(When I was in high school, where I lived the power used to go out all the time, it seemed. One time it even went out when it was sunny outside, so it wasn't even like a storm knocked it out >.< )

She could tell he felt nervous, and she was worried it was her fault. She thought maybe that he was afraid that she was falling for him, but then why would he suggest such a thing?
"You ok, Levi?" she asked, looking a bit concerned about him. "I'm sorry if this bothers you at all. I really don't know what's going on." She sighed.

(i know what you mean! i hate it! honestly, it scares me and makes me feel powerless.. :cry: it's happened more than once this summer, both times it's been a beautiful night, slightly humid but mostly really cold!)

"you're not the only one" he chuckled "i have no clue what's going on and honestly, i think i like you a tad bit more than a friend" he blurted out, unsure of the consiquences. He blushed a soft tone of pink before looking down at her then back up at the moon. Which was set like a diamond on deep blue velvet.

(I lived out in the middle of nowhere so we were on a well which meant no water as well as no light and no heat. One time it went out in the winter when there was a bunch of snow on the ground. It happened enough that we were usually prepared for it whenever it did happen with kerosene lamps and candles and such.)

She had been kind of worried about that as well. If he cared like that for her, it would be that much harder if they did have to split up because of her job.
She leaned over and rested her head on his shoulder. "I guess all we can do is to wait and see what happens, hm," she said quietly.

(oh lord, at least you were prepared! Eh, thankfully we were lucky enough to never have lost it during the winter)

He nodded and gently wrapped an arm around her shoulders, he let out a soft sigh of pure content as the winds picked up around them. They wreaked of an approaching storm. His smile slowly faded once he felt the moisture in the air, it seemed hours had gone by and they were still leaning into one another. Levi wouldnt complain of course, he was completely satisfied with this.

The wind played with a few loose strands of Emi's white hair. She looked up at him and decided that she needed to know if that was what was really going on with her because she didn't want to lead him on if it wasn't true. It did kind of scare her that it was a possibility, though.
She softly kissed his cheek.

(lol, you were the first to say goodnight this time, and it's 4am here... Well, then, goodnight!)

He blushed a light shade of pink before staring over at Emi with a light smile set onto his face "are you alright?" he tilted his head and stared down at his young friend, she looked like she was concentrating on something, and this caused him to be unsure of what had been happening.

Emi blushed and then smiled softly again. "Yeah.. just trying to figure things out, still," she said looking back at him. She wanted to be shy and look away from him again, but she didn't. "I guess I'm so afraid of hurting you that I've been trying to keep from falling for you because that would just complicate things, you know, and I'm afraid I'd end up hurting you if we were anything more than friends." She sighed and reached up to touch the side of his face. "I think that's what's going on, anyway, and I'm rambling... am I making any sense at all?"

he chuckled and sweetly took her hand in his "you'll never hurt me, Emi, there's only one way that someone can hurt you" he said in a soft but comforting tone of voice "is is if you let them" his infamous smile spread back over his lips, as he stared down into her eyes.

He paniced at his choice of wording before calming down and realizin he could still fix it "what i mean is.. I like you, alot, and if i were to be weak.. that's the only way i could let you hurt me" he sighed then smiled again "no matter what happens, my feelings will never change for you"

Emi felt a bit relieved that he wasn't that worried about it, but she couldn't help but worry a bit still. Her relationships in the past always had ended very badly and she figured it was her fault, and she was worried about making the same mistakes again. It had been over fifty years since her last relationship ended, though, so she hoped that maybe she had grown and matured since then and the same things wouldn't happen.
"Ok," she said softly. "I'll try not to worry."

(oookay, sorry! didnt know lol. >_> hehehe :sweat:)

"it's only normal to worry" he chuckled and gently brushed his cheek against the back of her heand "jut try not to worry as much" he gave her a playful wink and kissed her hand, he was in a very good mood, and couldnt figure out why. This baffled him, but didnt worry him.

He somewhat understood why she was so withdrawn. He figured that she had other relationships that, like his, didnt work out well.

(It's ok :) you didn't know that my computer hates me)

Emi giggled a little when he kissed her hand. "Of course!" she said. "I don't think I could ever stop worrying altogether."
She leaned in closer as if she was going to kiss his cheek again, and then she stopped and pulled back a little and sighed. She was going to have to be more careful, she was afraid she was going to slip back into her old ways, and she didn't want that.

(very true! >_> computers can be very wierd at times and very Iffy too)

he smiled, sensed what she was going to do, then wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in close. His hands trembled once he realized that Ceilia's sister was watching them from some place unseen he knew she was there.

His guard rose high once he realized a dart had been shot from an acient style of weapon, and this agrivated him, he caught it and dropped it to the ground "we might have to stay at my home tonite" he whispered in her ear.

Emi's heart fluttered a bit when he pulled her closer to him. She was a bit startled when he seemed to grab at or catch something, she wasn't sure, but she knew that she had let her guard down and she stiffened and almost disappeared in a panic. He didn't seem quite as bothered, so she relaxed, hoping he had the situation under control. When he whispered, she figured it must be someone was watching them, so she went back to the act, which wasn't so hard now, yet still a bit awkward.
"Ok," she whispered back, and then pulled back a little and kissed him on the cheek. She then pulled back enough that she could face him, and then asked a bit louder, "So, shall we go home now, then?"

