I remember centuries ago when there was the giving back auction, where items from banned accounts where auctioned off before the accouts were deleted.

I miss the giving back auctions. As I understood it the auctioneer was going to be taking over them instead of having them in the exchange forums.


If we were to have giving back auctions again I think it may be an idea if users could give unwanted items *cough*eggs*cough* to boost the auction.

Actually, I'm p. sure the Giving Back auctions ended 'cause we ran out of old and banned accounts to raid. xD

I'm not sure anyone would actually buy those eggs LOL.

We have plans. :) I wouldn't get rid of your eggs just yet, is all I'll say. But if you really can't bear to see them anymore, you can send them on to the Auctioneer?

Gizzie gave all her eggys to my charity some newbies kinda like eggys , Gizzie loves the eggy on head hat ^.^

I only kept one set of eggs for the sake of having them.

We never ran out of old or banned accounts. :P especially since we still ban folks. XD

I have hundreds of eggs on my mule. I used to play games to get a few spare gold on that account and use it to buy up all the 5g eggs on the market. I credit myself for them being worth over 100g now.

Well, I think there are still more than enough sitting around (on the accounts of people not intentionally hoarding) to completely over saturate the marketplace. I just think most people decided they weren't even worth selling and decided to just sit on them.

GBA will only ever run out of items if people stop logging on. The GBA had more than enough to last for 3 years, 4 years ago.

I love the eggs! I have enough of them to own a full set, but not too much that they take up too much space in my inventory.

Seriously though, there's hardly any big ticket items kicking around on banned accounts any more. Very few people get banned these days, and the ones who do don't have any items that are worth mentioning. The GBA was able to happen because of the load of cheaters who were around when Mene first got going, cheaters who accumulated V Day '07 items and so forth.

No one believes me when I tell them that my stars represent a bounty. But see- If you guys can bring my head to Jelly, she can raid my pockets for my old stuff and host black market auctions.
