yesterday, before we had to go and get it done, my sister was sobbing and saying she never had any children, Cassie was like her baby. I told her it wouldn't matter if she had a ton of kids, Cassie would still be her baby. I reminded her that my dog (that had to be put down last August) was like my son, and I do have a "real" son.
