"Me?" Julietta looked around a grimace on her face. "Now?" Of course her mother had made that quite clear; yet she still had felt the need to question it. Well, this wouldn't be too hard, and it would get one hunter out of the way.

The sounded of breaking glass in the kitchen came as a distraction and she stopped walking towards the hunter. She had intended to peek in and see what the disturbance was, however there was no need, as the blond huntress emerged from the kitchen smirking, as she held their maid immobile, with a hand covering her mouth.

"How about a little trade?" Victoria asked, "The maid for Adrien? Or the heiress even? Otherwise I could slit her throat right now." Her gaze fell on the twins and her smirk widened. "You did say not to follow correct? So I used a side window instead. Hope that works for you."

“Yes you. Now,” Helen snapped, irritated from both lack of sleep and the problems arising. As a familiar face emerged from the kitchen, Helen’s eyes widened as she saw who Victoria was holding onto. Ready to make a move, the queen was stopped by a voice growling, threatening the huntress.

Leaning against the wall and yawning, Charles continued to watch everyone around him, uninterested until the huntress barged in and demanded a trade. He immediately stood up straight, anger darkening his face as he growled, “Let go of her before I kill him,” he warned, and Charlené turned to look at her brother. The temperature of the room had dropped significantly, and she could see her own breath in the air. Looking over at the queen for help, Charlené watched as a dilemma seemed to overcome the queen herself.

Unexpectedly, the hunter grabbed her by the arm and flipped her around, since her grip at loosened as she thought over things.

Listening to their conversation, Adrien suddenly felt the vampire’s grip on him loosen. Grabbing her by the arm, he flipped her over and slammed her onto the ground, completely mobile now.

Victoria looked over at Adrien, before looking over at Charles, and smirked. "Now, you could try a please." She paused, "Besides, I'm not too worried about you going and killing Adrien," She paused, "He's perfectly capable and taking care of himself, and even if you do; which you wouldn't have a chance to," Another paused, and Candy shuddered as she ran her finger down Candy's throat. "I know, I'm against feeding off humans, but I wouldn't mind seeing the color of blood, wouldn't you?"

Julietta glanced towards her mother, knowing that she should do something, but unsure of what, she watched the others carefully. Making up her mind, she hurried to the male hunter, and grabbed his arms, twisting them behind his back. They didn't need to hunters running around the house, holding him there, her fangs extended and she ran her fangs along his neck.

Struggling in her grip, Adrien smirked and knocked Julietta down with a leg sweep. “It’s going to take a lot more than that to keep me down,” he laughed, bursting out the door with amazing speed. Racing down the familiar path, two glints of metal caught his eye and he skidded to a halt, leaning down to pick the two guns up.

Well, this was going to be fun. With his guns to his sides, he strolled back to the house. Peeking through the door again, he aimed Noire straight at the queen, who was at considerable length and Blanc at the heiress. “It wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t have my guns, now would it?” He was about to pull the trigger when he felt his feet freeze onto the ground, courtesy of the only male vampire in the room.

Ready to tackle Victoria down, Charles was held back by Charlené, who had put her hand on his arm to stop him. Just as quickly as the princess had grabbed onto the hunter, he had knocked the princess down and dashed off somewhere to reappear moments later, pointing guns at the Royals’ head. With a soft growl, Charles slammed his fist down onto the wall, and froze the hunter on the spot. “Drop the guns.”

Helen was shocked at the progress; she had never seen such neck-to-neck fighting between hunters and vampires. With a polite smile, the queen cast a sideways glance at Victoria, “If there is human blood spilled, we will all succumb to bloodlust. Even you, who has rejected blood of a human for so long. You will turn into one of us fully and lose your conscience if you smell even a drop of her blood. She is no ordinary human, her blood is precious.”

Victoria frowned, and released Candy for a second to examine one of her pale hands before grabbing the girl by the back of her dress. She examined her for a moment, before her gaze met Helen's. "Really now?" She said, as one hand pulled a dagger from a pocket of her black pants. "She doesn't look that special to me."

Holding the dagger to Candy's throat, she added. "We could always just trade. Her for......the princess maybe? Or even yourself?"

She glanced towards Adrien and her frown deepened. That was just perfect.

Julietta brushed her hair out of her eyes and stood back up, glaring at the hunter. And the saying 'If looks could kill,' probably would have ran through the mind of any spectator. Looking thoughtful, she rushed past her mother, and up the stairs, reammerging a moment later with what was apparently a small marble.

