I just made my quest thread and my commons is all ready a bit out dated because I was too lazy to put everything that I wanted on it. xD Also they just had that store update and I haven't added any of the new items to my list yet. But again, I'm a bit too lazy to do it right now.

But like you I want to focus on all the EIs and CIs that I want before I bother with my commons list again. Once I get them all then it's time to start on the commons. xD

Ya, most people get those items first because they usually rise in value.

Yeah, I figure it's a good strategy. If everyone has it, it has to be good, right? xD No, but seriously like you said those are the items that raise in value you can pretty much ignore the commons. They aren't going any where or rising in value at all.

I love the steampunk additions to the stores. ;3;

I'm kind of working on both at once, commons and specials, thanks to the raffle.

My parents and the school discount, LOL

Here's how it works:
Tuition at OTIS (in caps, but it doesn't stand for anything) is 30K a year, so they really try to find cheap stuff for us and all that. The supplies I bought would have been almost 600 if it wasn't for the school providing for discounts. The store is 2 blocks away from the school, and they are very kind to students because the school is kind to them, providing them with extra merchandise to sell. So we the students get 200 dollars off at that particular store~

So opening up the kit and the huge portfolio was like having an early birthday present~

but my parents paid for it, haha. I feel bad for mooching but I just don't want to apply for a job if I don't know I'll have time for it!

lol I'm thinking about majoring in studio arts now too... but man lol there's no way my parents would support me if they have to pay that much for stuff..

I actually had to buy my first supplies for my art class this year, so I guess that's a sign? *has no clue*

I love art, I'm just not the best at it..

Hey everyone!!

O wow that is a ton of art supplies! It's great to have a discount like that, and study in something that you really have a passion for.
I am probably going to study in science courses in university and see where that takes me. I like drawing for fun, but I am not dedicated enough to become good at it D:

I gotta tell you, it FELT like a ton, LOL. Pretty heavy to carry home. Especially the damned portfolio. Oh jeez.

I hope you find an area that you're happy with. People kept telling me to be a doctor or a lawyer because of my GPA. I said "no thanks". It really isn't my thing.

We're pretty lucky, in that the first three years of tuition we get most supplies
given to us. Like paint sets, and brushes, we do need to purchase a fair bit of stuff
but we do get a lot given to us. I've just been doing ceramics, and they supplied all
my clay. I was like O_O;; So i've been going through bagloads xD;;

Lucky Sheeples~I wish I could get most of my stuff for free. They didn't ask us to buy paints though, so I'm guessing they have those there. (Otherwise, shame on them for not telling us, haha!)
