Izumi wouldve laughed at Zeke's obvious pent up lack of battle frustration if he hadnt of started taking it out on her. "Eh?!" She exclaimed seeming to almost jump 5 feet away from Rion as she turned a glare onto Zeke. "Quit being all sour at me for being practically kidnapped by someone!" She exclaimed, her angry face even seeming to not hold enough anger to make her words hold meaning. "Besides its the middle of the night and were all tired, how can you claim victory for winning a battle against someone who's been fighting and traveling all day?" Of course Izumi had no clue what the others had been doing up till a few hours ago, but her sass seemed to be manifestering again as she crossed her arms and tried her best to appear menacing to the very, very tall man.

He was lucky, once again. Mia took him in just as Orpheus caught the glimspe of the Void Guardian's hair in the crowd. Must hide myself fast... he thought as clambered in after the woman, half limping to further draw the pity fromt he women.

"Oh sweet heart," she crooned as she handed him a bun and a drink. "What can I do for you?"

"A job... I beg of you, kind lady, let me work in the kitchen. I would be forever in debt to you, if you would just show me this one small kindness." He begged in a hoarse whisper, and almost laughed when Mia pursed her lips and took him to the kitchen. These beings were notoriously easy to manipulate. It was all the better for him to not have a heart - Orpheus couldn't imagine himself coping with such weakness.

He was left there with a cook and told that he was to keep out of the way and help with the cruder tasks if he could. As he chewed absent mindedly on the bun, he glanced out of the door separating the kitchen and the dining area, and grinned to see the crowd outside. Perfect. He realized that the water used here came from an outside source, which made his mission all the simpler. He followed a junior member of the kitchen outside and watched him pull water from the brook flowing so merrily behind the eatery. He hid until the boy returned inside, and knelt down by the river.

"People of Medina, prepare to suffer." Orpheus chuckled quitely and took out a knife. He pushed the edge down deeply against the palm of his hand and watched with satisfaction as the thick silver liquid began to well up. He sank his hand into the water then, and let it be carried away to be mixed with the spring before it crystalized in the air and gave his nature away. A dangerous thing, especially with so many Guardians swarming about.

"Practically kidnapped?!" Zeke scoffed, glancing down at Izumi with his golden eyes in a very sneering way as he crossed his arms as well - he was still young enough for this. "And where did your kidnapper take you?" He asked, and before she could answer, he pointed at Rion. "To our loverboy right here! Clearly he wasn't even that interested in you." He took care to place some emphasis on the last word as he looked away, before turning back to glare at her with his lantern like eyes.

"How dare you insult my honor?! Just who are you anyways?!" He asked crossly, his eyes gaining a hint of red as he glowered down at her. "Rion, for your information, was the one that asked for the fight!" Her attempt at intimidation was lost on him as he simply glared at her, this infuriating creature that he had never met before but was causing rather violent thoughts to race through his head at that moment.

How dared she?!

"But How could I know that?" Ok so that was practically another lie seeing as how Shigo had kept talking about Rion, but, then again he couldve taken Izumi some other place after all she had no clue what was going on, only the feeling that if she let Shigo go she'd have been completely lost, maybe in a different time. She ignored Zeke's play on words, obviously not interested if she was pretty enough for anyone, just strong enough.

"Honor? What are you a knight?" She asked trying hard not to giggle at the man. Sure he was very scary but the way she had infuriated him that easily made a small smile keep trying to appear on her face. This was fun. "I never said he didnt, Im just pointing out the obvious." Izumi added, moving her hair back out of her face as it fell over when she shook her head at him. "I wouldve thought such a honorable man as you would realize little facts like that before gloating over a nonexistent victory."

"Oh, sure." Zeke retorted, though not one ounce of him believed her. His eyes spelled out "liar" as he glared at her over his shoulders. Women... The few females that he knew in his line of work nabbed some of the best customers in the field because of their... assets, and it bothered Zeke very much.

Izumi's mention of being a knight made him tense up - he was silent for a while as he thought about those days spent in pursuit of knighthood. A little slip from the past... His eyes clouded over for a moment, before he looked at Izumi coldly and said, "You don't know anything about me." And like that, within the blink of an eye, he was calm again.

"Night and day... they make no difference..." He whispered under his breath, and then sighed. "You don't know anything." Zeke said again, though this time without anger.

"I'm from Artisia too" Estelle said with a smile. She stood, offering her hand to Miko. "We should get you back to the orphanage. I'm sure your guardian will be wondering where you are if you stay out too late." Truthfully she did not know if the keepers of the orphanage even kept track of their charges, except perhaps to do a quick head count each evening as they sent the children to bed. Did they have enough people working there to keep an eye on so many children, to make sure each child was clothed, fed, and kept healthy? Even one child could be a handful, she had seen that when her co-worker had temporarily taken care of his niece. The girl had wreaked havoc on the man's office and had kept up a constant stream of demands, complaints and other chatter. Miko seemed much better behaved than her co-worker's niece had been, but Estelle was sure there were probably other children at the orphanage who were not as quiet.

