Yukina sat beside Damien and looked up at Teresa."well excuse me for being out like a light when whatever went was going on",she said a bit fustrated.All she knew was that she wolk up and saw damien beside her.no one else.If there were others inthe park they were eaither hideing of left.

"besides the first thing i did see when i wolk up was Damien.I did not see anyone else"

"That's because I had to take care of the friend that you met in the park," she said with a pleased expression. "Rather annoying beast and quite hard to take care of at times."

Damien squirmed a bit as he usually did when he was around Teresa. He was always uncomfortable when Teresa was poking fun of people like Yukina. He had a feeling he needed to go somewhere to report the vampire attacking her and his relation with this person.

Yukina groweld slightly.Witch surprised her.She hadnt done that in ... years."well congradulations to you",she said a bt harshley."but thanks of for doing so",she said in a slightly calmer manner.

She was feeling tence around her.She had absolutley no idea why she did.But she did.She looked at Damien when he squirm."you alright?",she asked takeing her mind off of Teresa.

"Fine," he said blinking slightly because Teresa had finally quieted. She couldn't effect the state of his mind when she was silent. It was a secret power that she'd had over him and a few others for a long time. It had developed when she'd came across an important artifact.

Teresa had shifted to the kitchen again, her least favorite part of the entire place, or any house at that matter. She detested the way that people ate. "Do you seriously eat this disgusting stuff," she questioned with severity.

Yukina siged."this comeing from someone who drinks blood?",she said looking at her."thats how i survive",she said defenceivly."just like you and Damien need blood to survive , i need food and water",she said in a somewhat calm tone.

"and even though you may not like it it dosnt mean you had to tear it up",she said with some anger.

"I was human once," Teresa snapped. "And trust me I don't understand how you could eat this junk."

Damien shook his head lightly as he tried to think of a creative way to get rid of Teresa. After that he would need to figure out a way to take care of his need for blood. He could start collecting it like he had the previous time he'd lived in the city. That would be too much work though and he didn't want to waste any time.

"Just leave Teresa," he said after a moment, when he realized that he wouldn't be able to 'convince' Teresa with words.

Yukina blinked."its meat andvegtables...the only junk in there is a bag of potaochips",she siad in a defencesive tone."and what did you drink blood as a human to?",now Yukina was just getting fustraed.Teresa was a human at one point ... so she had to have eaten food at one point.If not then did she starve herself?

Yukina jumped at Damiens order to Teresa.She really hadnt expected that at all.

Teresa growled slightly at the two before leaving through the door rather than the window. She was frustrated and it was obvious through her stature and the way that she walked.

"She was of a much much higher class than you," Damien admitted. "By good food she means only the best food there is and she never had to cook for herself so she doesn't really know what the containers look like."

Damien had risen to his feet at this point so he could shut the door to the apartment. When he circled back around he let out a sigh and seemed to look exhausted, despite the fact that he didn't need sleep.

yukina sighed."luckey her",she said then looked at Damien with some worry."do youneed to feed?",she asked.If he did then he would have to go.

"or are you just in a bad mood?",she asked trying to find an answer.He was doing so much for her,and there was nothing she could do for him.Wel to her knowlage that is.

"Yes, but I'm not going to leave you unless I know someone reliable is watching you," he said calmly though there was a scowl on his face.

He was trying to think of who he could ask to protect her. He could get Alec, who was extremely stoic for the most part and wasn't even interested in drinking Yukina's blood.

Yukina smiled slightly."i'll be fine ... i'll lock all my windows and everything and only open it when you come back"

"Fine," Damien grumbled as he stood up. He wasn't sure but he knew that Alec was posted nearby and if anything suspicious happened he could be there in a second. He had learned a lot of his fighting skills from the kid so he trusted that he could take out anyone that came by.

"I'll be back as soon as I can. If Alec comes in he'll announce himself and then probably just stand there awkwardly," just to warn you.

He left after he spoke, wanting to get out of the place. The smell was bothering him. It was like something besides a vampire had been in there and it was making him rather uneasy.

Yukina sighed slightly and locked everything up after he left.The apartment was quit now.After thowing a micro wave dinner into her oven she headed to the bathroom.

Shelifted her hair up and looked at the bite marks on her neack.They were almost throbling.Putting her hand over it she saighed.She hadnt been that scarde in most of her life.

She thenthought of all the troble she was causing Damien."maybey i should just leave ... and not cause him so much grief",she said to herself softly.She then left the bathroom to cheak on dinner.She smiled seeing she still had 25 minites left so she hoped into the shower.

Damien was sulking for the most part. He was probably putting her in danger with him being there. Teresa was next to him a moment later, just wanting to know exactly what happened after she had left. After get no response she silenced herself, making it an even more uncomfortable situation.

"I'm sure Alec is watching the apartment," she said after a moment, not wanting to deal with how tense Damien was. "It's not like anyone can get past him. I mean reme--"

"Shut up," Damien snapped. "I'm only out to hunt, not be harassed by some half-witted vampire who' still interested in me and I'm now for sure not going to choose."

Yukina sighed as she got out of the shower.Putting on her pajamas she went back into kitchen.She smiled slightly seeing the food done.She took t out and began to munch on it.

After she had finished she sat on the couch and flicked on the tv.There was nothing there to watch so she grabed a book and began raeding.

