I dunno, most of the girls I've been attracted to are really straight and get all weird once they find out I like girls, or they're the kind of lesbian/bi/pan/poly that doesn't like girls like me. Actually, most girls I know get weird around me when they find out I like girls, regardless of whether I show interest in them. I think it's because I'm a touchy-feely kinda person. Plus, I've found that girls really like gay guys, but most guys I know only like lesbian girls if they'll make out in front of them. >_>

But I think it's hard to find someone to date regardless of orientation in high school. High school peeps are not pretty. :talk2hand:

For some reason, though, I think society is more okay with the idea of lesbians than gays, and I say that mainly because my super conservative ex was okay with the idea of lesbians, but not gays. Ass. D:<

Honestly, though, older men appeal to me more than anyone in my age bracket. I think it's just the mentality of people our age... You know? I feel a psychological link to older men, as well as physical. With people my age, I normally only feel a physical link. D: They're not as developed in the ways of intellect and... well, life experience as a whole. :roll:

And honestly, I haven't had much luck having friends just because I was gay. D: I imagined that, when I first came out, I'd become at least a lot more likable... But overall, I've just remained the same, although I've changed friend groups here and there and changed this way and that. People are still people, at least around here. They're too comfortable with their current way of life to bother branching out to someone, even if they're the kind of stereotype they want to add to their circle of friends. :lol:

I agree! I definitely find older people more attractive! *dreams of dentures and dementia* But really, I do find that I can connect more with people older than me. People always think I'm older than I am, too, so maybe I'm older on the inside and that's why I don't like people my age, because I don't like younger people. xD

I know what you mean. I came out to myself (I was in denial, but I didn't feel like coming out should be anything big, since my family is so accepting), and I expected people to treat me differently when I came out to them individually, but besides the odd girl feeling awkward around me, everyone was the same. I at least expected the GLBTQ community to like me more, but nope, they hate me just as much as before. >_>

Aw, I was unpopular for so many other reasons, no one really cared that I was bi too, lol

I totally feel ya on the whole 'older on the inside' bit. :heart: I've always felt disjointed from the people my age, as well as all of their issues, their opinions, mentalities, yada yada. :lol: Besides the fact that, currently, my best friends IRL are my own mother and my two aunts. Which is just sad. :oops:

I didn't get to go to public school. I had to hide from nazis with my great uncle, some lady with a perm and the village accountant in a one room soap factory until the end of the movie. It was a very confusing and lonely time.