Though of course, it was anything except that, and in actuality an explosive. Tossing it out the window, she flinched at the resulting explosion that occured almost instantaneously followed by crash of trees. She had hoped this would work to distract the hunters, and get them to investigate it long enough, that way her mother might be able to tell them what to do.

Glancing out the window, she grimaced. Well, that was lovely, the trees were burning of course, and as she glanced towards Victoria she noticed that the blond was too immersed in whatever had caught her attention to take notice of the distraction. Her gaze moved to Adrien as she waited for his reaction.

For a single moment, Adrien stuck his head out the door to see what the matter was. Dismissig the fact that trees were burning, he shrugged. Not much to do other than continuing pointing the guns at vampires. He heard Victoria negotiate with the queen, and watched as the male vampire looked determined, a bit anxious even as he stared at the human girl.

Proceeding to point Blanc at the heiress again, he still couldn’t move. Instead of thawing, the ice started to grow up his feet, securing him there on the floor.

Helen looked up, putting on a cold façade on her face. “For Julietta or me?” she laughed, it was a harsh, formidable laugh that filled the air. “I suppose so, then. Julietta, go. If you make it out alive, you are ready to take over. If you don’t, well… That is a different matter. Your father and I have been thinking of giving you a coronation as this anyways.” Read: She has been thinking of giving Julietta a coronation like this. Vincent generally had no say in how Helen ruled the household.

“Now hand the girl over.”

Victoria pushed the girl towards Helen and looked at her daughter. "Come on." She said quietly, "We're leaving." Julietta looked more than a little nervous as she walked over to the blond, who glanced at the twins. "You can let him go now, you know." She added bitterly, "We'll be out of your hair soon." With a meaningful look at Adrien, she grabbed Julietta by the arm and walked through the front door.

Candy watched as the huntress left with the heiress and glanced towards th other in the room before looking at Helen curiously, wondering if it was really a good idea for the queen to let her go like that. She brushed her hair out of her eyes, and watched the others. Subconceously, she touched her throat where Victoria had run her finger over it and shuddered. Her skin seemed to crawl in that place.

Charlené snapped her fingers, a flame bursting into her hands and the ice immediately turned into water. With a silently annoyed grunt, the older twin paced across the floor to their queen. “Your Majesty, is that such a good idea?” she asked, concerned. “Are you… alright?” Charles breathed, reaching for Candy. “It’s my fault; I shouldn’t have left you there. I was under orders to watch over you…”

As soon as the female vampire released him, he stepped out of the door, Blanc still pointed at Julietta. “Not so cocky now, are we, princess?” he said mockingly, eyes fixed onto the heiress. “Now what do we do with her?” he turned to ask Victoria.

The queen only shook her head, a frigid smile on her lips. “If Julietta survives, she is ready for anything. Don’t worry about it too much. Charlené, Charles, stay with Candy in case they come back. I will talk to the Nobles about this incident right now.” Slipping out the backdoor, the queen shook her head thinking things over.

"Well, we shouldn't kill her yet." Victoria said as she watched Julietta look at the ground. "We can use her after all," She paused, "Frankly, I don't think we should plan a raid, with or without the other hunters without the details on the place. And Im sure this lovely young lady will give us all the details."

Julietta said nothing and merely continued to look at the ground. Hell will freeze over first... she thought when Victoria finished speaking. She looked at the other.

"So....what are you going to do?" She asked bitterly.

Candy looked up at Charles, "It's not your fault." She said quietly, "It's technically my fault, I mean if I had paid attention to where I was going, and hadn't run into the other hunter, and if I didn't have such a big mouth, she never would have known exactly who I was." She looked at him for a moment before smiling slightly, "Besides I'm not hurt or anything......Freaked out, yes, but otherwise fine...."

Bored, he poked the gun at her back, prodding slightly. “So, are you going to talk? No, huh?” he stated more so than asking before yawning. “I guess we can take her to the inn and take turns watching her. After going all last night without sleep I’m tired. I’m sure you are too,” Adrien yawned again after he finished his sentence.

Smiling at her, Charles reached out to ruffle her hair again. “You’re alright, and that’s really all that matters.” A hand gripped onto his shoulders, and Charlené proceeded to drag him away, muttering, “Come on lover boy, and go watch the door while I stay with her.”

Victoria nodded and watched as Julietta remained silent and hopped off the front porch. "Sleep would be nice," Stifling a yawn, she followed Julietta off the porch. "I guess I can keep an eye on her first."

Candy sat down on the couch and looked around the room. So much for going home, at the moment she didn't think it was a great idea. Playing with the necklace she wore, she looked up at Charlene. She never had been one to start conversations, preferring to simply go along with what others started.

