Yukina blinked."i see...hey do you want to come up?",she asked with a slight smile. This time she didnt spaek as loudly.She was hopeing that he would. She did not know why yet but she already enjoyed being around him. well that is if you dont have to be any ware"

"Don't have to be anywhere for a while," he said with a smile. He'd be in an actual home for once, it sounded nicer than he had first realized. It wasn't the temperature because the surrounding atmosphere rarely affected him. It was just the idea of being in a home.

Yukina smiled at him."then come on up" ,she said with a smile. "i'll meat you at the door",Yukina then sprang away from the window seal and headed down the stairs to unlock the door for him.When she got to the bottom of the stairs she unlocked it,and opend it.hey come on in",she said with a bright smile.

Damien had already gotten to the door when she'd reached the lower level. His eyes darted to her when she came back down and then he looked away. After entering he was sure that she hadn't seen his eyes, a dead giveaway. It had been dark in the streets though so he'd use that claim. He sighed slightly.

Yukina blinked looking at him."whats wrong?",she asked with slight worry.She hoped she didnt upset him at all.When he had enterd she noticed his eyes were a difernt shade.She had no idea why they were a diferent colour now,but she whouldnt let that get to her." . did i do something to upset you at all?"

"No," he said calmly. "Just not used to looking people straight in the face." He smiled slightly as he tried to think of a reason why. He'd get a story sooner or later and if she asked why he'd either say 'i don't want to talk about it' or tell her a long elaborate, or short story.

Yukina smiled at him. "oh ok ",she said heding up the stairs."uh so ...what brought you here anywase?",she said looking at him.She still wonnderd what about him made her so curious.

"I don't really have a place to live quite yet," he admitted. "But I just thought I'd drop by and see how you were doing." He could still keep the secret if he left while she was asleep. She wouldn't even know that he was gone.

Yukina blinked and smiled."you could stay here if you like ...i dont mind...i could always use the company",she said sitting on the couch."besidess i'd feel bad knowing that you didnt have a place to stay...considering during the next few days were getting hit with a bunch of thunder storms and i dont think you want to be stuck out side in those"

"Eh, I'd be able to find shelter sooner or later," he said with a smile. His eyes flashed to her for a moment. There seemed to be specks of gold in the as he studied her for but a brief moment before looking away. He wasn't as arrogant as he seemed but right now he was wary of the girl. He'd noticed the ears and thought they were cute but nothing else.

Yukina's ears went down a bit but she smiled . "alright but the offer is still open if you ever want to take it up",she said as her ears wiggeled a bit.Yukina blushed and coverd them up."i hate when they do that ..."

"They look fine," Damien said softly before walking towards one of the chairs that he'd spotted earlier. He'd purposefully make himself uncomfortable though he wasn't worried about falling asleep because that was one thing he'd sacrificed when he became what he was. "Do you sleep?" he asked after a moment, hoping that she did due to the fact that it would make staying here easier for him.

Yukina looked at him and smiled. "of cosrse i sleep...if i didnt i would have been fired from my job at the caffee mounths ago".she said getting streaching.She wondered why he asked her that.Mabey he thought nekos didnt sleep?....who knew. But still sh was curious about him. She knew he was diferent form other people,but she still couldnt figure out what it was.

He merely nodded before shutting his eyes for a brief moment. He could smell her now despite the fact that she was all the way across the room. He stood after a moment and paced slightly. "Tell me about what your parents were like," he said after a moment.

Yukina blinked and looked at him.She rarely talked about her parents to any one. Mostly because she didnt trust them .But for whatever reason,she felt like she could trust him."t-they were good people . When theey moved here they vowed not to cause troble.and they never did. not even when the humans whould shout rude remarks to them. They looked out for people they cared about ,and protected them. After i was born they taught me how to get along with humans no mader what they said to me.Then a few years ago....they had to go on some busnise trip. Half way threw the flight ..it crashed,and they were both killed.",she said closeing her eyes laying on her couch. "they taught me so much but its wierd...i cant really remember much about them..its like they never exsisted....."

Damien finalized that it would not be safe to talk about his parents quite yet. He listened attentively as she spoke, taking in every word. He crossed the room and knelt down before her, brushing some hair on her head back. He touched her ears gently, feeling them for a moment before turning away from embarrassment. He shouldn't do that, she did even know what he was but her scent was so interesting, different than any human he'd met.

Yukina's ears twutched slightly when he tuched them.She opened her eyes and looked at him."what about your parents, what are they like?", she asked feeling a bit sleepy. it had been a long day and she was tierd. But for some reason she didnt want to go to to sleep,because she was scarde that he whould leave.

"They were nice," he said. "Polite and caring but seemed to be out of there time. They really belonged in the time of Shakespeare I think since they loved speaking in old English." He was fabricating it but involving so much truth it was starting to kill him. "If you ned to sleep I don't mind."

He wouldn't make a promise though. He could never keep a promise.

Yukina sat up quickly."n-no...i dont want to sleep ..i know this sounds stupid but i-im scared you'll leave..."

Damien looked perplexed and shook his head slightly. "Trust me I won't leave," he said though the sentence was unfinished. He wouldn't leave the city and if he did leave it was because he needed something or needed to meet someone. He stood up then and sauntered over to an area he hadn't investigated before, wondering if he could find something that would knock her out.

Yukina sighed and layed down. "i know you dont mean it so ...you can go...",she said closeing her eyes and turning her back to him.

He growled slightly, without meaning it and was shocked that he had actually done that. Damien leaned against the opposite wall so that he couldn't look at her. He did not know why but he felt that he would put her in danger if he stayed.

Yukina slowly drifted off to sleep. She knew when she wolk up he whould be gone. But at the momnet she diidnt care if he did leave. She was use to being left alone.But truthfuly a part of her did care.She felt like she could really trust him, but it was his life and if he wanted to leave then it was his choice.

Damien decided to stay just to prove her wrong. He'd gotten his fill already and didn't really need anymore. He'd walked over to the window sill and sat down there, looking out the window and sat down on the sill to wait through the night.

Yukina shiverd slightly during the night and curled up into a ball. Then she herd a noice that made her wake up emeaditly.Yukina opend her eyes and sat up .Out side she herd a car come to a stop. But then she noticed Damien sitting at the window seal."y-you stayed?",she asked some what surprised.She then shook it off and ran over to the windo.She peeked out and saw three men in suits get out of a black van. "aw man",she mutterd and ran into another room franticly.
