Well, now that that's out of my system, stage two can now begin. In two days, I shall use my Vampire to turn my Black Dragon's egg (if they have one when I breed them) into a vampy egg, and then use influence on it to make it a girl.

After which, all my it'll be 1 Vampire egg to the AP, and one to my scroll, Male or Female one after the other. Who want's to play "Darkest of Soul's 'Get a Vampy Dragon that uses your name' Game!!" *theme music*

Also, once I get a few of them, I'll start sending them to people around here too :D

I caught my girl off the AP by chance, and had her bite a frilled egg. Then I influenced the eggie to be male. So with luck, I'll have a male vamp in a few days. . . . and another bite. >3 I shall have an army of 32 vamps! So that I can have even gender numbers and a bite every day of the month. ^.^ ~ <3

You can influence the genders? How?

Pink Dragons. They have a special ability to influence eggs to be their gender.

Well. . . . I got my Ice during the Christmas craze. I was in the AP instead of the main cave. Also, the cave is on EST/-5 MGT, so if you go into the cave/Abandoned Page when it's night in the USA. . . . you are competing against fewer people.

But given how EVERYONE wants a CB (Cave Born) dragon, your best bet is to swallow your pride--if you like them more too--and stalk the AP late at night/early in the morning USA time when fewer users are on.

Other than that. . . . keep a sharp eye out and always stay on whatever egg position you pick, because odds are if you have to move your curser to get the egg, it's already gone. . . .

Less likely during the 'off hours', but not much leeway is added. . . . Got my Adult vamp because of it, but yeah. . . . Luck is always a major factor.

I'm more looking for a gold myself... but I REALLY want my Deep-Sea to make it!

Ugh, golds. . . . That takes massive amounts of luck, as everyone wants them, and even fast connections can't help if you don't know it's there to be clicked on.

Add in that the game keeps track of ratios, and they are bred less often than even the trios. So not only is it less likely that you will be able to breed one/have one bred for you, it's almost impossible to gift them away.

And that's why I'm a supporter of adding in the Teleport/secure trading option into the game. I'm building an army of Vamps, I want to be part of the gifting project, I want the eggs to go to people without Vamps. If I repulse an egg and it goes to a guy with like anything more than 10 vamps, I'd probably want to punch a baby.

. . . . Although if they were trying to get 30+ Vamps to have a bite everyday, then maybe I would be less pissy.

Still, it's more important to me to get a gifted egg to the intended party. So yeah. . . . teleport helps with that. XD

My Scroll name is Lynn_StarDragon, and I give all of my babies the surname StarDragon.

Except for my 1st three--all purples--where I didn't know I could do that. . . . and I misspelled it Stardragon on my female pink. . .

But otherwise, I'm their keeper, why shouldn't I give them the family name? And if it works for a lowly newbie like me, then Fading should be able to get away with that and murder. >3
