Open and accepting!

We really need people! D:

The Lake of Legends and the Castle of Gods

"Come gather 'round children; let me tell you a story.

Not far after time began, a god fell from the heavens, what we believe to be an accident. The fall from heaven to earth is almost enough to destroy a god. Almost. He tumbled to the earth and landed in a lake. The lake was dirty and disgusting, filled with disease and waste. As soon as the god hit the bottom, the water around him began to become clean and clear. It spread throughout the whole lake, making the green water clear and pristine.

Missing the heavens, the god sat at the bottom of the lake and cried. His tears were heavier than water and sank to the floor and turned into beautiful gems the size of small pebbles. He cried long and hard enough that the entire bottom of the lake was covered with magnificent jewels.

A traveler happened by the lake and with the sun shining through the clear water; it caused the jewels to send beams of beautiful light out of the lake. With amazement, the man ran into the lake and began to swim until he saw a figure at the bottom. The man was shocked by how beautiful the figure was and swam down deeper to see better. The god looked up at the man and spoke clearly through the water, 'I pity you humans who live such short lives and accomplish nothing. By giving my body to the lake, I will make it holy and give all humans a precious gift. Human, do you seek immortality?' The man struggled to hold in his air and not float to the top. The god reached out and pulled him down, causing the man let go of his air. 'I ask you again. Do you seek immortality?' Scared out of his mind by the strange and beautiful man trying to hold him down, he frantically nodded his head. 'Then drink,' said the god. 'Drink the water of this lake and your wish shall be granted.'

The god let go of the man and turned to golden dust. The man gasped for air and in the process, swallowed the lake water. He was seconds from death, but suddenly the man didn't feel the need to breath. He swam to the surface of the water and realized that he was now immortal. Over time, the man built a castle of gold next to the lake and invited others to live with him and drink from the lake. Being immortal, those people were considered gods. And they still live there today, welcoming anyone who seeks immortality and a new beginning."

The cloaked man finished his story and smiled at the speechless children who stared up at him.

"But everyone who goes there never returns!" exclaimed a young boy.

The cloaked man laughed. "If you were immortal and lived in a golden castle, do you think you would ever want to leave?"

The children then dispersed and talked together about the Lake of Legends and the Castle of Gods, planning on going there in the future. The cloaked man smiled to himself and retreated to the shadows, his mission successful.

This myth was spread around by many cloaked figures for years until others began to spread the stories themselves. Many even went to where the supposed Lake of Legends and Castle of Gods and like the little boy had said, they never returned. The people who get to the lake realize that the lake really doesn't grant immortality and the castle there really isn't made of gold, nor is it inhabited by gods. True, the lake is clear and beautiful compared to many other lakes, the waters even taste alright, but magnificent colors do not emit out of the lake and there are no colorful jewels at the bottom, but smooth foggy white pebbles instead. The castle is huge and one can easily get lost in it, but it is only made of stone, iron, marble and wood. Yes, it is beautiful inside and the furnishing is made for royalty. Yet, royalty does not live in the Castle of Gods. In fact, vampires do. Yes, they are as beautiful as gods and goddesses, but they are the ones who spread the myth of magic and golden castles. Why, you ask? To bring people. Why would they want to bring people, you ask? Vampires need to feed on something. Animals are never as satisfying.

Not all humans who go to the Lake of Legends and the Castle of Gods searching for immortality are killed for their blood. Some are turned into vampires, if they're worthy enough, and get their wish granted. Some are made into slaves and servants and are forced to work in the castle as butlers, cooks, maids and blood givers. A sad ending for those who wished to be gods and goddesses.

Other than vampire hunters, there's something standing in the vampire clan's way. A sworn enemy, the werewolves. Some say that these creatures came from Eastern Europe after the Lake of Legends and the Castle of Gods myth supposedly happened. Some say that the werewolves have always lived in the village and surrounding forests, blending in with the humans and always protecting them from the vampires, even though they too crave for human flesh. The werewolves know that they must try to stop this myth from circulating any further and to stop the humans from going to the castle. These creatures struggle against good and evil more than one may think. They want to help the humans, but then again they also wish to eat them, but try to survive off of animals. Then, during the full moon, they transform into half-human half-wolf creatures that crave blood a tripe times more than they do usually. In order to protect the humans, they must chain or cage themselves up until sunrise so they do not kill them. But chaining themselves up makes them vulnerable to the vampires. Will they decide to follow their head and feed off of the humans, or will they follow their heart and protect them?

