Hmm. I'm not sure what to think about all this. XD

I mean...Mariah Carey can sing and all, but most of her songs are just too unoriginal and predictable, imo.

And Elvis was the King, you know?

I am not a fan of either artists so it doesn't really phase me if she got a number one or whatever.....same goes for Elvis...Just not my style.

I personally think these records should be skewed on a difficulty curve going backwards since people had more taste then. :)

Love them both, but there's no reason that Mariah couldn't have bested Elvis, just because he's the King of Rock 'n' Roll and that he had a large fandom back in the day. There's always new artists coming out, and Mariah's been working at this for just how long?
