Damien had let go of the vampire at that point and Teresa was going to take care of his carcass. Alec had managed to prop Yukina up against a tree and Damien was now kneeling next to her, trying to figure out if she was alive or not, despite the fact Alec was sure she was still alive.

Yukina felt cool hands touching her skin and groaned slightly and opened her eyed slightly,seeing damien first thing."D-Damien?",she asked softly.

Damien relaxed a bit and Alec automatically disappeared. Damien was grateful of that because it made him look better and Alec would have frightened her to some degree.

"Yeah," he said with a smirk.

Yukina smiled softly seeing his smerk."what happend to the other vampire?",she asked becomeing aware of her sorundings.And relized they were still in the park."did i drag you away ageain?",she asked a bit worriedly.

"No," he said calmly. "I was just relaxing on your couch." He was telling the truth for once but he felt like at times she couldn't handle the truth as well as most people could.

Yukina smiled."okay...",she said a bit tierdly and started to get up."then lets get back home"

"Do you think you can walk?" Damien asked. He had already gotten to his feet and he was scanning the area. He knew Teresa was going to stop by to check on the well being of the girl and clarify things.

Yukina nodded."i think so",she said and walked a but but fell forward.

Damien caught her and then gently lifted her bridal style. He was looking at her expression and then moved forward towards the apartment. He hoped she would say something at least to break the overwhelming silence. Then again she would be shocked when someone, not just anyone, a vampire was waiting at the door to her apartment.

Yukina looked at him."i-i can walk",she said nervously."i-it was just a dizzy spell",she said then blinked seeing somone waiting at the apartments."friend of yours?",she asked looking up at Damien.

He frowned slightly and shook his head at her response. When he looked he wasn't surprised to see Teresa waiting at the door. She had a small amount of blood on her but it was easy to explain why that was.

"Are you staring at something?" he questioned.

Yukina sighed,feeling left out ageain.Maybey it was his girlfriend,a vampire most likely.

Damien grumbled when she didn't respond to his question. He was frustrated at the moment and wasn't sure what to do. When he reached the door though he set her down.

"Teresa," he said. "This is Yukina. Met her on the street."

Yukina looked up at her."hi nice to meet you",she said a bit nervously.Yukina really didnt care if Damien was oing out wit this girl.It would make sence."you can put me down now Damien",she said softly."i'll go unlock the apartment...."

"Yukina," Teresa said a bit sharply. "How much do you know about Damien?"
"Be nice," Damien scolded. "I just barely met her and she knows what I am."
"Then does she know that you haven't met anything compatible with your picky personality?" Teresa demanded.

She had liked him at one point. That had been a while back and she'd found a companion by now, a different vampire.

Yukina blinked."hes not picky to me...well hes not that picky conpared to other people i have met.He dosnt tell me much but other then that he seems fine to me",she said trying not to look at Damien.

"You think I'm picky?" Damien asked in a slightly mocking tone, ignoring what Yukina had said. "Why don't you look in the mirror. You'll see the dictionary definition of picky."

"Pardon him," Teresa said to Yukina. "He gets defensive about his finickiness. I could see why he would choose you."

Yukina blinked."choose me?....for what esactly?,she asked confused as hell.

Teresa stared at Damien for a moment, who merely bowed his head and tried to forget that Teresa had mentioned that. It had become a custom for a male vampire to 'choose' someone to be companions with. It was occasional that it never happened and he had sworn that it would never happen to him.


"I haven't made any decisions Teresa," he said. "Let's go inside, Yukina."

Yukina was yet ageain confused but sighed."alright...",she said smileing at him.

Damien walked into the apartment and Teresa followed him. She had been the one to ransack the kitchen and was surprised to see that it was cleaned up already. She smirked and then looked at the girl.

"Hey," Damien said with a scowl. "Don't get any bad ideas."

Yukina looked at Damien then at Teresa."um ... were you the onewho...uh..went threw my kitchen",she asked softly.

And she didnt exsactly catch on to the bad idea thing but inly because she was to focous on the girl who was followling them.She oviously knew Damien,there was no dout baout that.So she knew way more about him.WItch made Yukina somewhat sad.She wanted to get close to damien and for him to be able to tell her everything without any lies.

"and Damien ... you can put me down when ever you want to",she said looking at him with a smile.

"Oh yeah...," Damien said with a slight bashful expression on his face as he set her down gently.

He could tell Teresa was holding a laugh in despite the fact that he wasn't looking at her. She seemed in tune with the surroundings and in no need of guidance around the area, which further encourage the idea that she had been the one to sneak in.

"So does little miss Yukina let Damien stay here?" she asked in a mocking tone, it was mostly towards Damien though. "Damien is a good pet."

Yukina blinked."yes i let him stay here but i dont concider him to be a pet",she said truthfully."hes a good friend who has saved my sorry ass more then once",she said in a shamed voice.

She thought about the 3 times he had saved her.One when the landlords had came for thier money and he had scared them off,when they were at th arcaede and the vampires tryed to lurer her away and then tonight.She didnt know all the details but she did know that Damien had helped save her.

"Don't give me too much credit," Damien responded as he sank into the couch.

It was pleasant, soft, and exactly what he needed at the moment. He didn't care about the comfort really, but about the idea of comfort. He motioned for Yukina to sit by him and Teresa watched stoically the expressions on both of their faces.

"Oh he didn't save you this last time..." Teresa said. "That would be Alec, but he's not here at the moment. He's a very busy man you see..."