Rules

- Follow the regular Menewsha rules, as lame as they are, they have to be obeyed or we all get in trouble.
- Please respect me and the other role-players.
- This is a long term RP, so please don't send in your character and never post.
- Post at least once every other day. C:
- This is a literate RP, meaning use correct grammar and try not to make spelling errors.
- Post as much as you'd like, I'm not going to hold you back. C: But, at least post a few sentences and give something to reply to. Writer's block is always understood, though. Just try your best.
- Make your posts look interesting? I hate boring looking fonts. Make it interesting and readable, okay?
- This is medieval role-play, okay? No technology.
- PM me your profiles, please, don't just post them without permission. You need me to accept your profile before you can join the RP. I don't really care what you title it, so whatever floats your boat. I just want the PM.
- Since vampire RPs have so many girls and not a lot of boys, I'm going to attempt to make it a little equal, so I'll stop accepting girls until we get enough boys, and then accept more girls again.
- Make your character interesting and unique or a little original. "Their parents died and s/he was orphaned young and grew up on the streets" isn't very original. Your biography is your character's story, so make it good.
- No killing another's character without permission.
- I do want killing, though, it makes it interesting. So please, create a character and keep in mind that they should eventually die. It makes the RP interesting and you can always make another character.
- Romance is a must. Just don't fall in love the second you talk to a person, okay? Go as far as you'd like, just don't make my RP a porno, got it?
- I'll be adding and editing rules a lot, so check back once in a while if you remember.

So this is what's up and hopefully will make things a little less confusing. C:

Vampires

Either you were born a vampire, or you were created. Vampires can have children, but their child is basically only a half-vampire until they make their first kill and that's when their aging stops, so a lot of vampires hold a ritual for half-vampires to turn full when they're an adult where the half-vampire will go hunting with the clan. And yes, the vampires living in the castle are a clan, meaning they all know each other [you can decide how well, but they should at least know each other's first name] and are almost like a family. If someone would like to be the clan leader, preferably a male, then I can give that role to you. If no one wants to take it, then I guess I will. What else... Oh right. If a vampire is going to change a human into one, there are a few things that need to be done. First, the vampire must drink from the human. Then, the human must drink from the vampire to merge their blood together. The human will fall into a sleep for however long and during this time they sort of die and when they wake, they must drink blood. Oh, something I wanted to add about drinking blood that always bothers me. The neck biting thing... that bothers me. If a vampire were to take blood from a human and bite their neck, blood would be everywhere and the human would have no chance of living. So if a vampire wants to kill a human, they go to the neck. A lot of vampire shows and entertainment, whatever do the "sexy neck bite" thing, but really if you were bit on the neck, you would die within minutes and it'd be a mess. So, vampires who want to just take some blood need to bite anywhere else. Vampires can go out in sunlight. They don't eat regular food, their bodies can't digest it, but they can drink human drinks. Some vampires like to sleep and are able to if they don't drink enough blood, but when they drink, they usually are too energetic and strong to be able to fall asleep. They have enhanced senses and are very strong and fast. Their wounds close up almost immediately. The only way to kill a vampire is by cutting off their head/arms/legs and burning them. Vampires have the ability to be very convincing and are able to use compulsion on humans. They are also able to heal human's wounds with their saliva.

Humans

You were told about the Lake of Legends and the Castle of Gods. The myth is a usual bedtime story and everyone has heard of the place. Some don't believe in it and some do. Whoever leaves to go, though, never comes back. This raises both fear and curiosity. For whatever reason, either you're seeking immortality or looking for the missing people or know about the vampires and have gone to kill them, you have taken the long journey to the lake. Once there, you are either killed, turned, or enslaved. If you're a vampire hunter, you often find yourself teaming up with the werewolves because they are much more efficient at killing vampires.

Werewolves

Your pack lives in the same territory as the vampires, causing both creatures to be very territorial. Some of the pack members live in the village along with the humans, blending in. Some live in the forest in caves or cabins. You are able to transform into a wolf any time you want, but are forced to turn into a half-wolf half-human form during the full moon. During this time, your lust for blood tripes and in order to not go on a feeding frenzy, you must chain or cage yourself up in a hidden place where the vampires hopefully cannot get to you. You often find yourself teaming up with vampire hunters and protecting them. You need to eat human food daily, but in order to still be able to transform into a wolf, you must feed on flesh. You either were born a werewolf and it runs in your family, or you were bitten by a half-human, half-wolf creature during the full moon. The transformation werewolves make during the full moon is the only time where they are able to turn humans into werewolves by biting them. You are also able to have one power.