"So.........."

“Come on then,” Adrien answered, walking ahead of the pair. Keeping a close eye on Julietta, he walked down the path leading back to the village. Not too gracefully he arrived to the only inn in town and opened the door for the ladies to enter first. Again Adrien yawned. “Come on ladies we don’t have all day,” he grunted, slightly annoyed.

Sitting down beside her, Charlené attempted a smile. It was harder for her than it was for her twin, the fact was obvious as the girl tried to make her lips curl up. After a while, she gave up and began, “Who is my brother to you?” Fiddling with her light brown hair, Charlené looked at the silhouette of her twin leaning against the door.

"Hmm? You're brother is a really good friend of mine," She told Charlene. "I like him a lot," She paused before adding. "More than I should too." Looking around, she brushed her hair so that it hid her face which was covered by a blush. "...............Any particular reason for asking?"

The two entered the inn, and Victoria placed a hand on Julietta's shoulder and shoved lightly so she would walk faster. It was clear that the heiress and no intention of making this easy for her or Adrien. She looked over at Adrien, "Go get us a room, we'll be waiting over there." She said pointing to a table in the room where breakfast was usually served in the inn.

“I know, I know,” Adrien grunted back in response, heading over to the innkeeper’s counter. “Biggest room you have.” Shuffling through his coat to look for his wallet, he counted up the bills and handed the innkeeper the money. In exchange, the innkeeper gave him the key and directed him up to the room.

Tucking a lock of hair under her ear, Charlené gave a slow nod. “I’m his sister. I need to make sure my baby brother doesn’t get hurt,” she replied, “Mama has always been weak for a vampire when we were kids, and then they killed Papa off. He’s been holding up the family and still manages to stay cheerful.” Turning to Candy, the vampire took the girl’s hands in hers. “I can tell he likes you as much as you like him. It’s always Candy this, Candy that back home.”

With a soft smile, the vampire released Candy. The older twin kept the smile for a moment before reverting back to her old self. If Candy were to stay human, Charlené realized, it would all just be a heartbreak waiting to happen for both sides

Getting up, Julietta crossed her arns and walked away from Victoria and stopping at the stares. Turning to glare at the two hunters. Why had her mother had this idea? The family already knew she was capable of well........survivng, if she wasn't she'd have been six feet under by now. Leaning against the railing, she waited for Adrien to direct them to the room and ignored the blond as she approached.

Candy looked thoughtful for a moment before frowning slightly. "It couldn't work out though, could it?" She looked at the silhoutte of the twin at the door, and sighed. "I mean I'm a human, and he's a vampire. I'll get old, and die eventually...." Looking down once more, she closed her eyes and brushed her hair out of her face. "Lady Julietta actually, has discussed me being turned, and for awhile, I considered it. But I don't know if I could do it. Not now at any rate."

“Come on, princess,” Adrien growled sharply, taking her by the arm and pushing her up the stairs. Once the innkeeper was out of view, the blond pulled out his guns again, pointing it to her back. “Try to escape and I’ll end it right then and there.” With a nice faux smile, he stood in front of a room. Opening the door with the key, Adrien pushed her in, turning around to make sure Victoria had followed them.

Looking up at the ceiling, Charlené sighed, “Will it last?” She had a blank look on her face, indicating that the brunette was currently deep in though. “Only time will tell, Candy.” A few moments slipped past before Charlené turned her gaze to her brother, snapping, “Don’t sulk! For the love of darkness!” Stomping over, she grabbed her brother by the collar and literally threw him inside the house. Rubbing his neck, Charles shook his head. “She has a worse temper than the queen, I swear…”

Victoria had followed and Julietta entered the room silently. She had already decided that she was not going to speak one word to these hunters if she could avoid it. Though she was normally a very social person it wasn't exactly hard for her to simply ignore others, especially when she was ticked, which she was after all. She doubted Victoria would have actually done anything to Candy so she honestly hadn;t seen the point in the trade.

Candy smiled slightly looking at Charles, "Well it could be worse, right?" Looking around, she turned her gaze to him once more and tucked a strand behind her ear. "So, your sister and I had an interesting little conversation." She didn't say anything else as she watched the male twin, with a curious look upon her face.

“Conversation being…?” Charles asked, and he tensed up as soon as Charlené turned around and shot him a dirty look. The look practically screamed: Ask about it and I’ll skin you alive. Shutting up, Charles leaned back onto te sofa, clasping his hands and putting them behind his head. “I don’t get why Her Majesty’s willing to trade Julietta for you, though. She would have most likely traded herself, knowing the queen. I don’t get it…”

Sitting down cross-legged on the bed, Adrien kept Blanc pointed at he while he took off his coat with one hand, draping it over the foot of the bed. Keeping the gun up, he stared at her. “Well, are you going to sit down or stand there all day?”

