Read thousands of poetry books. Taking those silly advance writting classes worked, I suppose. Well, my poem basically define's what love is. It makes sense to me; a whole lot. (Sorry for the long, or short, non-understandable words. My friend, Dey, worked on this poem with me.

What Is Love? By Dezu and Dey <3

A longing after more than outward pleasure,
A digging to discover hidden treasure.
An Aesop's net, where mouselike you may see
A nibbling coney set a lion free.
The pleasant'st game that ever was invented.
The sweetest sin, so hard to be repented,
That makes the lawyer plead without a fee
And the divine commit idolatry;
That makes the daring soldier to prefer
A single combat far before the war;
Turns age to youth, that once again they might
In August taste of pleasant May's delight.

I hoped you enjoyed it. :)

It's beautiful, but it seems more like a lust/love sort of things, not fully love. But...that's just my opinion^^ I like it, very creative.

That's beautiful. How long ago did you write it?