Half-Vampires

You were born from two vampires and age the same as humans. You're basically a human, but look like a vampire and since you are so beautiful, like vampires, you are able to use compulsion on humans. You also need to eat regular food to keep up your strength and also sleep. You can drink human blood, which can make you stronger. But when a half-vampire becomes an adult, the parents and other vampires of the clan participate in a ritual where the entire clan goes hunting together in celebration of the half-vampire turning into a full vampire. In order to turn into a full vampire, though, the half-vampire must drain a human of blood and take their life essence, which makes them immortal. Once the life essence is stolen, they are immediately transformed into a full-vampire. Looking at a full vampire and a half-vampire, you cannot really tell the difference. They look entirely the same, but they smell different. A full vampire smells of nothing more than a vampire and some usually wreak of death while a half-vampire smells of both vampire and human. Some half-vampires stay that way their entire lives and eventually die when they become old. A half-vampire refusing to turn into a full vampire is usually looked down upon by their clan or other vampires.

The Castle

The castle is made of stone, iron, marble and wood, a powerful mixture that allows the castle to withstand the elements. It's beautiful and quite very large, as you can imagine with the dozens of people that live inside of it. On the first story you can find the servant's quarters which is neighbor to the kitchen and then the large dining room and then the library. There's also a music room and small study rooms scattered around the first floor, including a sitting lounge where many of the vampires come together as well as a large ballroom, where the vampires like to hold parties. Follow the maze of hallways to the back of the castle and you will find a greenhouse connected to the castle. Through the greenhouse and outside is a very huge garden with small stone paths, flowers, well trimmed bushes and trees, and also a quite large maze of hedges. On the second floor of the castle is where the vampires' bedrooms begin. Each bedroom has a connecting bathroom and a balcony. The servants' quarters is basically a room that has doors covering it's walls. Through the doors are smaller rooms where they may house 1 to 3 servants. They share a bathroom that is connected to the main room. Slaves, on the other hand, either live in their vampire's room or live in the attic or basement locked away with other slaves. The third story is more vampires' rooms and random rooms and some unused bedrooms. Next is the attic and some towers.

The Lake

A short walk from the castle, say around 100 yards, is the lake. It's a couple miles wide and a vampire can see to the other side of the lake with ease. The bottom of the lake is covered with smooth stones that look as if someone captured fog inside of them. They are somewhat clear, but not very much. The water is very cold and clear, making it good for drinking, even though it does not give the drinker immortality.

Werewolves vs. Vampires

In a straight one-on-one unarmed fight between a werewolf and a vampire, the werewolf would probably win; their claws and teeth can actually hurt (though not kill; only fire can do that) vampires, being supernatural weapons, and they are also pound-for-pound faster and stronger. However, vampires know this, so when fighting a werewolf they rarely go unarmed and never go alone. Werewolves, being more primitive and animalistic in nature, are generally clumsy with things like tools and weapons and prefer to do things with their bare hands/claws, and while they do hunt well in packs they are significantly less organized than the vampires are. Also, vampires being immortal, there are many more vampires over all than werewolves, so a direct all-on-all assault would swiftly end in the werewolves' defeat. In a straight run, a werewolf will quickly out-run a vampire, having supernatural speed themselves but also twice as many legs. A werewolf could easily catch up to a vampire on a straight shot, but vampires are much harder to track over long distances as they leave little to no scent behind. Conversely, a vampire will almost never catch up to a werewolf it is chasing straight off, but werewolves leave very strong and distinct scent trails, so they are much easier to track over long distances. Werewolves' and vampires' bites are extremely painful and can cause serious damage to one another, but they cannot change them. In theory a vampire could kill a werewolf by draining all of its blood as they would a human, but werewolf blood is very bitter and distasteful to a vampire, it makes them rather sick to their stomach and does not push back the hunger at all, so they will usually seek other methods of killing them. Werewolves are not immortal, but they are very strong; a stab wound through the heart will certainly severely weaken a a werewolf, but it will heal in about three days with proper medical attention. They can die from blood loss or decapitation, or from being shot or stabbed through the heart or brain with silver. Silver wounds inflict serious damage, and even a minor flesh wound inflicted with silver will take weeks to fully heal over. The mere presence of silver does nothing, so they can wear silver jewelry with no negative effects; it must contact the blood to do any damage. As silver does aggravated damage to werewolves, so fire does to vampires; even a minor flame burn will take weeks to heal over, and a strike with a flaming weapon can leave a permanent scar. But even a flaming arrow through the heart will not kill a vampire; it will incapacitate it for a month or so, but they will eventually heal, as only a complete dismemberment and subsequent burning of the entire body can fully kill the otherwise immortal vampire.