"I don't know, I didn't think she would even agree to trade for me," She paused, "Humans are disposable after all, there are plenty of others." She was quoting a vampire that she had heard speaking in a tavern once.

Victoria sat down on one of the two beds, and Julietta sat down on a chair across from her. Her eyes were on the window for a moment but her gaze quickly moved to the hunters.

[Sorry its so short. I'm really sick right now, and the only reason I'm on is I can't stop coughing and its affectin my sleep.]

[size=1]“I don’t know… the queen is strange, but she knows what she’s doing. She probably has a reason,” Charles replied, reaching out to place his hand on her head. “Don’t worry about it too much.” There must be a reason for Her Majesty to be doing that. Lady Julietta can easily dispose of the hunters if they are in close range of each other, I suppose.”

Turning his gaze to Victoria, Adrien asked, “Well, do I take the first shift or do you? Because you look like you’re going to die at any moment now without sleep.” Falling back onto the bed, he kept a lazy eye on Julietta, but letting the gun drop to his side.

Candy nodded, and leaned back against the couch. Well now there was nothing to do here. Looking at him, she smiled weakly. "I suppose that's very true." Looking around the room, her smile faltered before she looked back at him. "All right.......so what now then?"

Victoria nodded, "Wake me up in an hour." She told him before laying down on the bed and shutting her eyes.

Julietta looked around the room, and frowned. At the moment she wasn't going to try anything. She knew it probably wouldn't take much to kill the human, and as for the vampire huntress, well, maybe she would like to see what it was like to have a stake through the heart. Looking thoughtful she glanced at Adrien.

"So...." She began quietly, "I hope you two know that you're not going to get anything out of me."

“We do what we do best, wait,” Charles said, looking relaxed against the couch. That was, before his sister shrieked out his name and causing him to fall off the couch. “I can smell them, hunters…” the brunette whispered to her brother, storm eyes flashing.

Shrugging, he responded to Victoria with a grunt. “Yeah, yeah, whatever,” he said to Julietta, examining both of his guns now, wondering if he should get another weapon. “So, mommy doesn’t want you anymore, now what are you going to do?” Adrien asked, almost taunting her.

(Would have replied sooner but our Internet wasn't working.)

Julietta watched him silently for a moment. A look of contempt in her eyes. "Funny." She said quietly, "But now that you mention it, that is a good question. I won't lie, I've obviously never been in this situation before and I can't say that I've heard of anybody who has." Standing up she walked to the window and looked out of it, closing her eyes she sighed before re-opening them and looking back at him.

"Perhaps you have an idea." The remark was sarcastic, and she turned away from him once more, playing with a strand of red hair. Turning to face him, she leaned against the window and glanced toward the sleeping form of the blond huntress and watched him silently.

"You know we don't necessarily have to be enemies." She said quietly, "Not all vampires are that bad."

Candy watched the two and frowned. Hunters? Already? Tha didn't take long, she didn't think they would appear that quickly, unless of course, there had been others in the area. She stayed silent and watched the other two.

Propping his head up, Adrien rose an eyebrow at the heiress. “I get along fine with Victoria, seeing she’s doesn’t go around sucking people’s blood. And she hates your kind’s guts. You really have to blame your mother that you’re here today. I wouldn’t be a hunter if she didn’t do what she did to my family.” Taking a glance at the huntress, he returned his gaze to Julietta.

Carelessly picking up his guns again, he aimed them at the ceiling. “Your people more than deserve what they’re getting right now.”

Charles stepped out, taking a whiff of scent from the air. “They’re not very… experienced ones,” he stated, eyes turning to his sister. She looked up at the sky, finishing his sentence for him. “Because there’s blood.”

Julietta frowned as she turned to face the window once more. "So you hunt most vampires because of something one vampire did." She paused before continuing. "That's typical But you know if vampires automatically killed because of the atrocities your race has commited, well it wouldn't be very long before both sides were wiped off. We'd have more than a tiny conflict on her hands." Glancing over at him, her hands rested in the pockets of black jacket. "Perhaps its a good thing that I wasn't born human."

Candy stood up and stepped outside, it was clear that the vampires' senses were much better than her own. She couldn't smell anything in the air, let alone hear anything out of her own hearing range. Looking around, she frowned before glancing at the twins.
