As She saw Deks Shinku smiled."yes im a friend of your brother's,i don't mind if you look over my wounds though the ones you can't see are pretty bad."Shinku warned."i don't really mind who i get a ride for all i need is to get my things out of his place before he comes home...if my ex finds me he'll pretty much kill me."Shinku said in a serious tone.

Deks smiled. Walking her across the street, he walked into a large building. Coaxing her in, Deks walked into an occupied clinic room. Pointing for her to take a seat, Deks flipped on a stethoscope and gloves.
He prodded at her wounds. He then listened to her heart, took her temperature, pulse, and several other things. He scrapped some scum from beneath her finger nails and even peaked inside her mouth. After checking her hair, he sat back down on a stool. "Miss, were you... raped?" The whole time Deks was with Shinku, Dusk waited across the hall. He couldn't hear what was going on, but he could see it. The look in his brother's eyes seemed proof enough that this girl had been through hell and back. The more time he spent with Shinku, the more Dusk wanted to protect her. To save her. But, he didn't have the heart to at this point in time. He was still grieving over Dawn. |
Shinku slightly frowned and nodded as she held one of her hands toward her chest as though underneath her clothing had the worse wounds yet."y-yes."Shinku said nervously as she didn't like answering a question like that as whenever she did she would remember the whole scene in her head like a movie or a clip of a movie.
"though most of the brutal wounds are not visable due to they are around by back and stomache and chest."Shinku said as she looked down at her legs. |
Deks patted her shoulder. "Miss Shinku, would you like us to arrest him? My brother's best friend and sister's fiance is a cop. He can bring that punk down. No man should ever do what they did to you. You're a beautiful woman. You should be respected and loved. All women should. Perhaps it was our raising, but none of us Skytun's have ever hit or hurt a woman before. We can't. It would... disgrace us."
Smiling, he looked over toward Dusk. "He's one hell of a man. I'm sure he'll do everything he can to help you out. Now," he looked at her wounds, "you're not... pregnant, are you?" |
"the man who did this...he's unhuman and dangerous...it would be hard to arrest him as every bounty hunter wants him for their money."Shinku said to Deks.
When Deks asked if she was pregnant her eyes widened a bit."i-im not sure if i am its possible that i am.I never had a chance to check since everyone went by so fast all i wanted to do was get the heck away from him."Shinku said as she clentched onto her dress wondering if she was pregnant or not. |
"Oh, you have nothing to worry about. My brother's friend... Nieko, hell even Rroy himself, they could get him. They're assassins themselves. But, I'm not sure they'd just go after anyone. Meh, oh well."
Walking to a nurse, Deks asked her something. A few moments later, he returned with a cup of water and a pill. "Take this. It'll stop you from becoming pregnant. It's my own creation. If you were pregnant, you're va... your fluids will be blue. If not, you'll be your typical colorless color." Smiling he patted her again. "Oh, and if you don't mind, I'd like to give you these samples. They should remove the bruising. It's a cream. Apply it once a day for the next two days and your bruises will be gone. As far as the scars, I want you to wash with this soap. It won't rid of them completely, but enough so that they will be unnoticeable to the average person." |
Shinku was afraid to take the pill.She took in a deep breath and put it in her mouth and swallowed it.After Shinku swallowed the pill she then took the cream."Is it alright if i put some on now?"Shinku asked unsure if she could or should.She was glad Dusk's brother was helping her get rid of the bruises.Then she wouldn't look like a total mess when she was in public.
"Thank you for helping me.Im not sure what i would've done if you didn't help me with my bruises and all of the other things."Shinku said with a slight smile. |
"Please, don't thank me. Thank Dusk. If you hadn't met him, I never could have treated you." Patting her head, Deks into the hallway. The second he did, his name was called over the sound system.
"Sorry, I can't talk now. I have to run. Besty! Melinea! To room RX36, now!" Dusk, who was across the way, looked up when he noticed his brother had gone. "Are you ready to go?" He said handing her his jacket. "Sorry, Deks can be a scatter brain. It looks like he ran off with your jacket. So here, have mine." His eyes were directed toward her shoes. Her bra was exposed at that point, and Dusk found it rude of him to stare especially at his new friend. His hands slid into his pockets and he turned around. "Oh, and you might want to fix your shirt...." He said moving into the hallway. "And I'm ready whenever you are." |
Shinku slightly blushed and fixed her top.It now was completely on.She put his jacket on and stood up."S-Sorry about that.I sometimes blank out and un-notice the things that are most noticable."Shinku said to Dusk."Well im ready to go."Shinku said with a slight smile.She was now showing more of her emotions rather than just her bitterness.