Alana stood outside the castle watching the lights of the nearby villiage. She just loved humans. They were so nice. She pulled up the hood to her cloak and started walking to the villiage. She had been going there periodically for the past week. She just couldnt keep away. She looked up as an owl hooted and sighed. She missed the times when she was a human before her fathers advisor had gotten to her. She really hoped that one day she would be able to end her wretched life. She walked faster hearing the wolves howl in the distance. She hated what she had become. She hated the company she kept and she absolutly couldnt stand the idea of being a vampire who would hurt a human. For over 500 years she had been feeding on animals. Not even thinking of drinking human blood. The other vampires thought her odd but she didnt care. She knew it was right. She made it to the villiage and walked down the streets looking around at everyone rushing back and forth. She saw her friend Stephanie and smiling went up to greet her.

"Hey steph." she said giving her friend a hug.

Alana what are you doing here? You know you shouldnt be here now. The guards are all over cuz of the holiday and if they find out your a vampire they will kill you."

"DOnt worry steph. How are they gonna find out? and even if they do I am to fast for them to catch and I have my bow and arrows. Theres nothing to worry about." She hoped this was true. The others wouldnt like her to be causing comotion around these things they called humans.

"I hope your right." Stephanie told her "Come lets go watch the festivities."

They both walked to the town square to enjoy the night together.

"Simply beautiful," said a tall young woman with long, wavy crimson hair and exotic gray eyes. She ran her fingers over the fabric that had potential to be a most amazing gown. The merchant stared at her in awe. The young man had no idea what he really was looking at. Most vampires were painstakingly beautiful and some humans had a hard time staying focused around them. Her dark blue gown made of silk and silver thread and a flattering corset didn't help the man's focus the least bit.

'Poor fool,' thought Helen as she reached for her pouch to take out some gold to pay the man with. 'If I asked him to walk me home, he'd drop his fabric stand in an instant.' She pondered this idea for a moment, but then dismissed it. She fed yesterday and was fine for a little while longer. And the young man sold high quality fabrics which were hard to find during these times. She handed him the money and he put the fabric in a long, slim square box. Smiling and thanking the man, she stepped away from his stand and turned around. The marketplace wasn't as full as it usually was, which she preferred.

Helen quickly left the market and caught a climpse of another clan member, Alana. 'Visiting the village once again,' she thought. Alana had been gone from the castle a lot recently. Helen felt bad that Alana never liked being a vampire and was even feeding off the blood of animals, but Helen embraced her vampirism, even though it brought her extreme boredom at times. Because all a vampire has is time. That's why Helen picked up dress making. It was a nice way to spend her time, and she wore almost everything she created. Her room was completely filled with dresses and fabrics. 'Maybe if Alana found a hobby, she would enjoy it more,' Helen thought. 'Or maybe if she tasted human blood.' Drinking the blood of a human was like drinking wine made in heaven.

The crimson haired vampire left the village with her box of fabric and began the long journey back to the castle. She wanted to walk this time and enjoy the view. All a vampire had was time, right?

Alana and stephanie got to the town square and it wasent long till two guys invited them out for tea. Alana made the excuse that she dosent drink tea but the guys insisted so they went to a inn for tea.

"Hi Im andrew and this is Ted."

THe guys introduced themselves as they all sat down.

"Im Alana and this is Stephanie. How are yall doing tonight?"

Alana said trying to make friendly conversation till she could get out of there. She looked at the guys. They were cute enough but she knew she could never date a human. A couple of guys from her coven had been interested in her but she just didnt wanna get into a relationship. Stephanie was flirting with Ted and a few minutes later whispered to Alana

"Me and ted are goin to his place. Im sorry but Ill catch you later. THey stood up and left.

Alana sighed and stood up Sorry andrew but im leaving also. I have things to do."

Andrew stood up also. I wanan see you again Alana. Your so pretty.

She sighed. This always happened to her and she hated it. Im sorry but I cant. And I cant tell you why either.

Andrew nodded and leaning against the chair he pricked his finger. Alana screamed and held her nose fast hoping to keep out the smell. SHe yelled to her coven to help her through there minds using the clans ability to communicate with each other no matter what. And then she went totally crazy. She growled and exposing her fangs attacked Andrew.

