Okay, I'll admit, I don't understand many things. And I will also admit that I don't see things the same way others do. But...

So my friend--you're all familiar with Rae--likes this guy (Cody). But she already had a boyfriend (Kyle) and didn't want to break up with him because she didn't want to make him feel bad or anything. (Personally, if I liked Cody enough to make him my boyfriend, I would've dumped Kyle. But people do things differently than I would have). So Cody decided to wait for her until she got out of that relationship.
But... in my point of view, he didn't wait for her at all.
You see, my dear blog readers, when he was 'waiting' he decided to start dating this other girl. And in my mind, when Rae told me this, I was all: "Well, if he likes you enough to make you his girlfriend, he shouldn't be dating that girl anyways! If he liked you enough, he would've waited for you--single. But in this case, he DOESN'T like you. He's toying with you. Playing on your feelings."
And then it turns out Cody's girlfriend goes to Egypt and dies in a sandstorm. (I'm being quite heartless here, but people die everyday--he'll get over it)
And to make matters worse, Cody had promised his girlfriend that if she died, he would date her two best friends.
-_-
That boy does NOT understand love.
I mean... neither do I, but I think I have a better concept of it.
I understand promises... but why promise to date someone you don't like?
Luckily, I managed to convince Rae that Cody would only hurt her. And that he wasn't worth her time. Or anyone's, but nobody else asked me, so...

And Cody reminds me of my friend Dave. Dave is a lot like Cody.
Because Dave used to date Rae (and no, I do not hate him for breaking up with her--I don't let myself get affected by such facts). And he said all these things (lies) about Rae being the love of his life, how he'd love her forever no matter what, et cetera, et cetera.
And a few weeks after their first kiss, they break up.
Then Dave goes on to my friend Vic (are you familiar with her? No... I don't think I mention her as often...) and he's like: "I broke up with her because I love you." (And Rae knew this. Their break up wasn't that bad. She understood.)
But Vic can't date until she's 16 (two more years) so Dave decided to wait until then (see anything in common?).
But does he really 'wait'? No. He goes on to date another girl. Vic always told me how Dave always told her that she was his soulmate, that he can't imagine living life without her by his side, that he can't imagine a future without her, that he will always love her--
And she actually believes him? After all that he's done to other girls? And he's dating a girl he doesn't even like?
Somehow, it just seems like he's cheating on her. Both of them. Toying with the feelings of poor girlfriend of his (who, I might add, is ALSO my friend).
Before the school year ended, though, Vic announced that Dave should just stop and go find some other girl who believed his every words.

Ah... happy endings xD
Dave's a conceited brat anyways.