Yukina nearly had a heart attack hereing the phone ring."hello?",she asked softly.On the other end she herd a dark voice say "its just the begining......",then the line went dead.

Yukina hung up the phone quickly and shivered slightly.She sighed hopeing that Damien was alright and would be back soon.But when ever he did return she wouldnt tell him about the call and just let him relax.He deserved it.

As Alec had promised Damien he was sitting outside the girl's door listening attentively to whatever was going on inside. He had good enough hearing to realize the call that had been placed to this location was of a threatening manner. He did not know what to do so decided it would be best to not tell Damien. Damien would most likely overreact and attempt to look through the call records.

Meanwhile Damien was a mile or two out from the city. He preferred to not hunt in the city because people would begin to recognize him there. If he committed any crimes it would breed news and he didn't need news. What he needed was to get fed and get back to the house. Teresa had only come to amuse herself and to be sure that he was safe and wasn't lying to her about the whole 'pet' situation.

"Do you think they'll come investigate?" he questioned hesitantly before actually beginning to the hunt.

"Yes but it'll be short," Teresa said with a sigh. "They'll see how you act around her and most likely will leave."

Yukina had fallen alseep on the couch.She had a slight nightmare of the vampire who had attacked her.After about ten minites of crying out in her sleep her eyes shot open and looked around the room.Shesighed with relief when seeing she was home.

She got up and went into a small box,in it was a photo of her mother and father."there are moments i wish you were here",she said softly befour she placed the piture beside her bed and began to walk arpound the house.

In the meantime a small cuven were gathering in the park.All were talking about the man being killed.And how he fed off the half demon girl.They made a desishon that would most likely end up costing all of thier lives in the future but at that time it would be worth it.Soon after the group dispanded.

Alec had heard the half-demon girl crying and he was tempted to enter but he was strictfly forbidden to do so unless he smelled danger. When one of the coven members passed by he tensed and then entered. He was quiet though and unlocking the door was simple for him. He reengaged the lock for walking into the kitchen. "Damien should be back shortly," he said as he leaned against the fridge.

Meanwhile Damien had finished his hunting spree and was on is way back. He was stopped a few times by some members of clan that he had gotten a long with. They had news of a plan but they didn't have much information and just wanted to warn him. He was chilled a bit and it drove him to get back faster. The faster he got back the less likely she would get hurt.

Yukina had jumped when Alec was there."oh ... well thats good",she said catching her breath and sat on the couch."so then you must be Alec",she said with a slight smile."its nice to meet you",she said in a polite tone.She then jumped when there was a crashing noice in her bedroom.She looked in and sa a broken window.On her bed there was a rock with a note attached to it.And oviously shaterd glass was around that.

Yukina went into the room with cation and carefully picked up the rock,makeing sure she didnt tuch the glass,and walked out into the liveing room.

"I am Alec," he responded dryly more to himself than to her.

When she returned from the bedroom he was watching her intently. He knew something was up but he couldn't judge what was up because it wasn't close enough to the people. He could read peoples emotions really easily most of the time and at the moment he was tuning it out.

"What is that?" he asked, though it sounded more like a harsh demand.

Damien was only a few blocks away now and he was noticing the certain smells in the air. Teresa had finally left him and he was enjoying the soltiude for the moment. He was shocked though when he was attacked from behind and knocked to the ground, pinned. He struggled for a moment but then he heard a few voices.

Yukina looked over the paper,and it read come get him ....Fea ran threw all of Yukina and she ran out the door leaveing the note to fall onto the floor.

She made it out into the street and was in a dead run down the street.She swerved inand out of a few people.There was an atvantage of being part demon.The sence of smell was pritty damn good.And it was odd how good she could find damiens sent.She blushed lightly but shook it off as she ran down a side road.

Alec went after her naturally since he knew that it was either the coven from earlier or the one that was hunting him to get information. Either way there would be some consequence if she showed up and he knew that Damien could take care of himself. He needed to watch the girl.

Meanwhile Damien was held tightly by the forearms and three vampires were on him. It was the coven he'd made the pact with. The questions seemed to fly from every direction but they stopped when a separated coven came to take Damien.

"Take him," the Cain said, the leader Damien had made the pact with. "We don't need him anyways. We'll give you a little help though. Matthew and Donavin, let him go."

Damien stumbled forward and watched as Cain and his companions disappeared. They were on him a second later, not allowing him to respond. He struggle for a moment and then was pinned again. He groaned.

Yukina ran around a corner and spotted Damien."DAMIEN!",she called out with worry as she headed towards him.She didnt care that there were othe vampires there.She just wanted to be close to Damien.She only stoped when she was two arms lenth away.

Damien growled slightly at one of the coven members and struggle again. Alec had caught up with her by this point and automatically sensed the tension. He stepped forward and placed a hand on the leaders shoulder.

"You might not want to do this," he warned. "We know a lot more vampires then you realize."

As he spoke Damien's cell phone, which was by Yukina's feet rang.

Yukina jumped and grabed his ohone."h-hello?",she answered it.she didnt know why but she did.She looked at damien with worry but managed to give a freacefull glare at the Vampires who had Damien pined.

Normally she whould have just been fearfull but now she was just ticked.All she coukd think about was trying to help Damien and to use what ever demon skills her father had taught her to kick some vampire but.
