Well, I don't have anything against techno, but I think it's worth mentioning that some of the songs coming up are spoiling that for me. Some have good beats, some have okay beats and some have aimless beats, I think. What do you think? :)

Not too sure what "fad" you're referring to unless you're using "techo" as a term for all electronic music. What songs in particular are you referring to? I'm from Detroit so, needless to say techno is big here. XD

As for my own personal taste in music, while I don't mind some techno every now and again, I'm not a huge fan of electronic music in general. It's hard to deny when a song is good based on the fact that it's electronic though. XD

I kinda like techno. I didnt really pay much attention to it before pretty much all recent music became electronic.

I'm going to make believe that you mean Electronic music in general. Because there is no description of favorites up there, and techno's already a broad enough term. No offense to the OP, but that's normally what people mean when it's brought up in a normal convo.

Electronic music's been around for a loooong time (although still relatively new in terms of main genres) and it's a general term, although constantly changing in some way over time more than other genres. However along with most things that have been around for a looooog time stuff degrades in the public eye, and of course ends up spawning people who think Deadmau5, Pendulum, and Daft Punk are the only purely Electronic things out there. Far from it.

I'm normally a person for Old-School Hardcore, Chiptune, Drum N' Bass (and no, not Pendulum. They're hardly DnB anymore), and French House when in the electronic mood. However my favorite items are still from Lapfox Trax (which is mostly not any of the aforementioned items), which is basically a name that Renard uses to say all his collective work. Overrated and repetitive. I can't stand most of it.

techno is not new it has been around for a LOOOOONG time Ive been a fan of it since the beginning when I first heard it though I love techno/metal sounding that is truly awesome for example listen to this its a theme song from a flash rpg game called epic battle fantasy 3 its the boss theme author is halyconic falcon X from newgrounds

I didn't mean that it's new, but it's become one of those things that are reborn in a way, you know. Most new songs ar techno or something close...

I think that the best techno and trance music is the underground stuff thats where the best music in that genre are at. ;)
