Biggest things I've seen in RP's that ... make me twitch is when people switch tenses a lot. So make sure you're in an RP that posts in the tense you're comfortable with, whether it be present or past tense :x.

You know what bugs me about roleplaying?
When people are all "I touch your skin and feel over it's smooth-ness" >.> if that's a word instead of like "He touched her skin, feeling over the smooth-ness" xDD
Just examples.

Yeah I'd much rather RP in third person instead of first. RPing is meant to be an interaction between characters (in my opinion)... RPing in first person just makes it seem like YOU are doing the action instead of the character meant to be portrayed.
