And judging by the content I last saw when I ventured into their LI... I'm the least of their problems.

Anyway!~ *flails* This hat... is a pain.. xD. I spent like... thirty minutes trying to put something together to go with it and just gave up.

off to bed. need to get up early so i can spend the day with my boyfriend. friday is last day for a month. he's going back to school on saturday morning and i won't see him for a month since he's planning on coming back late september a couple of weeks after our anniversary since we're trying to go out and see a band we like thats coming to town that weekend.

Most children would get their parents a present to commemorate the 25th, 50th and 75th year anniversaries. Well.. at least most children I know. xD

I was kind of annoyed when my boyfriend's mom threw us an anniversary party. (That neither of us wanted.)

Usually.. for their 50th, people give the couple gifts.. at least that's how it's always been in my family. Sooo.. I'm biased. xD

Well... I don't know anyone who's made it to 50 years. xD

I know that my Dad gave his parents gifts when they made it to their 25th and 50th anniversaries. I guess maybe it just depends on how you feel about it?
Me and my husband like to celebrate together on our anniversary and I know my Mother likes to send us cards and stuff. And the first year we were married she got us a gift. *nod*

lol, the only people I know who made it to 50, is both sets of grandparents. xD
That's pretty sad, considering my grandmother has 8 brothers and sisters (a few are dead, can't remember how many) and I don't remember any of their anniversaries.

WAIT! I think my step grandparents have been married fifty years. I'd really just prefer that others don't buy me gifts for anniversaries, and not buying them gifts encourages that behaviour, right?
Or does it just make me look selfish? xD

I would think offspring would help their parents celebrate an anniversary (um, lol.) One of my earliest memories is of going on a trip to another state and the relatives there celebrating an anniversary (I forget whose.)
