couldn't see her anymore then the school bell ring and he was headed off to class

She had gotten to class at least five minutes late because she'd fallen when she was out of sight of the school. As usual the teacher scolded her for a good two minutes before allowing her to sit down.

Jake went into class and sat in his original seat thinking about her. He soon fell asleep again and then go in trouble with the teacher

After she was allowed to sit down her best friend from school leaned over and passed her a note. It was apparently from a guy that was in one of the academic clubs and still managed to play a sport. She groaned slightly due to the fact she'd told this person a million times that she was not interested.

Soon a couple of hours school was coming to a end. Jake sat there in his class staring at the big clock on the wall. 'come on go faster' he thought to himself

Alessandra was also staring at the clock. She was going to be out of school in a few minutes now. As soon as the bell rang to dismiss them she jumped up and ran out the door. Her excitement was peculiar since she had no clue why she was excited, she rarely acted like this. She started running towards the other school after that, hoping that she would catch him before he went home.

When Jake heard the bell ring he ran out of the class and then soon out of the school building. He didn't know why he was running but then he remembered. ' Alessandra..' He didn't know why he didn't call her by her nick name. He started running in the direction of her school.

Alessandra had gotten half-way between the two schools when she ran into someone. It was a slightly frightening looking man and he grinned at her. She had the habit of running into trouble like this occasionally and she began to slowly back away.

"It's all right young lady," the man said. "I don't mean you no harm. Here let me buy you a drink and help you calm your nerves."

there was something odd about him that made her want to get away from him. She was hoping someone she knew would come pass by and the save the day for her, again. She tried to inch away but he grabbed her backpack and therefore making it impossible to get away.

Jake kept running until he saw two people ahead. He ran close now to see it was Alessandra and some other guy. " Hey?!" Jake ran up to them and saw the look on Alessandra's face. Then he turned to the creepy guy " Do you mind letting go of her backpack it looks like she needs to go someplace." He grabbed the guy's arm and threw it down off of her backpack.

She stumbled forward slightly before turning to look at the two. The guy looked angry for the most part but by the look on his face she could tell he'd probably be in major trouble if he got in a fight. The man turned after that and left.

"Thank you very very much," Alessandra said. She was still shaking slightly.

" Hey know problem." Jake smiled " I'm pretty sure your safe now." He flipped his hair out of his left eye and then began to walk with Alessandra.

The incident had bothered her only a slight amount but seeing him was an interest of hers. She didn't exactly like him but she considered him interesting. She wondered at that moment what exactly they would do since usually she went somewhere fairly expensive with her friends merely because she could. She seemed stuck for a moment but then continued walking.

"Do you mind if you walk me home occasionally," she asked. "I have a tendency to run into people like that after school."

Jake looked at Alessandra and smiled " Sure! I mean ha, just call me your body guard!" Jake didn't want to sound like one of those creepy weird stalker dudes so he pretended to act normal and not to impress her with his lame talk lines. Yes she was very attractive, but come to think of it he knew absolutely nothing about her.

Yet then he was puzzled on where to go next usually he would just walk home or someplace. After a long moment of thinking and gave out ideas.

" Hey want to go walk around in the park by the lake or go to the coffee shop and chat or-" he was thinking of another place they could go to.

"Lake?" she asked a bit surprised, she'd never been down the lake because she was told from an early age that it was a dangerous place. "Isn't going to the park dangerous though. I could get kidnapped or worse!"

Of course she didn't know that the park was a perfectly fine place. She would call Jake her body guard from now on just as a little joke. She had a few people that considered themselves her body guards but one had moved away and the other was distracted by his girlfriend in the school parking lot at the present moment.

Jake smiled at Alessandra's respond " Both the lake and the park are a perfectly safe place...I promise if anything happens to you i'll morph into KUNFO JAKE!" he smiled again.

He kinda got the Idea that she was afraid to go to the park or at least the lake. But then yet shocked that she would think that...

"Oh," she said as she cocked her head slightly to the side, making some of her loose hair fall in her face. She looked curious and jumped back slightly when he said he'd morph into something. The lake and park were apparently safe, but maybe they weren't safe at night. She'd get home before dark as always, please her parents beyond their own imagination.

Jake flipped his hair out of his left eye and smiled " ha I'm kidding come on." He began to walk with alessandra to the park by the lake.

"Kidding?" she asked innocently. "So you mean that if you see me in trouble again then I'll get taken away by those creeps?" She had a shy expression, it was almost a pure act but she had a tendency of doing these types of things when she was nervous.

" OH NO NEVER! I was just kidding about morphing into kunfo jake....I don't know karate at all...." noticing that she was a little nervous it was best for jake to get her home before it gets too dark.

"OH," she said nodding her head slightly.

She was looking around the park with a slight interest though it wasn't enough to captivate her. It was about five or six pm right now and she wasn't realizing it. Her back pack was lighter than usual because she'd taken a few tests today. They relieved her of her homework duties on test days. She had some latin homework to do though.

"I hate this uniform," she said after a moment as she tugged the skirt down a little bit.

Jake looked at Alessandra's school uniform "hm...well it looks nice on you!" He didn't want to say anything too uncomfortable for her " come on!" he grabbed her hand and ran down to the lake stopping just before falling into the lake. There was a mom duck with 4 little ducklings behind it.
