Apparently the space station toilet is broken. I don't know weather to laugh or cry at those poor astronauts. It's just the 'urine collecting' part so they can still do other business for now. Poor guys can't even go outside...

it would be hilarious if they did go outside. they could always go in the airlock, and then open it to let the piss out into space..... XD would that work? probably not, but still.

Who knows what they'll come up with? I believe before the special toilet was invented they went in baggies and it was disposed of upon reentry.

Why not just pee in baggies again, and then throw them out into space? It'd be funny on the news, if people on earth got pelted by pee bags. But then they'd prolly just burn up in the atmosphere... Still, it'd be funny.

In there nothing useless has a space. With the toilet I don't know if they would even have baggies as back up. I hope they do, but I doubt it. About the only thing I can think of would be to reuse food storage containers...

The article said they are using a bag like system that can be attached to the toilet for now, I would hate to be the one who had to collect that, eww. At least it's only urine.

urine wouldn't be that bad to collect except for the fact that it stinks. As long as it's in a bag and it isn't touching my hands, body or clothing I think I'd survive a collection round.. now if it was a big ole pile of poo.. *shudders* you couldn't pay me enough to do that.

It'd be cool to pee in space, as long as you didn't get hit by it. <_< But having liquid float around in the air would be the coolest thing to see ever. =D

I know it would be impossible because the piss would evaporate when it hit the earth's atmosphere. But wouldn't it be hella funny, if that's how it rained?
