Gonna slot myself in on some action, and agree on the whole EIs being released too quick
It really turned me off donating to the shop. It's just going down hill for me. I remember
seeing an old Admin, or a Global Mod, i can't remember... I checked her profile - and she had
been sacked basically... It really made my faith drop in the team after that.

All the announcements are getting too much. and lastly they have wayyy too many event
items now. Not really a biggy, in the bigger picture of what's happening to the site. But it's
just a pet peeve ^^;; Thank goodness they thought about the Grombies for once! and have
that potion to change grombies back >.<

@Platinum ~ That sucks. To put in all that effort and then be banned.

I mostly stay around Gaia cause I have an insatiable urge to collect pixels. :B It's the same with here.

@Nivvy ~ Yeah, a whole bunch of new evolving items came out one after the other. And if you're the kind of person that wants them all that's a lot of gold to shell out in the market place or a lot of real money to shell out for Gaia Cash. Kinda makes you dizzy. @[email protected]

That's all they want and all they seem to care about. Unfortunately they got too big too fast and lost the integrity of the site, along with a bunch of the older members that were there in the beginning. But for everyone of us that doesn't visit anymore, 10 take our place so they don't care since their bottom line (money) just keeps expanding because the parents of these kids pay for the pixels that they don't really own. Strange, really.

I totally agree. There were so many times I saw an older member announcing they were leaving for good or going on a hiatus but never saying for how long because they didn't know for how long. I still get urges to leave. Just sell all my things, or give them away, and just leave. My only hope is the battle system, which shows only minimal signs of coming our way. If it doesn't come by the end of the year I'm just going to leave all my avis naked and leave. It's just not as fun as it used to be. I hope Mene fairs better. I really do. The people here are so nice >w<

I keep holding out for the day that Fflur decides she is tired of gaia and quits, because she promised me her Panda hat and damn it! I love that thing. *sigh* Makes me just kind of sad and pathetic.

I love it too. She has the nightmare scarf I want badly too but I'll never see that along with all the other things I wanted. I totally agree with your posts. Way to much money hungry there.

Indeed, it does make one dizzy, with the amount of updates they have in their cash shop. It is a lot of gold, and the inflation is just far too hard to combat with. Although every site with it's own currency will go that way, it's super annoying when it gets that bad. Lols. If you don't have the gold, then you end up shelling the money up front, and yeah. I once donated to help Gaia out, now i just can't stand being there more than 10 minutes.

With the skin release now, people are starting to corner grombies, and lunge their teeth into that whole arguement, on why grombies get special treatment. Raddy raddy rahh. It doesn't make it easy having people who don't even know you - commenting on how you must be an elitist brat, just because you're a grombie. People on there are all about gimme, gimme, gimme. Oh, i love your avatar by the way xD;;

I like some of the rares on there (and I mean the really rares), but after a while I found I don't really feel like questing for them like I feel like questing for things here. The stuff here's so pretty that it overshadows Gaia's who-knows-how-many items.

You know what annoys me about Gaia.
Their response times. Like today for instance, this guy was being a real ass in my thread. He refused to leave even though i kindly put him on the Blacklist. I asked him several times but he continued to argue with me. I reported him twice to get him thread banned, and so did many of my mods. And guess what! He's still parading around in my thread! Wtf is up with that???! Especially when they get onto people posting hacking threads asap or when i disturbed a sale in the exchange and got thread banned almost immediately.

Gaia angers me ... and it's sad i use to love that site. Now it's gone to the pits and i want to kick it! :cry:

Yeah the community is in such a state of turmoil, it must be hard for them to
do anything on time. But still, it sucks. Maybe you can ignorelist him? Tell everybody
in your thread to ignorelist him, and his efforts to disrupt everything won't be an issue
because he'll be invisible to you all ^^. Yep, i feel the same way. Gaia was my love too
