Josh and I talked him into upping our connection to 1500kbps ADSL with a 25gb download limit.

He likes a fast connection, yet didn't even realise when we'd been shaped down to 64kbps, to check his email with!

He gets huffy if he can't check his email...

... otherwise he doesn't really know how to use a computer.

He keeps asking me to help with itunes *shrug* I've never even used it lol.

do what i do, tell him 'first ares, then itunes'

if he's got the music all he needs to do is drag and drop the files, if he's looking to download he needs to go to apple.com and create an itunes account so he can buy files from the itunes store within itunes when he's online.

is he too stupid to read apple's directions? lmao

He bought an LCD and just could not work it out because of the cabling and what not.

He comes and asks Josh and I for help. My response is "have you read the manual?", obviously the answer is no.
Instead of helping I took the manual, opened the correct page and gave it to him :D

You're most welcome, and I don't think I'd ever want to stray away from adobe products. I don't know why but I'm insanely attached to mine. Probably because they're so easy to use?

The strangest thing about Gimp is that it doesn't have a 'background' of sorts.. you know how if you open Photoshop with no image open its just grey?
With Gimp you get the toolbar and then the desktop so the toolbars kinda float.
It's ok unless you have a huge image to work with.

that would drive me nuts. the only program i use other than adobe is ms paint for random pixelling

I think I'll keep Gimp, maybe this time around I'll learn how to use it properly :D Rather than my randomness with Photoshop.

just different codes I can pass out to people to spread around. People without codes can't register so no trolls can get into my blog. I learned a long time not to open my registration without some form of blockage.

Do any of you know of a website that would be able to change your gif image to have transparency? I only have Paint on this laptop and don't currently have access to my PSP or Photoshop which is on my PC.

That's what Comotized and I were speaking about earlier, GIMP is a Photoshop alternative if you're able to download something.

Unfortunately, I haven't worked out the transparency (maybe you can.. and show me how hehe).

If it needs to be a site I've never heard of anything like that but I can help you look :)

On the blogged.com front I sorted out the blog stuff... the default info is weird though haha and where does the 'editors review' grading come from?

actually, there's a much smaller tool you can download for transparency which is called giffy. It's super quick, and super small so it takes up next to zilch in hard drive space.
