I don't name my dragons until they're adults, so I'm sure they'll live

I do the same with most pets, so yea. The only pet I've named when I wasn't sure it would live is my hermit crab in RL. I've had him for three years, though.

I knew my Laur could evolve. I was just training her a bit before I evolved her so I had less work to do. xD.

I still haven't gotten one on the gather eggs page. But i have yet to get a 3rd orbit either (i try to get as many of my favorite ones as possible).

I name my dragons as soon as they hatch because it's better for them to have names while they're getting views and stuff. once they're adults, not as many people will be looking at them anymore.
Sometimes, however, this leads to me giving males very feminine names and vise versa.

So I've gotten three Mystery Boxes tonight. The first two were a bust (coins), but lo and behold, the third time was the charm and I got another Lazuli egg! Hurray!

EDIT: Make that FOUR Mystery Boxes in three hours, resulting now in TWO Lazuli eggs. My eyes won't even function right anymore. *squint*

PayPal hates me right now. It won't let me donate to UniCreatures, so I can't get an Eclipse. TT^TT Oh well... *sigh*

my geode is going to grow in another day and my split will hatch. i have no more dragons to put in my sig, obviously, since breeding is disabled. i wonder how much longer it will be disabled.

I hate it when I can't sleep. Which is all the time. <.<

i'm trying to get my Lazuli egg to evolve 'cuz it's the closest and i have 5 eggs thanks to the exalted zappa that just had to show up. It's my first exalted or noble one.
