Howard Shore, the composer for the movie scores, got an Oscar for best original soundtrack for the first and third movies, and the third one got best original song for a song Annie Lennox sang for it. They're definitely worth having a listen to. :) You can find them all on YouTube. I can't choose a favorite song out of them, but this one brightens my day every time I hear. it. ^^
