my son is mad at me. he has diarrhea and can't go to school but he wants to.

I'm sad, the snow that fell this morning is melting. :cry:

for all it looked and smelled like snow last night, we got no snow at all.

Aw that sucks for your son. I remember that age where I was sad if I couldn't go to school.

Apparently we had a good amount when my dad was up at 4, and then we had some on the ground when I was up at 9. Now at 11 it's melted. :(
Hopefully it snows tonight when my boyfriend comes over. We love the snow. A LOT.
He even wrote a poem about it.. That last I knew I'm in it.

aww poetry! I wrote a lot of poetry in high school.

I love it, he plays the guitar for one thing, and I love reading poetry. Can't really write it, but I love reading his. ^^ He loves writing it. Though he hasn't been recently.

Not snowing here yet, but it is on it's way....not sure I am ready for snow....But I love it all the same.

@ Serena- I do the same thing all the time, I get so worried that I made him mad that sometimes if I push it I only make it worse. I have learned, after a while, that if I gave him a little while to calm down everything turns out ok. Oddly enough I had the same thing happen with my BF last night, I let it go because I know he needs his time to calm down and he called a bit ago and we are getting together tonight to watch NCIS. Hope it works out well for you too!

Love poetry, I have binders full of things I wrote when I was in highschool...I really should go through them and see what I have in there. ^_^

@Lixlaria: yeah. I usually give him some time. I sent him an e-mail last night before I went to bed. When I woke up today, I sent him a text message on the phone about the snow. Didn't send anything else till he sent me a message back "mhm" (was what he sent) I sent him one not long afterwards (about the snow melting :( that ABC is showing the Charlie Brown special tonight, hopefully it snows later and mom has the cigarettes she bought for him at the reservation sunday. And one just now about banana bread I made last night that I hope he'll like it when he has some later)
I don't pester him much about stuff. I would call him but he has to go to work today, his shift is at noon and it's almost 1130. We'll talk either when he's on break he calls or he'll text maybe, and then when he comes home we'll talk for a bit before he usually comes over. I hope he comes over, my dad has a meeting tonight. ^^

aww. they haven't started with the Christmas cartoons over here yet.

I know that feeling. It seems to be what happens to everyone who has a boyfriend. My boyfriend gets so upset when he doesn't give me time to explain things. Like one time, i told him that we'll have to stick together when he comes to visit me in march, because we won't have phones. and he was like "why do you always hurt my feelings?" and I had no idea what he was talking about, and when he explained, it turned out he took what i said as "I don't want you to stay with me and would rather you stay somewhere else than at my house, but you have to stay with me because we won't have phones" instead of what i actually said. I was really mad at him, I was like "dude, actually listen to me and stop taking everything i say out of context."

and it snowed here yesterday, but there was hardly any on the ground this morning. But I was so happy anyway that it was snowing. at first i looked out the window and thought "wow, the rain is really slow" and saw that it ws snow. then there got to be more snow that couldn't be mistaken for slowly falling rain.

Yeah, when he stays home from work, we talk online. And he was talking about something concerning us, future, what he wants to do, what he needs to do, bringing things into perspective, I thought he was breaking up with me and was paranoid, said something and he didn't think I understood what he was saying, I said something that was basically repeating what he said. He mentioned that was basically what he said idk nvm. I apologized and when I did he just said "it's ok, I'm going to bed, sleep well" I did my normal saying for him to sleep well, did an action of hugging him, hope he slept well and had a good day at work. His response was just "yeah, night"

I didn't sleep well last night, I've texted him on the phone and he's responded to one of them (the first one) I know I don't have much to worry about that I'm just being paranoid. I'm hoping he understands it was just a simple misunderstanding at 1230am last night.
About the texts, I didn't expect him to respond to the other ones I sent after he responded because he was getting ready for work. and now he's at work. Hopefully he texts or calls me when he's on break. :S

sorry, I was on the phone doing my million of calls for today. seeing what needs to be canceled and what I am still going to and if I need a babysitter at certain times or not. I'm gonna have to get some real clothes on here pretty soon.

@ Serena- I use to do that all the time with my BF too. Typing things out on a computer or in a text, it is so much harder to convey an idea in text, especially when it is an emotional conversation.

@Lixlaria: Yeah. It's a good way to keep in touch when he's home or when one of us is away at school. But we got into so many fights because of it. I'm happy I have a microphone now for my computer that just need to hook up so when I go back to school in either january or next august, we won't have as many issues as we did at first. I really hope everything is ok. I want him to come over tonight so we can hang out and spend some time together and talk if he'd like to. And hopefully it'll be good talk and not bad. But considering he responded to my text, I'm hoping it shows everything will be ok. ^^'

well, it seems that this is the sort of cold going around. crazy, right? that nearly a whole down would suddenly get the same cold? or maybe it's only people with kids ... little germ carrying monsters! ;)

Email or texting can get so out of hand with misunderstandings...

yeah, it's easy to misunderstand something while talking online.

The problems i'm having with mine also have to do with future plans and stuff. We're eventually going to have to split up, whether we like it or not, so every time we talk about our future plans, one of us gets mad.

Don't worry Serena, i'm sure it will pass. Men tend to get mad over nothing more often, but their anger evaporates really quick, but women tend to be the exact opposite.

@everyone about the boyfriend thing: Yeah. I see the points made. Things are good. ^^ He called me to check up on me because I've had issues with the insurance company and still don't have health insurance. >.< That and a group of people from work are going to a arcade tonight to play DDR and he wanted to know if I wanted to. :D Yes, DDR and he gets to show me off. :)
