the longer it lasts the longer I get to stay here, so I don't mind it taking a few months.

Arking! Such a cute term. I'll definitely adopt it and start using it. XD

Oh, they won't evict you until it's over? Well yeah, that's a plus then.

Haha, yeah, I have a list in a Word document of the ones I need to have a full set . . . even all three different neglected dragons (which I'll attempt LAST over a VERY lengthy amount of time).

I think I have about 60 left to go? @[email protected] Over that? Blah.

well, I'm still hoping I win and don't get evicted, but yeah. my son doesn't want to move. he wants to barricade the apartment so nobody can come in here and make us leave.

if we have to move, he wants us to move to the coast and live with my brother. I don't see that happening. They have enough problems, they don't need more people living in their house.

I'm just worried about who would ever rent to me again? I mean, getting evicted for "damages" to 2 apartments with the same company? who would accept that and let that person rent from them?

Then why not find a way to buy your own place? It might be better in the long run, though hard right now.I don't really know everything about the situation,so feel free to ignore this. :D

Well, if you explain that you really WEREN'T responsible for the damages. These water things happen. Pipes leak, plumbing goes faulty . . . we lived in my new house 5 months before the water line broke and flooded our entire basement and first floor. Not our fault. Living environments give out one way or another and need to be replaced every now and then . . . can't believe they peg the damages on the tenants.

we are living on my son's SSI which is $627 a month and my child support of $40 a month. the apartment is low income, so it only costs around $150 for us a month.

the thing is, it's not pipes or plumbing. it's a matter of the floor being wet and the water going into the subfloor ... we have only been here 7 months! how could we have flooded our bathroom so much and so often in 7 months that it began to drip through the downstairs ceiling? these apartments are 40 years old. NO WAY it could be all our fault!!

What...That I'm working at a fast food place to save money to go to university in FIne Arts? OR that I'm tired and need to go to sleep,or I won't be able to work very well tomorrow,,,,Then again it doesn't take enormous skill to be a cashier.

lol Well then..that explains a lot,I wanna go to university so bad! After working it really makes me appreciate how great an experience it is,and how many people don't even think about going. I'm not saying it's wrong not to go,just that ..I never realized how many people never even think of going to university ,college or trade schools.

yeah, so many folk don't go because they think it's a waste of time or they can't afford it or it would be too hard ... you never know until you try, right? I know if I hadn't failed a class and had to stay an extra semester to retake it and do some other credits I would only owe $3,000 in student loans. instead I was lazy and took the extra semester and wasn't able to get all the grants I needed so I owe $7,000 ... but that was before interest and not being able to pay all these years ... I'm not even sure how much it is now ...

Great to know you've been getting sleep. :)

And errands suck . . . I know how that goes. e_e

I'm okay. Woke up early for a guest lecture. A famous political cartoonist was visiting and lectured about his career and how important his job was, how many death threats he's gotten, etc. We had a draw off where we basically sat across from each other and drew each other's caricatures within a minute. So I've been drawn by a famous illustrator! Made waking up early worthwhile. :)