A voice called in her head, asking for help. "Alana."

Helen dropped the box of fabric and picked up the hem of her dress, turned around and flitted back to the village. She was moving so fast that her image was invisible to the human eye. Not long after she dropped the box deep into the forest was she outside of some kind of tavern which she wasn't familiar with. Candles flickered from the windows and banging was heard from inside.

She already knew what was going on. Many times this has happened, where vampires just couldn't control themselves around humans. It was expected. This was why they lived far away from the village, in a castle with their own kind.

The crimson haired woman opened the door of the tavern and stepped inside. Her gray eyes flickered over to her clan member, who was attacking a man.

"Alana!" Helen strode closer to where she was, but stopped before she got too close. "Control yourself!" she ordered. She hoped that Alana could muster the courage to pull herself away from the human.

Holly was out partying with some of her friends. She knew after tonight she wouldn't be coming back here. At least not alive. "Lets go get some tea" she said to her friend. Her friend said "No I'll stay here. You go. See you later"
Holly left and walk to the in. A lady just rushed in there so Holly followed. She saw what was happening. 'Vampires.' She thought silently. She looked at them both. Almost positive that they saw her and slipped back out into the night running as fast as she could to the lake. "Now's the time." She wispered and ran as fast a she could.

Alana heard a shout and saw Helen. She paused and looked at the frightened man beneath her. She growled letting out a howl of rage. She noticed the Inns cat walk in and turning she ran to the cat and attacked it sucking it dry of blood. Her hunger temporarily sated she closed her mouth wiping the blood from her face and looking at the frightened humans she bowed. "I apologize." She walked to the man and helped him up. She looked where she had bit him and cursed. She looked at Helen "What do we do?

Helen watched Alana as she drained the blood of a cat. The door opened behind her earlier, and a woman walked in, but then had ran out. She had definitely saw what had happened. She glanced around at the people in the room, all of them shocked and terrified.

"Alana, use your saliva and heal the man's wound," she said softly, but eagerly. They needed to get out of there soon. Helen turned slowly around the room, looking everyone in the eyes. "You have never seen either of us before. You will not remember who we are and you do not remember anything that has happened in the past five minutes. None of you will remember the cat and will continue on with your evening like nothing has happened as soon as her and I leave the room," she said to the people in the room, using her compulsion so that they will listen to her words and forget about what had just happened and so that no one will miss the cat, if it was anyone's pet.

Alana spit on the mans bite mark and then looking at Helen she left the Inn. She waited outside for Helen Knowing good and well she was in trouble. The coven leaders had told her time and time again not to go out to the town because these things would happen. She had always shrugged it off and did as she pleased.

She sat down on a barrel trying to figure out what to do. She had seen some girl come in and leave. She knew she was going to cause some sort of problem.

Helen grabbed the dead cat by the neck and followed Alana out of the inn. She threw the corpse into a small alley where hopefully it could decay in peace, or be eaten by another animal.

She gave Alana the "you know better than that" look a parent might give their child, but didn't stop as she had done and began walking to the forest. "Alana, we have to follow that woman. She saw what you did," she called over her shoulder and then disappeared into the darkness of the forest. The scent the woman left behind was sticking in the air, she wasn't that far ahead.

Alana sighed and then took off after Helen. She knew that when they finished this she would get a good talking to the the clan elders. She had no trouble keeping pace with Helen. After all vampires were much faster than humans could ever hope to be. She watched Helen run and smiled. Helen was a good vampire. She liked it. She might even actually have fun being a vampire. All Alana wanted to do was to go back to being a human again.

In the roots of a particularly gnarled and lichen covered tree sat Siegfried Bonne, his nose - as always - buried in a book. He sat leisurely, his long legs spread out over the roots, his elbow nestled comfortably in a hollow in the trunk. His blue gray eyes were moving quickly along each page, but he wasn't making much progress with the book. The text was very old, and every time Siegfried turned the page he had to take absolute care not to damage the crackling yellow paper.

Around him the forest was quiet and serene. There was very little light filtering through the dark leaves, but that was no trouble for Siegfried. His vampire eyes were keen enough to see in any darkness. The occasional cold breeze would worry the slim branches every now and again, but Siegfried payed them no attention. Even in his thin jacket he felt no cold. The only sound was his careful gloved fingers turning the ancient pages.

