I'm doing pretty good. :D Finishing up my preparations for Anime Expo, celebrating the one-year anniversary of the concert I went to last year's Anime Expo for, and...my dad fixed up his old motorbike today and is letting me use it. That's fun. XD
How are you doing today?

Especially the motorbike. XD

Yes...the motorbike is FUN.
I'm gonna get to go to the area outside of my town ON MY OWN for the first time. :D Used to be I had to go with my parents because I have a restricted license. >.<;
So what's the weather like where you are? I'm in Southern California...and right now there's a bit of a heat wave where I'm at.
Kinda sucks, since I NEVER go out of the house without my favorite jacket on anymore. XD;;;

Oh dear. I don't think it's that hot here as it is there. XD It's 26 degrees Celsius, 78 degrees Fahrenheit. So it's not bad. A cool breeze here and there...
Aw, that does kind of suck. D;

Haha, don't worry - when I do get to go, I probably won't be able to shut up about it. XD It probably won't be until next week, though. I've got a busy week ahead of me. :sweat: In the fun way, though. X3
Sounds nice out there. :yes: I think it was...90-something Fahrenheit over here today. XD;;; I don't know, but it's been hot. Better than it HAS been...but still pretty damn hot.
And hey, it's not so bad - if it were REALLY a problem, I COULD just not wear the jacket. XD But I'm really attached to the jacket...so I choose to ignore the heat and wear it anyway.
Besides which, I take heat well. Not so much direct sunlight...but just heat? I can deal with it. :sweat:

@Sonikki: I wonder if I'll be any better now that I've improved at the actual guitar? I haven't tried in a while...I'm afraid the whole hand-eye coordination thing would shake me, though. :sweat:
And seriously? That's kinda awesome. XD
@Kieran: Yeah...the weather's been pretty crazy here. @ [email protected] Luckily, I'm dealing with it well. Really my only problem with it is that I sunburn VERY easily. That's...actually a small part of the reason I always wear the jacket. :sweat: As long as I have that on and keep my face shaded, I'm fine.
I can take the cold a lot better than most people from my area, too. o_O

(OH MAH GAWD. I'M NOT DEAD.)
@Fullmetal
like.. Totally. It'll help a LOT on Guitar Hero. My brother had a friend, he was a guitarist for a band, kay? Well, he's never played Guitar Hero. But he picked it up one day when he was over here and started playing it.
He could start off on medium.
And.. Well, I played against him, me using a regular PS2 controller, and like.. a kicked his butt. (I play on medium with the PS2 controller.)
But anyway.
He was a lot better, for just starting off. So I think you'd do great. :3
Oh yes. I officially love you for the donation. I'm gonna like.. save up a bit more and buy something to wear. Cuz like. nekkid avvie = not cool.

...wow, I could have posted a long time ago. XD;
@Kieran: I find that dark-colored parasols tend to help me a lot, actually...but light-colored ones do make it worse. >.<;
@Sonikki: Well then, I'd better just hope I can find the lefty flip option the next time I get to play. :sweat:
I'll probably still suck at it...but hell, MAYBE it'll help me with my speed when it comes to reading tabs and whatnot. It may be FAR from being so complicated...but it's the same basic principle; turning something you're watching into movements in your hands...so it could be useful for me.
I just hope to god I can get my hands on the game. It...won't exactly be easy over here. XD;;;;
BY THE WAY - teleporter's going...well, interestingly. I went to work on it last night and forgot to turn it off...my left arm ended up getting teleported out to a nearby campground.
Thank god I found it and stitched it back on in time for it to accept. XD; And I think the teleporter did something weird to it; it's not even scarred now. A little sore, but you can't even see what happened. :O

@Fullmetal:
Options - umm... Game options or something.. = Lefty Flip. xD
It'd be SO funny on Guitar Hero 3, like.. If we played battle.
See, you get these powerups, and you can attack the other player. Make them where they have to push a certain button to "fix" a string, push in their whammy bar fast or something..
And Lefty Flip. (Or in case of someone actually playing lefty, righty flip. xD)
And that one ALWAYS gets me.
Seriously. That's the one on the final boss battle that usually kills me. :lmao:
My brain won't work. xD
But yeah, it should help with your coordination and speed, and well, you can always use hyper track if it's not fast enough. it speeds the song up a bit. *nod nod*
Or, if it's TOO fast (which, you need to learn it that way anyway.) you can go into practice and slow it down a bit.
But.. I can't keep the rhythm with it slower.
Anywho...
lawls!!
Well, at least it went back on alright.