Izumi's frown deepened as she realized she had now treaded on a touchy subject for Zeke even though she had no clue why. "Of Course I dont. We met 5 minutes ago and we dont even know the others name!" Izumi said with a slight 'hmph' at the end as if aggravated that hed make a presumption that she made assumptions. She watched as it seemed Zeke got lost in a memory as he didnt answer her, unsure if she should speak or not till it seemed he had calmed down. Well there goes the fun.

"Then you want to tell me?" Izumi asked half bouncing on the balls of her feet as she hurried to keep step with the long legged man. "Consider it catch-up time with Rion." She added as an afterthought since she didnt know how willing the man would be to devulge his past. But he had successfully peaked Izumi's interest and she would find out one way or another. "If you start with your name I will tell you mine."

... That was it...
Ayu spread her wings. Her face was now exposed, but it had been changed. She was giving up her human side to get away from the pain. She was losing everything that made her human. Scales grew to cover her new body. A long tail lashed out. But when the transformation finished, she started shrinking. A 15 year old dragon was barely an infant, usually only 2 and a half feet long.

" Grrrrrrr? Ryrrrrrr~"

... Until she figured a way to transform back into her humanoid form, Ayu would have to be stuck as an infant dragon. With no memories of her human past.

Elizabeth watched the disagreement between Zeke and Izumi silently, wishing fervently that she was anywhere BUT where she was right now. She didn't want to get involved at all. She turned around to get Kamui and return to the village.

Kamui sat put as Elizabeth had ordered her, at least until she grew bored of it. A sparrow flew past her head, and Kamui decieded to follow it. May be she could catch it and convince the nice folks at the orphanage to let her keep it as a pet...

Elizabeth froze when she realized that Kamui had wandered off.
"By the goddess!" she growled angrily to herself. Children of all races were pains in the nether regions, Elizabeth decided.

The girl looked at the situation with mild interest. So then the hug was out of love? She scratched her head, turning to Fayne. "What's up with them and that big, grumpy guy?"

Fayne shrugged as he kept silent. Sometimes he would rather wait for the situation to resolve itself. "Wait, why are you here anyway?"

She shrugged. "It's not for the laughs I can tell you that." She sighed for a moment, closing her eyes. "It's a lot more exciting watching a battle and seeing that weird kid materialize than running around and being a child."

Fayne rolled his eyes. "Oh so you're just a boring girl looking for a piece of excitement and that makes it okay to latch onto me?" The last sentence was laced with sarcasm as he turned to her.

"You're more exciting than anyone else and it seems like those three are in the middle of something and I'm not just a girl. The name is Sari." Sari responded, adding emphasis to her name.

Ryu: Im not wearing this garbage bag forever. I look like the subway guy wearing his pre-subway clothes!))

Ryu was about to yell at Ayu some more when the wings opened, only to have him come face to face instead with a dragon so small he wouldve laughed but for the shock of it. "A-Ayu?" He asked, taking a step back thinking the thing was going to attack him...until...oh god....Was it-Was it purring?! "O-Oi, Never mind you can go back into your little cocoon thing." He said sweatdropping slightly as he continued to back up till a tree stopped him. What the hell had he just gotten himself into, this annoying pest it seemed was un revengeable in a way. No matter what Ryu did to hurt her it seemed to come back ten fold or in this case dragon fold. "God Damn, wheres Fayne or Rion when you need them?" He yelled at the sky, seeming to almost wallow in his bad luck.

Kamui chased after the sparrow, who flew just out of the young werewolf's reach. As she approached Ayu and Ryu, she heard someone yell "God Damn, where's Fayne or Rion when you need them?"
Who's Fayne? wondered Kamui. She recognised the other name as belonging to that weird guy who'd used to live at the orphanage in Medina Village just like she herself did now.
Curious, she crept closer until she could see Ryu against a tree, a baby dragon (Ayu) purring and crying for attention before him.

Fayne turned his head, hearing something faint. He turned back, shrugging. Maybe it was just his imagination. He nodded to Sari.

"Aren't you going to tell me your name?" Sari had one hand on her hip, analyzing his facial expressions.

Fayne shrugged. "Does it matter? You've only known me for maybe ten minutes or so."

Sari glared at Fayne. "I told you mine! Besides, I should get some reward for being able to track you."

Fayne sighed. "Fine." He paused, knowing that he would regret this. It dawned on him then that she could be some sort of spy for the Nightmare Resonance. She did follow him around undetected. He pressed his lips together. No then she would recognize that Shigo guy and there was more than one Fayne in Terra. "Fayne."

"Rrrrryyyyuuup?" She had gained full control over her wings and was now using them to their full exent... to try and get near Ryu. She flew up his roomy shirt, and her head appeared in the neck of his shirt.

"Chuu?" Luckily she wasn't fully mature and her scales were still pliable, or else Ryu would have been hurt.

