Neil nodded. "I'm waiting for something?" The fox pup jumped up on the bed next to him and sniffed at him hungrily. He dug out a piece of something hard, jerky by the looks of it, and handed itto the pup. "I like this ship." he said simply.

"Oh, really? You aren't seasick? Nothing like that, eh? Well, I saw this delicious meat rolled pie the other day. Anyway, I've actually never had one and well, they are rather popular, so do you want to have a half? It's not really unhealthy, but its got cream on top. And chocolate. You could just scrape it off though..." Faul stopped at a knock at the door. He opened it, and was requested alone for a few minutes. As he returned, he didn't look so happy or interested in food. "The Phoenix's ball was bombed," he said "They are dead."

(I'm considering making yet another character as Kaelin has mysteriously vanished, so Emi is kind of stuck for now, and, well, Niniel is wandering by herself for now... but, yeah. Any suggestions for race? I'm just curious if you'd like to see something different or more of a certain one.)

[[I dunno, maybe a nuetral race since there is only one of those floating around. hehe]]
Neil looked at Faul with wide eyes. "What?" He stood, fear washing over him. He couldn't think that Neil had had anything to do with that, could he? He'd been running for weeks now, he 'd barely had the chance to eat or stop to sleep let alone plan a pointless bombing. "That's horrible!" he said turning pale.

Odette fell in step with Craven, letting him lead where he wanted to go. It felt good to have a brother again.

(yes, and I'm sure that Lland is just so ready to fall in love <3 jk. But, yeah, I'm still thinking... What exactly is meant by "water folk?" Like mermaids or what? We're equal as far as girls and guys go right now, so I'm considering making it a girl character since I play those better anyways.)

Reading into Niel's reaction, Faul decided maybe it had not been the best idea to tell him. He was upset to a larger degree than imagined, to a point that it in fact, looked suspicious. If everything to do with this and the Guard coming, there would be a problem. But it was more than likely over analyzing the situation. "Did you know them? You seem a bit shaky."

[[hmm.... I saw it as more humanoid but eh, do whatever you want with it. Waterfolk is basically, make them very much associated with water]]
Neil shook his head. "No, but they were making a good effort... with the ball and all, trying to set us Lessers up nicely. Making us not quite so... Less." he sighed. "They were good people... How bad was the bombing?" he asked, wanting to know if it was the people he'd been working with before.
Craven bounced happily into the park and smiled. He wanted to change and run about a little but resisted the urge, he felt young and boyish once again. "So, what did you do for fun when you were little?" he asked randomly.

(I've decided that too... I'm playing it more as the classical greek mythology water nymph, probably nereid (sea nymph) which would have a human form)

Odette's face turned graven at the question. She never really had a childhood. She looked ahead, fighting to stay emotionless. Tonelessly, she said, "I sang."

"The whole place came down, pretty much. A lot of death. Like I said." Faul really didn't know what else to say, and it was getting a bit awkward, though he didn't speak.

"Thats aweful." he said and then feeling sick both frlom the news and the rocking of the boat he stood and ran to the bathroom and threw up.
"You should sing for me." Craven said still bouncing a little.

{Thats Okay.}
"I uh," Odette stammered. She grimaced a little before quietly beginning to sing. She had alwasy loved singing when she was a little girl. It was the only thing she could do to entertain herself. "The cold wind blows over the heather..." Her voice wavered, and she stopped singing.

(mkay, here goes. I can change it if it's not ok.)
Asia was swimming along as usual when she noticed a ship in the distance and got curious. She was to it in a couple of minutes, and she called up a bit of water to help her up onto the deck. Her appearance caused quite a stir, of course, among the sailors.
"Hey! Whatchya doin' here?!" one asked her angrily. "We don't like stowaways."
Her violet eyes flashed, rather insulted by his accusation.
"I have come here to bring your ship good luck," she said. "Don't cross me or I'll insure you have a miserable voyage, sir!"
With that, he backed off a bit, which caused her to calm back down. A smile crossed her face as she began to walk across the deck as she'd always enjoyed the lovely ships the other races made.

Wanting some fresh air Neil wondered up to the deck and saw a spectacular sight. "What..." he moved closer, caustiously looking over the creature. She was one of the waterfolk, he'd never seen one in the flesh just pictures in books and heard descriptions from old sailors. "Are you..." he reached out slowly then pulled back remembering himself. "I'm Neil, who are you? how did you get here?"
Craven smiled. "come now, sing for me, you've a beautiful voice." He smiled and then patted her shoulder. "And I would know, after all thats how I pay my bills."

Asia was a bit startled, and she smiled gently as she looked the shapeshifter over. She was a bit annoyed that a passenger could recognize her before a sailor could.
"My name is Asia," she said. "And I swam here." She giggled a bit at her own explanation. "And you are...?"

Faul followed Niel up to the deck. At this point he didn't want to eave him alone for too long, as he was suspicious of him. He gave him space but watched as he introduced himself to a new lady on the ship. Odd for a neutral to be on board. Usually they would get on once we stop at the dock...

"heh, Neil Taygen. Shapeshifter..." he said a little embarassed. "I'm sorry if I'm bothering you, I've just..." he felt yound and silly. "I've never seen a Waterfolk before... not in person... just heard a lot of stories... About Watery Angels or Demons of the deep." he laughed a little. Neil noticed faul and wondered if he would join them or stay back, he didn't seem to think Neil was trustworthy or something he thought.

Odette gulped. He was right about him knowing, but she wasn't sure about her voice. She stopped walking and turned her back on him, closing her eyes. "The cold wind blows over the heather," she whispered. Her voice grew louder adn stronger as she sang. "The salt wind blows over the sea. The hash wind blows down from the mountains. And brings acold winter to me." She only knew part of teh next verse, so she didn't start it.

"Nice to meet you, Niel," she replied. "Watery angels and demon, hm?" She grinned. "I suppose I could be a little of both, depending on my mood. That is an interesting way to put it, though." She noticed the other man eyeing them suspiciously as well. "Is that your friend?" she asked.

[Why does everyone always ruffle my hair? First, Hunter and Mark, now Craven? Jeez.]
Odette brushed her hair back. She punched him in the arm, payback for messing up her hair. "I think I like the alto part better."
