I say I don't like kids (because I don't), but when there are kids around, I can't help but be all nice and happy and stuff. But I never want to have kids of my own- I'd end up being one of those wishy-washy parents and I would hate that, but I wouldn't want to be too mean to my kids either. So I just wanna grow up and play with my brother's kids, once they have kids. ^^;

Little kids are annoying. Can't stand the little wastes of space. They whine, cry, eat your food, and break your things.

If I ever have kids (fat chance) I'm having them sent away until they're 10. Maybe even 13. Ugh.

How come cousins are the most annoying? I've babysitted three of mine at the same time. I don't think I'll volunteer for something like that again. Yes, I volunteered only because I figured since I was staying there for a couple of days, I might as well do something right? Wrong. Should've made up something to reject the offer. :angry:

I agree, maybe I'll have kids when I get married, and I'll wait till I'm at least 25 unless God wills otherwise. I LOVE kids, of all ages. Ages 2-6 can be really trying though, but they're so cute and I love them too. I went to a high school where they mixed middle school in with us. I have to admit, it's definitely a kill for the school experience.

I've never really had much experience with little kids, but just in general I find them rather annoying. Or I should say most of them annoying. I really hate unruly children in public places, like on the train, or in a restaurant. Or maybe it's more centered on the parent's not doing anything about them? Not sure. I'd like to have one or two kids in the future, but I'm not looking forward to their friends coming over. Hopefully I'll have twins or something so they can keep each other company.

I spent the last six weeks being one of the only competent instructors at a summer camp for 6-13 year olds. During our last session, we had 36 children between three instructors. The stories I have would make anyone here think twice about having children of their own. D:

My friend's son (5 years old) is actually pretty well behaved even if you don't take into account the fact that he's on the spectrum. He has things that upset him but that's expected and my friends deal with it straight away.

They're pretty much on the ball unlike his school, which are really pants.

But yeah kids that are screaming drive me nuts. I have hypersensitive hearing due to my being on the spectrum and the sound of a kid screaming actually hurts me. The store/place in question has to do something about it due to Aspergers being on the DDA/ADA and covered by many acts including the fact that they have to allow me access to their place and the screaming would prevent such access.

It depends on the little kid, actually. I cannot stand spoiled little brats who act snooty and bother me constantly and whine to their parents when you don't give them everything they want, with sugary toppings. My aunt's two children are a perfect example of that >_< My little cousin used to pester our small dog, and when it finally bit her because she tugged its ears hard, my aunt blamed the dog. At that moment I just felt like kicking the kid in the face and yelling that that's what happens if you hurt things with sharp teeth.

My boyfriend's two nieces, however, are the most adorable little girls ever. One is shy, but she likes to draw and she once copied a fairy I drew for her and gave the resulting drawing to me. The other is very spontaneous and likes to play games with us, and both of them are very polite. :3 If I ever have kids, I want them to be like that.

I think it all depends on the parents, though. If they don't teach their children that you can't get everything the moment you want it, don't teach them to ask "please" and speak with two words etc etc, where else should the kids learn it?

Little kids, ugh. This one kid I babysit is completely out of control and likes to jump of the furniture and tackle his dog until it lunges at him. He wants to eat junk food all the times and lies constantly. If I tell him he can't have something he will ask constantly for the next few hours. Like, he had waffles for dinner and decided afterwards he wanted chicken nuggets because that's what I had. I told him to get something else to eat and later on he still wanted the chicken nuggets. DX

I'd slap a kid if they did that and tell him/her to shut up, only if i was really pissed off. lol
I would most likely start yelling at him/her and insulting him/her every way i could.
I'm sorry but i don't like kids and i sure can't put up with all the bullshit they start.
