Eh..not so great. Been a lot of drama going on, and bullshit. Both online and offline. Starting to eat away at my nerves.

Yeah...but when you happen to live with them and already pay rent...plus look up to them, its my grandparents. Mainly my grandpa that I have the issue with. He always out for taking the easy way out. Everything is about borrowing and haggling...and to pay it back is a payment plan. Its always about him...and what he wants. Its like nobody else matters and I have to change the plans I had for my money because of him. Its so damn frustrating and irritating.

Drama is the reason why my high school senior year was spent away from the high school and in college. =3 <Feels super smart.> X3

Ya, I did a test to go to college a year early so I wouldn't have to be in my high school around the idiotic drama and it worked rather well. I didn't go on my senior trip because I don't know how they thought it would be relaxing for me to deal with a bunch of idiots for more than 24 hours. It was a trip to see them GONE! =3

Not at the moment..I just moved up here ((Minnesota)) from Arkansas...sold my car and got rid of my apartment that I had been renting. I just started a new job here...and on the first fucking day my grandpa came at me talking about "rent" even though I sleep on the fucking floor in the livingroom.

Its just...eating away at me. I realized for the first time today that I'm not happy. I thought I was...but my grandpa hasn't changed one bit from how he treated my parents...and thats why they ended up disowning him...it was all about money and if you could borrow him some...he has done the same thing with my aunts and still does it to one of my aunts.

Sorry that things are so bad for you right now. I hope your able to figure something out and get a new place to live soon.

I don't think thats going to change anything. My grandpa knows how nice I am and how I feel guilty when I say no. I have too big of a heart and always try to "fix" other people with problems..whether its money or emotional. Gets me hurt wayy too often because I get taken advantage of and played. I always end up being just a tool or a doormat...or in this case a bank. My grandma doesnt agree with it but shes too passive and submissive to my grandpa to really stand up and take a stance.

This is going to sound harsh maybe but you really need to learn to say no to people or it will just keep happening. It's hard but you are allowing people to take advantage of you. It isn't right what your grandfather is doing and he shouldn't do it but you can't change that. I understand just giving him the money because you live there, he is family and it is a touchy situation. However, when you are not living there any more you should not just give in to him whether he is family or not.

Oh I know where your coming from. I'm just...I guess I'm just not to that point yet of putting my foot down...yet. =/

Well if you don't start now you most likely never will. It doesn't even have to be big things. Just start on little things and with people who are not as close to you as your family. I have a good friend, like a second mum to me, and it has taken her over fifty years to learn to stick up for herself and say no to people. If friends are really your friends then they will understand when you say no to something.

Kind of sounds like my aunt on my dad's side. He ended up disowning her for similar reasons. He won't even call her his sister, he calls her either Denise or Charlotte's (My other two aunts) Sister. x.x;;;
