:-D!
It's a nifty item~

It sorta defeats the purpose of asking someone 'How are you?' if the person being asked doesn't have a decent reply. D: SO I MUST RISE TO THE CHALLENGE AND MAKE IT WORTHWHILE!

[/bored]

Dum dee dum~ So how has your day been? C: Entertain me! (Even if you have to BS a story about saving a damsel in repressed distress who had an upset stomach...) ;>

repressed distress?
does that mean she IS in distress but is trying to be in dial about it?

I don't know. I did something this morning that seemed like a good thing to do, and now I'm worried it was really just kinda creepy.

I took the collar my kitty died in and put it around the neck of a build-a-bear that I had made while she was still alive that looks sorta like her. then I took the stone from her grave that I had taken and painted blue with a cross and glory rays on it, and stuffed that into the stuffie. and then I took several of the pictures of her from various times in our life together and put them in the stuffie too. Then I closed the back and have her sitting on my monitor where she used to take a nap.

what do you think?
I'm going to take a quick shower. but I'll be right back.

I think that's endearing. (:
It's definitely a sweet and well-thought-out thing to do, in my opinion. Especially if it'll help you move on yet remember her all the same.

I can see where you would think it's creepy, but I don't think it's all that creepy. xD The closest thing in the situation to 'creepy' would be the collar, but that's still not on the creeper scale. P:

I think it's a great way to commemorate her. :>

I'm sorry! I hope you are still here! I ended up being gone longer than I thought because I stepped on a tack!

Yeah, I know the collar part is kinda creepy, but I needed to take it, you know? she died around Christmas, but her birthday is a few days after Halloween and that is too close and just too much for me right now.

Posting my pets again before going to bed.
My DC hatchling is being super slow now. It hatched really fast, and I'm not doing anything different and it's refusing to grow it's wings. Maybe when I check back in the morning, it will have gendered. Maybe the new blue ones are as laye to gender as the frills.

I've noticed that most of the time if a hatchling is slow to grow up, it's usually a boy.

Are we going to start a conversation now that boys mature much more slowly XD
I think my waterhorse took forever to gender too. I can't remember if the female took less time though.

OH! I didn't even think about that! maybe they did that on purpose to show the similarity between boy dragons maturing and boy people maturing!!!!

true. but a lot of them are in serous denial. I know my ex-husband was very immature but just couldn't see it in himself.

I wouldn't say every boy matures slowly - nor would I say every girl matures faster than boys. It all varies case to case, in my opinion.

Physically speaking, it varies; mentally speaking, it varies. Emotionally, well... Hardly anyone is emotionally mature these days, at any age! P:<

very true.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! why won't my son listen to me?!?!?! he's on his meds! I'm gonna have to bring this up to his doctor tomorrow. I shouldn't have to say leave it alone this many times! and by the time I have finally had enough and yell to leave it alone he starts crying. good grief.

facade-- I'm not saying every. Just by mass majority, males mentally mature slower than females. I know there are exceptions. My sister is fourteen who thinks she is eighteen and acts three >_> And I have come across mature boys . . . maybe two.

This town proves that both can be very immature. Both boys and girls are the worst here. I'm glad I wasn't born here. You'd be lucky if you found a dozen mature kids in school. But out of the immature ones, the boys are even more immature.

everybody here always asks, "so, how long have you lived here?"
"um, about 7 years."
"oh, cool. so do you know so-and-so that I went to school here with?"
"um, no."
what do they think a person who moves into a town does? take a census of everybody in and around town and go out and meet them just in case somebody in the future ever asks me if I know that person?
