usually a title or the art on the book sleeve is what makes me want to read it

that's not stupid, Hummy. it's easy to pick books up for the art and title. maybe that's not why I buy them, but you got to have something there to convince people to pick it up in the first place.

My criteria for attracting to book in first impression are different than my criteria to read it and different also to my criteria to BUY it. XD

First impression.
1. Nice title, could be funny, rhymed, special, just catchy in anyway.
2. Design. Book cover design from awesome art to the special font.

Read
1. Story must be my type/genre.
2. Preferable ending.
3. Pairing.

Buy
1. have to be hell awesome of a story.

usually it's easy to base it on a theme or symbol in the book. a character name or place. generally it should be catchy and easy to say. same rules that make a good username.
