Anyone else miss this show?

For me, I absolutely loved Season one (aww to Doyle... died to soon!) and also Season Five.

I liked the other seasons but not quite as much (to much Darla and Connor blech). I was really surprised when it was cancelled after season 5 because it was such an improvement and all the backstories were great!

What were your favourite seasons and favourite characters?

I loved Fred, she was so awesome and became more so as the seasons went by. She was so darned cute too!

And Lindsay... mmm, if only he'd been in it more! But no matter, he was in it and that's what counts :D

I loved both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spin off series Angel.

The first series of Angel was basically just setting up the premise for the show and its ties with Buffy the Vanpire Slayer. I did like Doyle and he was killed off to early but then Cornella would not have gotten the visions.

I would like to have seen a bit more of the fight and how Angel, Spike and the others did against the forces of evil, and the end of the final eposide.

Have you ever read any of the books on the series?

I have and find them quite good.

I've read one book from Angel but didn't particularly like it. I forget what it was called but it was about Lilith and her evil ways.

I read the comics for both Buffy and Angel but other than that aren't really into the books.

I've seen the whole first season of this show. My boyfriend is actually an avid fan and bought all the box sets when they first came out.

I seriously cried when Doyle died. I wanted so bad for him to live...

I've seen re-runs of it on TV. It's a pretty good show, though I have to agree with you about Connor. I don't know why, but I just didn't like him. My favorite characters are probably Wesley and Cordelia.

I've recently been watching my DVDs of Angel and Buffy, I'm getting my mom into them. xD

I had watched all 5 seasons since my Ex had the sets on DVD and i was only working part time. I miss that show! And i wish they HAD gone further into the end of the world Final episode. I thought that as a horrible ending as they left it =(

Even though the ending was frustrating I liked it much better than the Buffy ending.

It was a scary cliffhanger and you knew they wouldn't survive... except in the comics they did! :)

i loved the show too it was great much more into then buffy at lest when i wached it the one i liked that showed her self a few times was the roge slayer (cant think of her name) but i liked her
edit why i didnt like Connor because he complaned about everything every little thing

i loved Spike, on the fifth season when he gets hunted by the crazy girl. so SEXY!!

I read yesterday there was meant to be a Spike spinoff with Illyria in it!! Holy woah! That would have been so damn neat!

I knew there was meant to be a Spike spinoff but with Illyria too? It's like dream world!
Alas, not to happen :(