Kamui approached Ryu and Ayu.
"Hello, I'm Kamui. Is that a dragon?" she asked Ryu, unaware of the fact that Ryu was a Guardian~and also unaware that Ayu was one as well.
((uh...sorry for the shortness, my brain wants to draw right now, not roleplay properly~I can't even think like Elizabeth right now.))

That is just about how Ayu would look right now.

Ryu fought the dragon all the way up his shirt. He tried flapping the stupid cloth and just plain old shoving at the creature but its stubborn claws kept a strong grip, practically ripping the new shirt and not to mention its wings were just plain old in the way. "At least speak freaking english." He muttured his face in his hands as he tried to control his temper after all it didnt seem right to smack around a baby, wether it be dragon or terran. "Please tell me Im finally going insane." He muttured to no one in particular, opening a crack in his hands to look at the spot Ayu had just been in in the hopes she was still there and having some cruel joke on him. "Ok Ayu, lets stop playing dragon and start being a big girl now." He said glaring angrily at the dragon still clinging onto his shirt and weighing him down. "It stopped being funny the moment you did it." Ryu was so preoccupied with trying to make Ayu stop and get the hell out of his shirt that it took a moment to notice the girl who had walked up beside him. "Yes. yes it is. Would you like to keep it as a pet?" The smile that spread across his otherwise blank face seemed to hold a hint of angry insanity. "Its house trained...I think."

Kamui sighed.
"I don't think I'd be able to keep her though, sir," she said. "But I really wish I could. She's really cute. Besides, I think she's attached to you."

As Kamui spoke, Elizabeth caught up to her.
"There you are, Kamui!" she exclaimed. Then she noticed Ryu. "Is that a baby dragon in your shirt, Ryu?"

Ryu groaned at Kamui's answer, obviously dissapointed she couldnt take Ayu away so he could be done with her. "Are you sure? Im sure she'll grow to like you." Ryu tried some more, one hand reaching up his shirt and trying to grab Ayu by the tail to yank her out. When Elizabeth walked up he groaned again at her question his hand dropping as he still couldnt get her out. "Yes, Take it out will you?" He asked eyes flashing angrily as he attempted to have what seemed to be a staring contest with the dragon though he considered it a battle of wills.

"I don't think I can without hurting it."
Elizabeth held up a hand to prevent Ryu from speaking.
"And don't you dare suggest that I use my powers as the Nature Guardian to calm the creature, Ryu, because dragons are immune to my powers. And where's Ayu? She might be able to get the creature off of you."

Ryu frowned as he realized his plan had failed. He wanted to just walk away from the thing but seeing as how it was literally stuck to him there was no way. "Yes Im sure she can, but not the way you are thinking of." Ryu said sliding down against the tree and sitting cross legged so it was like the dragon was half in his lap and half in his shirt. "Let me introduce you Elizabeth. Met Ayu." He said sarcastically obviously still not happy.

"Hrrrrrr~! Yu!"
She flicked her right ear in a way of almost acknowledgement. A type of salute. Before neatly licking Ryu on the chin and ducking her head into the shirt in order to get closer to him, her source of heat.

At Ryu's words, Elizabeth groaned.
"I may be no expert on dragons, but I think she's imprinted on you, Ryu. She thinks you are her mother," she added. "You'll have to get Ayu to remember that she's also human, and not just dragon."

"Theres a slight problem with that." Ryu snapped back at Elizabeth. Even with his old emotions back Ryu was obviously the same tempermental person. He turned an emotionless face back to Ayu and his lip turned downward in somewhat a sneer. "Im not a girl." He added picking up the edge of the stupid shirt and peering in at her. "Oi! Ayu! Your a human got that?!" That was really the best Ryu could and would do. What? Was he supposed to act caring to the person who annoyed him the most? Or was he supposed to show her stuff she would remember? It didnt matter, he was ready to lose her. Reaching down Ryu pulled what remained of his new shirt off and threw it to the side before standing up in order to make the dragon fall to the ground. "Might as well just go buy brand new clothes" He muttured darkly to himself as he started to walk away from Ayu. It seemed because of this girl he was having to walk around shirtless alot.

Fayne turned his head, seeing Elizabeth and Kamui gone. "Where'd everyone go?"

Sari stood up, pulling on Fayne's ponytail. "Come on, I think they went this way." She pointed in a direction and started walking.

Fayne pushed away Sari's hand, standing up and following her. He might as well, at least if she is from the Resonance he can corner and kill her that way. They continued walking before seeing Ryu with a bundle under his shirt and Kamui with Elizabeth.

"Looks like we found them, but who's that?" Sari pointed to the guy with something under his shirt in wonderment.

"No one you need to know." Fayne pushed his glasses closer to his face, examining Ryu. Was that a dragon? Before he could ask Ryu had walked away, leaving him with a few questions. He turned to Elizabeth. "Is Ayu really under his shirt?"