Shinku is the type of person who builds a barrior around her emotions not letting anyone in to destroy her barrior.Though her barrior is now disapearing because she doesn't want to be the way her ex is."Thanks for helping me out through everything.Your a really good person Dusk."Shinku said in a soft tone.Shinku stood up and stepped into the hallway and next to Dusk.For some reason Shinku wanted to hold his arm or his hand.She wasn't sure why though. why do i want to do that?if i do that things will get so weird. |
"Awww, it's nothing my dear. Now... I know we shouldn't be driving, but what do you say to 'borrowing' my brother's car?" Dangling a pair of keys before her face, Dusk grinned. "His car can drive itself." His grin widened even more. "Besides, it's a SUV. We can load all your stuff in the back... if you're... interested."
His smile was far more realistic than any of his previous ones. This one was real. Real and full of passion, warmth, and acceptance. He was finally warming up to her, and, to his luck, he felt she was doing the same. "Oh, I don't recall if I said this earlier, but you're beautiful." A light pink came to his face, but he made sure to hide it beneath his hair. |
Shinku smiled."You are quite sneaky!"Shinku said with a smirk."I am up for it."Shinku said with a smile.When she heard he say she was beautiful she blushed and her red cheeks were showing quite a lot.
w-why am i b-blushing?maybe its because no one had really said that i was beautiful in a long time. Shinku cleared her throat and put herhead down letting her bangs cover most of her eyes."well l-lets go!"Shinku said hiding her face from Dusk not letting him seeing her blushing cheeks. |
"Well, my baby brother is an assassin, so I have learned some stealth skills. Heh, Deks is a doctor. My twin Jacoby is an architect. Tormund is a political reporter. June is a famous photographer. Rroy, the baby of us all, is the assassin, model, engineer, and wearer of many more hats." He smiled. "I honestly can't keep up with his job title anymore. Ha ha."
His head shot back at her. "I'm sorry if I already asked this, but where do you work? I'd love to visit you sometime." He beamed at her. "Ummm, I'd say visit me, but I work with dead people. So I'll understand if you don't." His eyes saddened some as he recalled his lover. "So," he said looking at the car, "how do we program this thing to drive us to your ex's place? I am far from a techy guy. I still use pen and ink. Only modern thing I have is my cell phone and I had to spend three hours with Rroy learning how to use it." |
Shinku giggled and raised her head up."Im a bartender and a waitress at the bar you were at today.Thats where i work."Shinku said with a smile."You took his keys yet you don't know how to drive it?"Shinku asked tilting her head."I'll drive.When i was 6 i was sent to an assasin school to be trained as an assasin.To Thiss day i still go to the assasin division."Shinku said with a smirk."Though thats probably the reason why my ex beat me up...he was my target."
Shinku was very calm at telling Dusk about how it all happened.She had no problem with telling Dusk.But with other people she would have a problem with telling them things like this. |
“What? Are you serious?” Dusk scratched his head. “I’ve never seen… holy damn. You’re…” Dusk looked away. “Okay, I guess I can spill it. But when I first met my fiancé, I was goofing off with some friends at the bar. We were doing a spin the bottle game and whoever the bottle landed on, we had to ask out. Mine landed on Dawn. But… not originally. The first time I spun it, it landed on… you.” His eyes met hers. “But you were taken, so I had to try again.”
Turning his head away, Dusk laughed. “And I’m sure I can figure it out. It can’t be that ha… okay, which is the button for the radio?” His eyes looked pleadingly into hers. “I drive a standard. This thing is far to advanced for me. So, if you can figure out…” he was cut off by a loud vibrating sound. “Rroy-kun!” His fingers pried the phone open. “Dude, how do I start the auto-driving in Deks’ car? …OH! Yeah, duh… I knew that. Ha ha…. So… can you program it? Sweet. I’ll text you the coordinates in a few. Thanks man, you’re a lifesaver! … Love you too!” Hanging up, he turned back to Shinku. “What’s his address? Rroy’ll program it for us.” |
"Is that so?It could've been Darius i was going out with.Though he died when i was 16.I knew him since i was 4.Though after he died i went out with someone else and that would be my ex."Shinku said."Technically its my apartment which on the outskirts of town.Its an old building,has no elevator and has tons of stairs.One time i ended up in the hospital because he pushed me down the staircase.I broke my whole arm and a few ribs."
"The address is on blacker street."Shinku told Dusk."He's done some very harsh things to me.Some are unimaginable.He even tested his latest experiments on me." |
"Remind me to break his arm when I see him," Dusk said as he texted Rroy the address. "No man should ever hurt a pretty faced woman like yourself." His eyes met hers. "And I mean it, I'll break his arm."
As he watched her out of the corner of his eye, Dusk thought if perhaps he was being too harsh. She must have loved the guy at some point. Insulting him now would really only be insulting her. Shaking the thought off, his eyes narrowed some as they arrived at the destination. "So, shall we?" |
"I would not mind you breaking his arm."Shinku said with a smirk.She didn't really like him much after the beatings started.She feared him for many years and still does.Shinku wanted him dead.Though Shinku think her ex isn't even human"We shall."Shinku said with a smile.

