@Charity: Really? I've never heard of that... my friend used to have very dry skin, so it made her arms very bumpy and flaky-looking. Sometimes that would irritate the hair follicles and they would infect. But good to hear it went away, though.

I think this is genetic or something, but my pinky is kind of a little bent [instead of perfectly straight] and my friend was like, "Whoa, your pinky's all weird. It's bendy."

It's not like it's... at a 90 degree angle, or something.

But it was pretty funny xD

Wow, thanks for the input everyone! I think the next time I can only bust out and laugh, and then they will think I'm a bit off. XD
Little hand feet, and extra fingers removed at birth, and barnacle cuts and everything! Lots of cool and interesting stories. Glad I whined about it.

I think that the manner of asking would have a lot to do with the situation.

Burtsing out with "OMG what IS that!?!" Is a lot worse that saying "I'm sorry, but I couldn't help noticing..."

But still, I was raised to mind my own business.

Unless somebody had like, a booger sticking out of their nose. XP

Yeah, having a total outburst is such a five year old reaction. I was also taught to mind my manners and my own business. Even to the point of not telling someone if they've got food in their beard. Some things, it is more polite to just admit that you are curious(In the case of the foot hand). That way, you actually honor them by being honestly interested, or by saving them embarrassment because they've got something hanging out of their nose.

I've never really had anything like that happen to me that I can remember.

But, my roommate once was asked when she was due. Except, you know, she wasn't pregnant. Then the stupid lady didn't even apologize when my roommate told her she wasn't pregnant. She was just like, "Oh" and walked away.

Seriously? Who would ask something like that. Unless a woman is about-to-burst-pregnant-looking, why would you ask something like that? I sure never would. I'd be too afraid they wouldn't be pregnant like in the case of my roommate. >.<; Geez people, come on.

XD That happened to my best friend. Somebody she didn't know ran up, put her hand on her belly and exclaimed "Oh my gosh! You're pregnant?!" But she's not. >__> I would NEVER ask somebody anything to do with their pregnancy unless they have, in fact, told me that they were pregnant.

@Celes - Up until a few years ago, I wouldn't tell people that they have food or something on their face. I was taught not to!

It also depends on who it is, honestly.

Oh geez. o _o;

I have some acne too, though it's getting better.
But one of my friends who has a knack for saying what's just on her mind said to me one day:
"Do you wash your face?"
And I just kind of stared at her with a "WTH?" face and go "Yes...o ___o; "
I keep myself clean, thank you very much > _<

But I have really bad skin, so I've been insulted a lot. *sighs* I have acne, chicken skin, and on top of that, I'm fairly overweight. :P Not the best package when it comes to beauty, huh?

people who don't have acne or hardly ever gets blemishes (like myself) don't necessarely realize that it can be all over your body. not just face.

I was very grossed out too when I saw someones BACK with acne skin.. it covered the whole back. I didn't scream or stare like she did though, but it was a "shock" to me a little bit xP that lady was really stupid though.

I'm so happy I don't have acne.

i had a very very bad acne break out at one point in my life (around last christmas) and truthfully it was the fact that i was stressing out over a major project. It determined if i passed or failed my Junior year, THANK GOD I PASSED! WOOT! SENIORS OF 2009!!! But anyways, yeah, acne can have alot to do with stress as well -blinks- it's rather common.

like you've already said, just cuz you have acne doesnt mean that you arent clean lol! it aint your fault that your skin is like that!

Yes.

I have a burn on my arm, from fainting from eating something really really hot, then landing on said hot thing. My dad is like "OMG WHAT THE HELL IS ON YOU'RE ARM!"...I just told him I fell, no need to detail the story. But he should know what a burn looks like. He walks into everything, after all.

I've always had acne, and pimples (though are almost always on my face) sometimes spring up in odd places. I take a shower everyday so it's not that I'm unclean, but I have had little cousins stare at me and laugh when I was having an outbreak. they are getting older now and starting to understand my misery...

I would've gone off on a tirade at them. How rude that a friend questions another friend's cleanliness! They know you don't they? Geez.

There are some things some people haven't seen before. This lady of yours probably hasn't really been out very much to see many wounds or I guess acne anywhere else other than the face. Also, some people never really grow up when they become adults. I personally don't really want to grow up because those adults who do mature and worry about all those adult things get more wrinkles :P If you stay young at heart, you'll look a lot fresher and younger when you do grow old.