...you know what would be funny? If I just flipped the controller over when that happened.
Because I CAN play right-handed...just not for extended periods of time. XD;;
Reminds me of one of the baseball highlights I saw today. I usually don't care for watching sports, but it was hilarious.
Basically, it was a switch hitter up against a switch pitcher. The batter wanted to bat with the opposite hand as the pitcher pitched with, because that puts him at an advantage...little did he know, the pitcher had a mitt with two thumb holes so he could switch just as easily. They were fighting each other for a while.
It made me laugh. A lot. XD
...d00d. I just thought of something. They make DDR pads for computers...I wonder if they'll make it so GH can be played on a computer?
Because THAT would be awesome beyond words.
And yeah, I'm very glad it went back on okay. XD

:lmao: It's harder than you think. ESPECIALLY if I unleashed it on you right in a solo or something. You'd be screwed.
I beat my brother (he plays hard.) at battle in like.. three powerups. Once one finished, I'd unleash another on him, then so on. He failed horribly.
My friend.. OMG. I beat her in like.. thirty seconds. (stupid Easy level!)
I bet that was hilarious!! XD
OH! YES! They do!! You just reminded me! They DO have Guitar Hero 3 for the computer!! You may have to order it online, but I saw it once at walmart! But only once. xD;
But yes, they do!! YAY. Too bad I'm not like.. rich, then I could buy it and go online with you. xD

XDD I'd imagine it would be more than just a bit difficult...but it would still be easier if the direction my hands were moving actually corresponded with the way things on the screen went.

My right hand needs to be coordinated too. |D
I want to see that comic.
I'M SO FREAKIN SERIOUS. I DON'T KID ABOUT GUITAR HERO.
Try... Best Buy.com. Or Circuit City.
It was funny. I cheated on Super Mario Galaxy one time.. It was a room thing, you had to hurry to the top because sand was piling in the bottom, and you were walking on the ceiling, so it was totally messed up, so like.. I turned upside down on the bed and did it.
I kept dying and dying, but when I did it like that, I was better. xD I finally beat it.

God I wish I had more money. I'm making a commission detail journal on dA now...^^;
It's a shame I can't set any concrete prices because of the nature of things like what I make. D:
But I'm gonna start making armwarmers and stuff like that too. So YAY, more things to sell. :D
Yay for cheating! XD

I still have to find more information on the details of the trip and all that; see if it's reasonable for me to plan on going this time or if I should wait a year or so (and make it a business trip XD)...but yeah, I'll definitely wait until I at least know that.
Unfortunately, I'm not gonna have a hell of a lot as far as set prices go. XD;;; Everything depends largely on how much it costs and how long it takes to make it - and that's gonna vary hugely from piece to piece. I'm gonna try and give some ballpark estimates, but...definite prices are gonna be tough. ^^;
Whoever said cheaters never win never tried cheating at a video game. XD

Yeah...it really is hard to figure out prices for things. I mean, I WANT to charge enough to make a good profit (and that's not easy considering how the economy is going; how fast material costs are rising), but I still want to be able to sell some stuff. Finding that place is not easy. ^^;
Go right ahead. XD
Anyway, I'm gonna go see if I can find more supplies. I'll be back in a few minutes. ;p

Yeah, exactly.
I wouldn't mind making some clay figures to sell locally, (especially if I made the collegiate mascots, which I have done before. I made one for my brother and everyone at his workplace LOVED it and told him to tell me that I could SO sell them for about $15 or more.) but.. It's a lot of work making my things out of clay.. ESPECIALLY something like that bulldog.