(I really need to go to sleep... goodnight)

he nodded and smiled then leaned in whispering something to her "Ceilia's sister is watching and tried to harm you" his voice was in a slight panic once he seemed to say this. He picked her up bridal style and walked back to his childhood home, which was guarded by several stones, making sure that the offender wouldnt be able to cross forth into his domain. He grinned widely and proudly, setting her back onto her feet and staring down into her eyes "father, just before he died, added a television in the back room, we have various radios and about eighteen different bedrooms. I will be sleeping in my parent's old bedroom, which, has a seperate bed to it if you'd like to sleep there" he chuckled "or you may sleep wherever you feel comfortable" he was rather formal, but, just as sweet as any other day.

(haha, the Levi and Emi stuff isn't really that important right now, it's just going quicker because they're not tied up with other characters at the moment, I think.)
(I'm not entirely sure where they are, though. They're not in Centre-Mina anymore, they're in some smaller village somewhere. Maybe Kaelin knows, since it was Levi that teleported them)

Emi nuzzled him playfully as he carried her back. She was still worried about Ceilia's sister, wondering how bad it must really be if she wants her harmed. Levi seemed to feel safer once back in the house, though, so Emi relaxed a bit more as well.
"Oh, I don't need a whole bed to myself," she said. Then she realized how that sounded and blushed. "I-I mean, all I really need is a pillow or something small like that like last night."

Having no other choice Allene left Centre-Mina and retreated to a cabin in the Kradin forest, a forest in the heart of neutral territory. She'd left a message at the Inn hoping Kirin would get it and if he so chose follow her, but something was wrong and she felt it. She needed to get somewhere out of the way for a while and the cabin was a good bet. For the most part neutral races would be all that she would have to contend with which was far more appealing the any of the warring races.

Allene stood infront of the door to the cabin. Somehow it seemed daunting, like something horrid awaited her on the other side of the thick pine door. Inserting the key she unlocked the door and entered. It was dark, but she could see fine due to the hightened vampire senses. She noted that it had been recently cleaned and the fridge stocked with blood aswell as food, as she had called and requested. A friend of hers in the area watched over the little cabin while she was away. She walked softly into the bed room and smiled at the fresh sheets on the king sized bed. Flopping unceremoniously on the bed she almost immidately fell fast asleep.

"Well, It's no matter... Let's find the pregnant one, if your information is correct." Lland looked Niniel in the eye, not really sure where to begin. "Where shall we go then? You where the one who stayed and listened,yes?"

Niniel looked back at Lland and crossed her arms. "She didn't say much after you left," she said. "I had to ask her about the vampire bit, it was something I noticed when she was talking... um, but she didn't say much else and it wasn't like the idiot was coming up with any smart questions to ask." She sighed. "And I don't know where to start, it's not like I know anything about vampires. I usually try my best to avoid them."

"Well, They should be around... They won't be scarce here, at least. After all, this continent is greater territory till up north, so it shouldn't be hard to catch one or two in the day." Lland thought about where vampires would be most reasonably at. There had to be at least a town where vampires would mostly inhabit, after all, they worked in groups following their turner, right? At least, It made sense to Lland. "We should find someone who knows more about them, Then we may get answers for a place to go."

Niniel was getting tired. She wasn't used to being up late at night, being more of a daytime creature. "Why don't you ask your vampy friend?" she asked, and then looked around and noticed that the vampire was gone. "...wherever she went to.."

"She is as much of a friend to me as The has-been human is to you." Lland responded, making a note to speak less with the Vampire so they didn't look so... friendly. "And I would, but as you have noticed it seems she has left. Perhaps ignoring her was getting rather dull" Lland stared at the spot the vampire had earlier been. "Well, we can start tomorrow. It's a bit dark for daylight eyes."

Niniel nodded. "I see," she said. "To be honest, I'm not even sure where we are, I'm not too familiar with Greater territory and I don't really have the money for a room either." She sighed and rubbed her forehead. This was just a bad situation for her in general.

"Fine, fine." Lland opened up a pouch she carried and begun digging around. "A mile east of here you can find a small town with a bar and that place you people sleep in." She pulled out some money and stuffed it in Niniel's hand. "This should pay for it. once you wake up meet me at the well. It's behind the bar..." Lland hoped that information was correct, as she had really only heard it from a wayfarer. "At that time I will have asked around about a pregnant vampire, or at least a place they are abundant."

{err.. you don't have to do that, just being kinda bossy...}

(hehe, no that's fine :) I'm just glad this is going again.)

Niniel was reluctant to take the money, but she had no better ideas and she was tired.
"Fine, but I'll pay you back as soon as I can," she said. "I don't like taking charity. I'll see you in the morning, hopefully."
She turned and left, not feeling entirely safe wandering through the greater city on her own and unarmed. She cursed a bit that the guards had confiscated her weapons as it made her so vulnerable at the moment. She finally found the inn and took a room, but stayed in the bar for a bit to see if she could find anything out. Unfortunately, she didn't really have much in the way of people skills and the people didn't seem to know anything that they'd be willing to share either, so she eventually just retired to her room for the night. It felt good to actually sleep in a real bed for a change, though. As she fell asleep, she was trying to figure out how she was going to repay Lland for this.