"Ha ha, good. I think I'll also break his nose." Dusk laughed that was until his eyes widened at the 9th floor comment. "It's a good thing I like exercise. But before we head up and in," he intertwined his fingers through hers, "I'd like to tell you that no matter what happens, I have your back."
His charming smile came to his face as he looked down into her eyes. "I don't... I don't want you to get hurt." The more he spoke, the faster his heart raced. Dude, what is up with me? Calm down, she's just a chick. Nothing to drool over... but goddamn, she's so... incredibly... wonderful. |
"Thanks...and trust me if he does hurt you i will kill him.I've already attempted many attempts at killing him."Shinku said with a chuckle.Once she got up to her apartment and opened the door.Her apartment had broken lamps from when she tried to kill him."Don't mind the mess that was from 5 in the morning me trying to attempt to kill him."Shinku said with another chuckle.She then got inside picking up her favorite metal baseball bat that her old boyfriend Darius that loved her deeply and took good care of her gave to her.
Shinku then grabbed a couple of boxes packing her things up.She grabbed her old gym bag from high school and packed all of her clothes into it.Once she got all of her important things backed she then grinned."All right all ready to go!"Shinku said with a smirk."You ready to take this stuff downstairs to the car?" |
"Oh please, babe, I was born ready." He blinked. "Well, that came out wrong. Sorry," Dusk blushed and then picked up some of the heavier boxes. Looking over the top, he nodded. "I'm good. But would you mind heading down first? I really can't see all that well over these guys." He laughed sheepishly as he picked his way toward the door. "Is this really all of it? Are you sure you don't want to grab more? Or would you rather come back in the day?"
His eyes shifted about as he wondered where her ex was. If they were lucky, he'd be out. If not, well, he was holding the heavy boxes. |
"Im sure i don't need anything else everything else is crap."Shinku said with a chuckle picking up the rest of the boxes and headed downstairs and putting the boxes in the car.She then stretched her body.Once Dusk was downstairs and to the car putting the boxes in the car she then caught a glipse of her ex.
"Uh oh...Dusk he's home early we have to hurry and get outta here."Shinku said helping him put the rest of the boxes in the car.If he caught a glimpse of Shinku he would try to kill her. |
Pulling a hat from the car, Dusk placed it on Shinku's head. He then tugged at a cane and made sure he popped his collar. "Come love, we don't have time. We need to be in London by 6AM. Hurry along now," he said shooing her into the car.
Stepping in, he made sure to keep the lights off until they were both ready to take off. "Heh, sorry about that, but I figured playing a rich, snobbish couple outta bore him... or so I hope." His eyes shifted to the side of the building. Damn that guy is creepy.... He thought as he pulled the car into gear. Rather than letting it drive, he was now sober enough to drive on his own. After getting one glimpse of the thug, he had the alcohol scared out of him |
"Its alright...your quite a good actor."Shinku whispered close into his ear.Shinku lowered herself in her seat so he wouldn't see her."That man terrifyes me.He is actually more deadly than he appears.When i was 16 he killed someone i cared about."
Shinku said remembering when she could only stand there and watch him rip apart the one she loved like an old rag doll."How far is your place from here anyway if i may ask?Once he heads inside the building we'll head off."Shinku said with a smile. Her ex rolled his eyes when Dusk was acting like a rich snooty person whith shinku.Not knowing it was her that is.He then stepped inside his apartment closing the door behind him. Shinku then turned toward Dusk."Alright the cost is clear.Now lets head out." |
"Sounds like a plan," Dusk said pulling away from the creepy building. A smile came over his face as she shot Shinku a quick glance. "So are you always running around like this trying to avoid that guy? Or do you actually get out and have some fun?" As he drove the car down a poorly lit street, Dusk felt his face go pale.
"Ummm, I don't think I've cleaned my place in a while...." He gulped some. "So when you step foot into the hellish looking place I call home, don't think badly of me. I've... I've yet to begin to remove the stuff I don't want." His eyes reflected the lights of a oncoming car. Slightly blinded due to the jerks not dimming their lights down, Dusk grumbled. "I hate bad drivers...." |
"Im always running away.Some are a bit crazy to when i runaway.Im not just an average girl who runsaway."Shinku said with a chuckle."Its alright i don't mind messy places.As i recall my apartment looked like crap with the broken lamp on the floor."Shinku said with a smirk.Shinku leaned back onto her seat trying to come up with a conversation to start.She hated silence.
When she heard Dusk say he hated bad drivers she agreed with him.She knew he probably had a bad experience with them or a bad driver did something to someone he cared for.She knew she had bad enough memories with accidents. |