Suddenly, however, another sound came to Siegfried's ears, that of running feet. Siegfried sighed and carefully closed the book, his brow furrowed. Was he never to find any peace? He stood and walked quietly around the gnarled old tree, eyes narrowed in agitation. He could make out a form moving swiftly through the trees, accompanied by a slightly smaller one. As they drew closer, Siegfried's annoyance grew.

"Helen? Alana? What on earth are you doing out here? You disturbed my reading."

Alana stopped and looked at him gasping.

"Please dont get mad at me but we had a kinda incident and well we need to catch this girl whose running from us because she saw it and if we dont catch her we will be in trouble."

She took a breath watching his reaction to her words afraid of being rebuked. Her black hair fell down her back almost to her ankles. Her big eyes were opened wide with fear. Her outfit consisted of a dress that stopped at her knees. She wore boots up to her knees so that her flesh wasent exposed. ((just realized I never described her clothes)) All of these things were black her favorite color. Over it she wore a cloak not only to keep out the weather but also to hide the rest of her pale colored skin.

The human's scent slowly got less and less distinguishable and began to fade and get lost into the other smells of the forest.

'I can't believe I lost it,' thought Helen. 'I haven't lost a human's scent in years...'

The human was gone. Who knows what kind of tales this woman might tell, or if she told vampire hunters, they might be in for an uncomfortable situation. Helen had a hard time and spent a lot trying to clean away tales of her clan and to make the humans as unaware as possible.

Even though the scent was gone, she continued to move forward in hopes of running into the human. It was highly unlikely, but one could only hope. They ran into someone a little more unexpected though.

The sound of the other clan member's voice made her immediately come to a hault and look in his direction. Siegfried, and he was reading, as usual.

"We disturbed your reading, dear Siegfried?" she asked, a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "I'm terribly sorry. You see, we've been following a female woman who witnessed a little something that maybe she should have not. Now, I've lost her scent and who knows what might happen now."

Helen expected a lot from herself, and when she let something as simple as a human get away, it really got to her. She let out a quick sigh and crossed her arms. Hopefully, the human would go to the castle and will meet her maker there. Her gray eyes fluttered over to Alana, who looked really worried. Hopefully she wasn't too hard on herself for losing it in public. She would definitely get a talking to, still though.

Siegfried smiled at the two women, although his expression contained no mirth. "Well," he said, advancing on them, "that really is too bad. I think you must have lost her quite a while back, because I caught no scent of human here." His gray blue eyes darted quickly over the two, full of distrust. Siegfried knew most of the inhabitants of the castle, but he was on good terms with very few of them. There were only a few vampires who came regularly to the library, and it was not Siegfried's custom to chat with them. He regarded anyone to came to take his books away with dislike.

"Perhaps you were mistaken. I'm sure no human female could get past me without my notice."

((I'm going to go take a quick shower, be back in a bit!))

[[ Alright~ ]]

"Perhaps I was mistaken," the crimson haired vampire said as she slowly looked at their surroundings. "I have no idea where she could have gone." A new human scent wasn't lingering anywhere. At this time of night, barely anyone was around other than vampires. The scent had just disappeared, though, like the woman had completely vanished. Maybe if she back-tracked, she could find the woman's scent again and try again to follow it.

"Oh!" Helen exclaimed and hit herself on the forehead. "I forgot the box from earlier that I dropped before the incident. Let me go back and get it. I can also try to pick up on the human's scent again."

Before she could get a reaction from the other two, she was off. She flitted like lightning as she dodged trees and leaped over fallen trees and shrubs. The scent was no where to be found... but her box was. She stopped and bent over, picking up the box as she stood up again. Lifting up the hem of her dark blue dress, she began to run back to the others. Once she found them by the enormous gnarled tree, she stopped and sighed.

"The human's scent has completely dissipated."

Siegfried watched Helen's retreating back with disdain. As he was the retiring type, he rarely saw his fellow vampires outside the Castle. He had only run into Helen a few times, but they knew each other by reputation. She was intriguing, though, and he was due for a break from his books. As she disappeared he turned to look at Alana.

Her appearance was different from the other vampires he knew, that was for certain. It seemed as though she'd become a true vampire at a young age, but that didn't bother him. When it came to women, he didn't take notice of age. He opened his mouth to speak, but he barely had time to form a word before Helen returned.

"Well. Perhaps you two ladies would like to accompany me back to the Castle. We may even find your human friend along the way. What do you say?" Siegfried smiled at the two, letting his eyes linger on each of them in turn. "It's been a while since I've had the company of two...beauties like yourselves."

((Sorry about the wait x_x Back now!))
