When Ayu left, Izumi placed all her things down in a corner by Ayu's bed and sighed as she looked down on Elizabeth. It didnt seem like she was having a good dream judging by her face but it wasnt like Izumi could really do anything about it since the girl had fainted.

Sighing Izumi sat down on her own bed and put her face down in her hands where she continued sitting till Ayu had come to check up on them. But upon the girls departure Izumi stood up again and began to consider bringing out her djinn. If only just to have someone to talk to who understood her.

"I was afraid to tell anyone." Rion said. "But yes I will die once, Arubeil dies. After all, he's the one who staged everything, he staged my death and placed a curse on my soul. That is what I truely remember, being touched by his filthy hands, cursing my soul. I don't know how to get out of this situation. I want to be normal again. But I don't know what to do. The Goddess is confused at my situation as well. Not to mention if Fayne gets Diaboras from inside me countless lives will suffer. Diaboras is not to be trifled with, that esper should have been erased long ago. Diaboras is no ordinary esper, he's one of the three legendary espers in the worlds. The Goddess lied to Fayne about one thing. Once Diaboras is summoned, it's all over, that hell-born monster of a dragon is the God of Niflheim, a world in which the dead sleep and demons roam. Diaboras will be upset from his containment, and he'll annihilate anything in his path." Rion proclaimed. "It was said that Diaboras can only be tamed when the Esper Guardian has obtained Diaboras' sister Rumina the Esper that signifies divinity. However, reaching her is nearly impossible now."

"I thought it was impossible for me to ever travel with others and not snap their necks." Ryu said a serious look on his face that clearly showed that he wasnt joking. "Whats impossible? Hell if anyone could do capture that thing, I would think between Fayne and the rest of us it would be possible." Ryu finally sat back up, staring at Rion with eyes that couldve pierced through a persons soul. "If Ive learned anything after meeting all you weirdos, It would be not to give up so easily." He was probably ruining his image with each word he spoke, but hearing someone accept death so simply was pissing him off. "So quit moping, you have all of us behind you, that right there is a miracle."

Fayne sat in his room, staring at the walls, debating bringing out one of his espers. Selbis was usually grumpy to come out and Felblaze was completely out of the question. He rested his elbows on his knees, thinking about Rockwell's quiz and the other esper. Turtles were a bit troublesome in terms of defense and he probably had the weight advantage too, but speed was on his and Selbis's side. And the "Destroyer", Diaboras. It was the reason that Rion had died in the past and needed a sacrifice too. He bit his lip. Was it really worth it? In such a short period of time he had grown to find useful and even acquaintances. He fell back onto the bed, deciding that he shouldn't be thinking about it until they came up.

"Thank you, Ryu. I needed that." Rion said with a smile as he cried. "Even when you're grumpy, you still have caring heart." Rion giggled. "It's funny. I thought that you hated me was because of my elemental affiliation. But I know now that you're nice on the inside. Even if it is deep inside, I'm glad." Rion smiled.

Ryu rolled his eyes before looking away from Rion again. "And you wont hear me say it again." He said standing up and stretching. "And no matter what you tell others, as far as Im concerned I never said it in the first place." He said, glaring at Rion as if to get the point across. Silently he messed up the bed before laying back down as if the perfection of it had been driving him insane. "Now go to sleep and get your strength back. Were all going to need it."

Ayu had just witnessed a miracle. Ryu had comforted somebody. On the outside of the barely open door, she smiled a sad sort of smile. One that said 'I knew this would happen' triumphantly and said 'My friend since childhood is going to die when we kill the evil mastermind, oh the irony...'. She quietly closed the door fully and sat down in the hallway, list be damned. She was going to stay here and be depressed and if anybody tried to move her, they would probably be faced with the scariest situation alive.
"Damn, I knew this was going too well. I knew, I knew, I knew, dammit!" She felt like wrecking and burning something until it was reduced to a single molecule. But she just sat there, thinking: I knew it, I knew it, so how can I be this disturbed?

Rion giggled, "Okay, okay, I got it......good night, Ryu." Rion said as he took off the ribbon on his hair. Rion laid down and quietly slept like a doll. Rion's expression when he slept was like a doll as well.

Ryu let out a deep sigh as he heard Ayu's voice coming though thier door and he realized he was goiong to be the person who never gets any sleep. Throwing the sheets off him, Ryu snuck past Rion before opening the door and glaring at Ayu. "What the hell is wrong now Ayu?"

"I'm sorry Mr. Emo. I just got suddenly informed the closest thing I had to a friend, what ever the specifics for a friend are, is going to die once the mission is completed. I think I would be a little depressed and possibly become another you. Whoopty-do-da-day." Ayu wasn't crying, but she was looking in the pessimistic angle.

"Sorry Ayu, I can only be nice to one person once a day." Ryu said surpressing a yawn that made his eyes water slightly. "But Ill repeat what I told him, Theres going to be another way. Hell we managed to get past this water problem today, I think we can pretty much handle anything Arubeil throws at us."

With that he took of his towel and hit it against her head hoping it might actually hurt. "Now get back to your room before you give Izumi another heart attack."

Elizabeth stalked off, walking away from Leo.
"Don't follow me!" she called over her shoulder.
"Elizabeth, you can't escape reality!" Leo called back.
"You forget, we are not in the real world," growled Elizabeth, "but the world of dreams."
"A world you know little about, Guardian," Leo retorted, "the world of dreams is just as real as the world you call 'reality'..."
Elizabeth moved in her sleep, rolling off the bed. With a loud thud she landed on the hard wooden floor, finding herself brutely awakened.
"What a strange dream," she muttered to herself, before being distracted by voices.

Izumi whirled around as she heard Elizabeth hit the floor, her arms still held in front of her as she had been going through the incantation to call out Kaleb. "Elizabeth-san! Are you alright?" She asked hurrying to the side of the bed to try and help the girl up. "What happened?" She asked worriedly, her eyes darting around as if she thought someone had pushed her off the bed.

"I'm alright, Izumi. It was just a bad dream," Elizabeth replied, standing up and dusting herself off.

"My brother always told me bad dreams were predictions to soomething bad happening in the future." Izumi said seriously as she watched Elizabeth. "Do you care to share it? Maybe we can prevent it." It had always seemed true to her at least. She had had bad dreams the night before the fire, and the night of her brothers murder.

The Nightmare Resonance has been sent to invade another place that's filled with living beings. Terror lurks in Crescent Rock Mountain on these unsuspecting people, as the Crimson Moon Comet appears during the Lunar Festival.

Annyka let out a quiet string of colorful curses under her breath.
There were far too many people here; families. The husbands with their wives, and the children running around and waving their little flags.

'Hopefully, there won't be any unwanted company...'

Many Hallowed Wraiths watched their prey before they are ready to devour them. Stalking them, many of these Wraiths were growling and emiting a foul stench of searing flesh from their mouths. The Hallowed Wraiths growls were getting more and more louder and more violent.....until they all screeched a terrifying sound. The Wraiths rushed in and attacked the people. They were devouring the people bit by bit. Men, women, and children alike, these Wraiths ate the people one by one like a pack of wild animals, until they faced a half-demon female warrior. This woman's scent was so tasty to the Wraiths that they started to swarm her.
