I'm back, and with a ton of hairpins, barrettes, ribbon, and other assorted things I desperately needed. Now I can make a ton of big things AND tiny little things that I can sell for $5-15 without undercutting myself by even one penny. Whoo. :D

I'm gonna have to go out of town for a lot of things, unfortunately. I think I'm gonna end up making the lotus into a choker. It's probably better that way anyway, because it seems a lot more reasonable to spend $50-60 on a choker than a hair clip.

A lot of work really does go into these things...and a lot of people who buy them don't realize that. D: If I sold at the prices I'm sometimes recommended by people who usually sell imported mass-produced things, I'd be making less than minimum wage if you factor in how much the materials cost. :<

Yes, it probably will look better that way. Actually, it would look pretty awesome both ways; I'm really proud of that one. X3 But the way I'm working it out, I'm liking it - basically it's going to be tied into the middle of a triangle of gold bead netting with gold and clear crystals and gold and black pearls.
This one might actually sell for a lot. The color scheme is versatile, and it's one of the most unique things I've ever come up with. I cannot wait to get it finished and take pictures. X3

I have the purple kimono - they...um...released it while I was on vacation. Which was REALLY cruel of them. XD;;; I absolutely HAD to snatch it up. It's like my virtual concert souvenir.
And thank you - that's what I was going for. It's funny...I've started using my avatar to try out possible ideas for future stage costumes. I wouldn't copy anything exactly...but I'm sure getting a lot of ideas from items here. X3

Whoo...I'm back...and good god, I am starving. D: I...really hate my mother right now. More so than usual. e_e She does NOT respect the fact that I'm trying to lose weight. At all. She just dragged me out to the middle of nowhere, and all we had to eat was the food she brought.

Which was barbecued chicken, barbecued pork, barbecued ribs, french fries, and onion rings. NOT EVEN A FUCKING VEGETABLE - unless you count the onion rings, and the breading and oil negated any positive health effect THAT could have had.

Needless to say, I didn't eat much. I had the smallest piece of chicken and scraped off most of the sauce. And...it even tasted disgusting. I...should have just insisted on staying home.

I'm going to go microwave myself something. I need some actual semi-edible food now...XD;;;

Anyway...thank you! I was trying to make it pretty different. :3 I'm trying to make my things different from what you usually see, so people don't go "Oh, lets get this one instead; it's similar, but cheaper," you know? Because like I said, if I'm competing with generic imported stuff...that doesn't really work. :sweat:
But this one is mine. I am keeping it. I have only made three roses with these beads...and two of them, I gave to...someone else. X3 So this one is special.

The kimonos are newer items, so they're a little bit better as far as the quality of the pixel art goes...though the yukatas are also really good for older items. I'm going to be getting one soon...I just want to get a little more gold up so I don't feel broke when I do. I hate going under 100 gold. :sweat:

Yeah, seriously. >.<; I'm really trying HARD to lose weight; I'm TRYING to cut back on bad fats and carbohydrates, as well as starches and replace that with protein and fiber (the good kind of carbohydrate, according to what I've been reading), and so far the cutting back has been going fine...but the replacement, not so much. That woman is going to drive me to an eating disorder. >.<;

HEY. Having a dream about HIM is better than the weird one I had. I stayed up playing Metroid Prime 2 last night, and this freakin' shadow monster was trying to possess me.
Well, that induced a creepy dream. I was trying to freakin FIGHT those things while protecting my friend.
NO power suit either, not like Samus. So I would be easily possessed by them.

Um.. Yeah. No more staying up until after midnight playing MP2. ESPECIALLY if I've gotta fight some of those.

I figured out a solution for my own case...and I think I'm going to go for the "clean it up yourself" rule. Either leave it outside, or YOU clean it up. I like that.

But the NEW new rule - Under no circumstances is ANYONE to give Amani foods containing added sugar.
I don't even like sweet foods...and on the rare occasion I DO get a craving for them, it always ends badly. XD
